Well, it's some of the game BS that we talk about while playing the game.
At this point, it's like we've accomplished almost everything and can always find something to complain about, but we still play the game. I.E. Shadow Shard for villains, it's not gonna happen.
Think about any issues you might have had or your friends might have had then look at the little list and hopefully will see the humor. -
nope, no issues. However, I play on Guardian. There always seems to be some lag here and there in game. But nothing as bad as what you describe.

If there were any new patches and people were downloading at the same time; the issue would be that there's lots of people downloading a patch thus making the download slow.
Try a little later and see if that helps.
If you don't see any increase in download speeds the issue is on your end.
Try turning off your anti-virus, stop all other downloads (duh). -
I would try to update your computer for GR not for CoX as it is right now. Also, I'd wait till after thanksgiving to get a card, you might get a better deal on one that you're already looking it.
Awesome is right about the RAM, to an extent not all RAM works in pairs. I'm positive that Dell computers do run best with paired RAM. -

Well, thats a case issue and an issue with Dell XPS, I have the same computer and I can't shut the case cause it starts overheat causing the case fans to spin out of control, It also sounds like a vacuum cleaner or a small jet. The card is just too big and there's not enough air flow even with 2 extra fans. So this issue is consistent with my video card too an GeForce 7950 GX2. DX10/11, Windows 7 and Vista are the only 2 who support DX10/11, unless you are running 7 or Vista and want the extra hot sauce for your games, you should probably be looking for a better cardQuote:Cons: the fan is covered entirely by the heat sink shroud in my XPS 420, but is still cooler than my old 8600gts.

Come on, i can understand a busted card or fan and having to send them back to be replaced and so on. It sucks, but it happens. Have you defragged your dirve(s) recently?
Cleared all Temp files?
Updated drivers to latest version, but first uninstalling previous drivers? Used Driver Cleaner?
Installed/updated any new Applications, Anti-Virus, Windows updates?
After you opened your case to install the vidcard or whatever, accidentally knocked something kinda loose?
Double check to make sure your RAM, Vid Card, Sound Card is seating correctly.
Make sure all internal connectors (IDE/SATA) Cables are fully plugged in.
Dust out the machine?
Disconnect nonessential components from computer, IPod, External Drives, Camera, Headsets etc etc. -
I was looking into getting a new Vid Card as well, I spoke with a buddy of mine, he and his wife both play Aion (if that matters to you). He suggested the GTX260 CORE 216 not to be confused with the CORE 192. You'd have to read up on some reviews to know the exact issue between the 2 cores.

He also mentioned that for the GTX260 price compared to the GTX275 and up you get very similar quality and performance for a few bucks less. If you are price conscious the GTX260 would be the better deal. -

N/M after a reboot the updater seems to have fixed the issue.

This morning I start up my CoX (on my main rig) and was greeted with a Patch! YIPPIE! However, once log in I get a 'Game version error; Current version, 1600.20090902.5T2' please run patcher and reconnect.
I've tried to verify files and such, something tells me I might need to reinstall?
My 2nd rig, which is working fine, version 1600.20090902.4T2

I just hope the 'new' boards are NOT phpBB3 and that hopefully its vBulletin. They have a new version, 4, coming out in a few weeks (months). Not that it matters, as the current version of VB is great as it is.
There's nothing wrong with phpBB, I am an avid supporter of it for 6 years. It's just not the BEST solution for extremely active boards.
I still can't believe that PlayNC/Cryptic paid any money for these boards. -
