It's not crossdressing. Female costume options are not being ported to males, nor vice versa.

    IBTD.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, it's been reiterated again and again... it's not crossdressing. You may change your character's form to female to male, and vice-versa

Of course, if someone is adding that element through role-playing, then it could be considered that the specific character in question is crossdressing. However the fine folks at Paragon Studios have provided you with a lovely "ignore" feature should this offend you in someway, and if some form of obscene or lewd behavior in game is being directed directly at you. you may always report the individual with the chat logs to show this issue.

Oh... and most teens I know know what a crossdresser is.

And... last I checked, crossdressing wasn't considered obscene or lewd behavior, and while not socially acceptable in some cultures on the planet, it's hardly a threat to our treasured little podlings.

In fact... the only real issue anyone should have is the fact that we're having to pay $10 to get something the majority of the players have been begging for for years to be included as a feature. Not that's the *real* crime here.

And... No, I'm not a crossdresser... except on Thursdays where you can catch me at "Club Masque" in Talos... under the name "Veronica, The Velvet Vixen of Vengeance"

Oh... and Eddie Izzard said hello.

  2. Well, it's my understanding that it's not farms that were the issue, but farms that were using a specific set of exploits MA had when it was first released... use of which- at one point - caused Posi's head to explode.

Supposedly, those exploits have been plugged and the ban-hammer is back to being properly reserved for inappropriate and offensive content and for the handful of rogue Architects who constantly create new farms based on yet undiscovered (by the devs) exploits.

With that said, there seem to be a few players that feel that the issue is *any* farm and not just the game-breaking "exploit farms", and constantly create and delete farms in an attempt to be able to farm and avoid scrutiny. Combine those with the other Architects that simply think they're building the better mousetrap and you end up with a sea of clone farms rivaling those in the stormy seas of Kamino. 8D
  3. No bubble helmets or super-science weapons. Meh
  4. Rail... you're wrong. This applies to the majority of the statements you've made in the majority of your posts. Please return to your seat or members of Gunther and Guido Security Services (and Bail Bonds... ask about our two-felonies-for-one Father's Day special!) will escort you out.

With that said, we know return you to your normally scheduled "Going Rogue" Thread... already in progress.

    Oh... Shop Smart... Shop S-Mart

    kthxbye 8D

In fact, most masterminds don't make sense as heroes... "I'm a savior to the down-trodden, who sends his army of street thugs to beat up other street thugs! Gang warfare... for justice!"

    Rating Griefing

I'm not sure that what you're describing is "griefing" persay. It sounds more like "personal opinion."

You may think you;re arc is the greatest thing like sliced bread, and so may everyone else on a half-dozen team after you. However, I may come along play it, and hate it... and give it a single star.

This is not me Griefing you, this is me adding my personal opinion to the mix. Now, if I can contribute my like or dislike to any one thing, I might leave that in a comment. (for example: "Mobs are too close together to solo without agroing" or "Wow... loved the twist at the end")) but I'm certainly not going to enter into a long drawn out discussion to justify my rating to you.

Even the best Books, Movies, Music... etc get bad reviews. It's the overall impression of your work that means something, and if 100 people experienced it and you're getting a rating of 4 our of 5, that means that at least 80 people were impressed with it and that's no small feat.

Take it as the pat on the back it is.
  8. Heh... this reminds me of the Class Introduction scene in Judge Dread.

Issue 14. Yours... if they can ever get it to work. 8D
  9. Damn you... here goes another slice of my life

    Thunderhead X
  10. Let's see if he's up to snuff for this job:

    Quick... Autobot or Decepticon?
  11. Might as well add my complaint to the hat. I don't think there's a mission that I run with my current rad/rad defender that my LT/Boss anchor doesn't take off running with my auras ASAP, I spend more time waiting for them to refresh after constantly having to drop them to prevent everything on the level begin agroed, then I do actually completing the mission.

It makes team missions difficult, and soloing damn near impossible for that character

And, it [u]is[u] steadily getting worse with each update.

I know how much everyone wants new goodies in the next issues, but if this is something that can be tracked back several issues now, it really needs to be put on the short list ahead of other things.
  12. THIS SUCKS. Is that where all my money went?!? Where's my City Vault, Where's my Moon Zone... WHERE'S MY ASCENDANT NEMESIS PWNIEZ!

    ((is cool, i kid 8P))
  13. NOT have a note pad and writing instrument near your play space, for noting important things (like, for example, who on your team doesn't want SB). 8D
  14. Nice looking issue. Little disappointed about the lack of a pistols power-set. Ah well, can't have everything.

Love to have a bit more information on the Cyborg booster, though
  15. It's nice they're offering it, but it's too pricey just for a respec (as well as a name change or a limited costume pack like the wedding, for that matter).

Two or three bucks, sure, but not ten bucks.
  16. Looking at the title, I'd hazard a guess that it has something to do with Carnies.
  17. Ditto, just dropped an alt to make a new toon... locked, no shopping bag, etc.
  18. You suck... AT POSTING GARBAGE! hehe

Good Guide, very informative and answers a lot of questions very succinctly. Thanks for the effort, Silver
  19. Without sounding too negative... for $10, I'd want a bit more than a couple of specialized costumes and a hand full of emotes.
  20. OK... I have to say I just can't see MMORPGS (in general) or CoH (in specific) being "console-bound" like many of the other types of PC games have become.

Then again, I could be wrong. I never thought the RTS would becomes the new (low) standard in wargaming on PC either.
  21. Weapon Cust... I'm so happy I could toungue-kiss all the DEVs right now... err... um... in a manly sorted guy way thingy... err...

... Did I say that outloud?

I'll... be going now. Hooray fo Issue 11 ::runs::

Can people PLEASE stop complaining? I wanna' see you go and make a pair of powersets that is going to please all of America, Europe, and Korea. Okay? Cryptic does a lot to make us happy, can't we be greatful? Stop complaining about making 'another blades powerset'. ITS ALREADY MADE!!! If you don't like it, don't play it! Roll a Defender or Controller, because if your sick of old Scrapper and Tanker powersets, these two play a lot differently! Please, stop the whining and make the best of the situation!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, since I11's not even in beta yet, I'd say that - although I'm sure that quite bit of development has gone into the sets, that it's hardly set in stone.

As to whining, mentioning that you're not pleased with something is hardly that. It's called *feedback* for a reason. Cryptic, Gods bless them, apparently cares what people think, hence the regular stream of patches and improvements, new "toys," and other changes to keep a game and fresh long after MOST companies have moved on to some other project. It's from all this "whining" that Cryptic can see... for example... that some players might not be happy with the fact that dual blades are scimitars, Willpower might not be the most flashy of defense powers, or that Rikti are too tall. If there's enough people that are making comments for or against something, then Cryptic can tell which way their subscribers are leaning, and where the subscribers would like to go next... all so that they can keep those subscribers happy... and paying... for another 41 months.

Of course, maybe we should follow your advice and make sure that Cryptic *never* got an idea of what its subscribers wanted by simply keeping our "whining" to ourselves and let the Dev make blind decisions...

::looks over at the shelf of *dead* games amassed over the last 15 or so years::

    ... errr... No.

Pass the cheese and a clean glass, I sense a good number of "vintages" coming up in the future. Cheers!

(Oh... and thank you, Cryptic for caring enough interests to listen.)
