After a bit of thought over how I'd like some art for my characters and considering that I've begun to amass a bit of wealth from my time off the game in the working world I've decided that now is about the time to start considering commissions. However I'm really not sure where to start, or rather I want to start somewhere specific and go from there.

Y'see as much as I'd like to get some beautifully rendered full color comic book style pieces from professional level artists I don't really want to hand them just fuzzy screen shots that I took who knows when. Rather I've been thinking that I should start simple, a reference guide of my characters.

While not really all that challenging for someone to do, its a very important step I think if I'm going to be buying art. Problem is I don't know anyone who'd do reference guides exclusively, I mean I'd be willing to pay, I just don't want to front massive amounts for something that's going to be seen mainly only by other artists.

So I'm at a bit of crossroads, and I'm hoping that one of the fine artsy types on this subforum might be able to help my artnoob self and point me in a direction. So how about it? Any leads?

My joke characters were always more interactive than visual. I believe that if I can find some old screenshots when I get home that I shall definately supply.

Basically the first one I did was a mock up of the City Representive in Atlas Park. Around the time that Capes were introduced I made her with the battle cry: 'No Cape for You' and I'd just stand around City Hall for a while and scream at any characters that came up to me.

Then I made Newspaper Boy when the Newsboy/Girl Badge came out. He'd basically just stand around Atlas Park and listen in on heroes conversations, whenever someone would say something in local he'd yell in broadcast: "Extree! Extree! So and So says Such and such."

Other than that I think the only other Joke character I have is Dr. Blonde which I still have and can post screenies of later.

Interesting, I shall edit this post with awesomeness once I return home from work.

I don't see how MA will change much, the only power I could see potentially changing would be Cobra Strike, even that I think is a right handed strike.

I just want to know how well I did. Oh well I'll just wait I suppose.

Tch, a Tsuruchi could own all the Hidas with a blindfold over his eyes. Not one handed oddly enough as a bow needs two hands to operate.

I don't know about the rest of the endless hordes but I intend to concecrate the union between AEG and CoH in the making of the CoH card game by making an archery blaster from AEG's most promminant title. Tsuruchi Hideki.
