Call Me Awesome: Thank you for the kind words on Madre Nature's name. When I first joined this past Halloween, I was a bit bummed as it seemed every good name possible had already been taken. But since then, I've learned to be a bit clever, which has allowed me to create Madre Nature (Mother Nature was taken), The Crimson Monocle (The Monocle was taken) and Lady Sumac (Poison Sumac was taken).
SaltyHero13: Thank you for the complete review. After reading it, I took out the Procs in Entangle and the APP Ice Blast. Having a proc in single target powers was always a luxery to help build her single target damage but I think you are right, those slots can best be used elsewhere. I used one to add -Res back to Tornado.
I used the other to add a full EndurRedux to Hurricane. I've tried Hurricane the past few days, and I like it, a lot. But mostly as an emergency power.
So there may be a better place for that second slot.
Because of the way the 47th (which needs six slots) and 49th powers fall in the list, I just don't have a slot open to put an EndurRedux on Ice Armor, without reducing my defense by quite a bit, just not worth it.
I do want to keep the 2 procs in roots. One helps me get recharge set bonus and I think it's worth it for the other one.
Snowstorm I don't know yet. It seems like a good place, as it adds damage where there is none, on an aoe power that could hit a whole lot of NPCs. I will see what I think of it there and then decide.
I also tweeked Creepers just a bit after viewing your build.
What do you think about the synergy between Plant/ and /Rad (Lady Sumac's sets.) */*/Ice seems strong there too with Roots, but does any other APP suggest itself more to go with them? Any and all comments are appreciated on these toons. -
Thank you for the reply. I meant to mention it in the original post, but I think I will have to go with the Endurance alpha on this toon. Recharge doesn't seem to be a huge issue here, so I had hoped to go Damage, but I think Endurance will be a huge issue. If I'm not mistaken, Range also comes with Endurance Alpha? That can only help cones like Seeds of Confusion and Ice Breath.
What do you think of Ice APP for a plant/storm? I was originally gonna go mind for Indom Will but mezzes haven't been a huge issue yet. And she does have the AOE immobilize for Ice Storm.
She seems so far slower and a bit squishier than my Ill/Rad who I was planning /Fire for. But the next six powers she gets are all damage, followed by Ice Armor. So all that can only help.
PS Would you do an Ill/Rad without Fire Shield, taking Consume instead? -
I joined COH for the first time this past Halloween and am loving the game. Of all the ATs I've played so far, Controllers are my favorite, and my two main characters are Illusion/Rad and Plant/Storm. I thought I would post the final build for my Plant/Storm, Madre Nature on Victory, first. I would appreciate any thoughts you had on the build, though I do have specific questions in the post.
These were the 'rules' I tried to follow from reading guides such as the excellent one by Local Man (who I hope will share his thoughts):
1) I tried to be as 'true' as I could to each power, which still getting set bonuses when I could, especially for Recharge (goal was perma-Creepers and perma-Hasten, or close to it)
2) Avoid purples and pvp IOs which would be hard for me to afford as a new player. Expensive regular orange IOs such as Miracle +Recovery I will be getting from Tip Mission rewards. I also avoided using Hammio IOs as I have never done that mission.
3) Use regular IOs unless there is a compelling reason (like a set bonus) to use more expensive invention IOs.
This character will solo and occasionally group, will hopefully be able to aoe farm, but I've also tried to give her a strong single target chain (AVs?)
I also envision her as a mostly long range character.
Specific Questions:
I took Spirit Tree in this final build when I wasn't originally going to, as I have found it very situationally useful while leveling (she is currently 31).
But I gave up Air Superiority to do it, a power I've found wonderful to have. Will I not miss AirS, once I get my APP single target attack, or is AirS a must have to battle AVs? To get both I would have to give up my LotG mule Maneuvers which would reduce my recharge by another couple seconds. Thoughts?
I've already given up Flight to fit everything in the build, but I do love Ninja Run, and Hover fits her concept enough for me.
I read a long post about Creepers to come up with the slotting I did for those specific procs and IOs. The article stated the knockback dmg proc proced the least of the four, so I did not include it.
I have the two procs in Flytrap for when she AOE flings thorns. Another chance for -Res besides Freezing Rain. Would the expensive purple Build-Up be considerably better than either of the two procs here? If so, which would you remove.
I had a fourth slot in tornado, another copy of the -Res proc, for fighting solo AVs. Would that be good for tornado, or a poor slot choice? I took the slot away to fit in Numina's Convalescense + Recovery in Health as I was afraid she was a bit short on Endurance.
There are many powers I would like to put an additional slot or more in, including Sleep (for Task Forces), additional Endurance reduction in Hurricane and Ice Armor, but I did the best I could in what to me seems a slot intensive build.
I would have taken O2 Boost if it were like the heal in /Rad, but since these two sets seem to have enough to keep a newb busy without it, I passed.
I also skipped Thunderclap, which I had originally chosen, as it was a semi-useful power with its Mag 2, plus it needed a lot of slots. Seems a much more useful power for a PermaDom.

I've looked at the APP pools and Fire and Ice appeal to me by far the most, as I would like this character to be good at aoe while also being ok at one-on-one, mostly a solo toon who can occasionally team. I have two builds, one with fire, and one with ice. I also had some specific questions:
1) I'm pretty new to the game, playing less than two months. I love the game. Is one of the two APPs acknowledged 'better' than the other or is it just personal preference. Both builds stress recharge time. The fire build has resistance while the ice build has defense. From reading these boards, it seems defense is much preferred. Does this make it required to take the ice pool? Or can my fire toon be fine with just resistance? Drain Psyche seems to give a massive regen. bonus on a big group.
2) I've tried to avoid listing purple IOs which I wouldn't be able to afford, am working on the oranges via tip missions. I've tried to remain true to the powers as the most important thing, working in set bonuses where I can, often compromising. I could work a recharge bonus into my Phoenix power but I just couldn't commit five slots to it when two is plenty. I also wanted to Frankenslot Ice Storm with more recharge but that give's up global recharge from the set. I've tried to put procs where I think they might be appropriate, without shorting regular damage. About procs, will Carrion Creepers actually proc a Force Feedback for me, to help with my recharge time?
3) The ice pool is a quandry, I so want all five powers, they all seem really great. So it comes down to, which power can I do without? Sleet and Ice Storm seem manditory, as does the defense, so that leaves Hibernate, and Hoarfrost, which is better? Which helps you more?
4) Fire vs. Ice - Basically do you guys think Fireball + Reign of Fire + Fire Shield is better than Sleep + Ice Storm + Ice Shield? For aoe dps for soloing?

Isn't Ill/Rad (any /rad) the controller tthat least needs Indom. Will because it already gets high mez protections from Accelerate Metabolism? So even without PA up wouldn't you be protected from most mezzes?
-
ok, thank you for the info, i guess what I didn't ask correctly was: I'd heard you could avoid the def crash by DOUBLE stacking rage, but had read somewhere that if you TRIPLE stacked it (cast it every 59 seconds) you avoided the other crashes. Even if that's not true, does anyone triple stack rage?
Very new to the game so all help is appreciated -
I'm pretty new to the game, but have found my greatest fun so far with Brutes, Doms, Controllers and Scrappers. I thought I had read somewhere that if you could get your recharge to where Rage recharged in less than sixty seconds that you didn't suffer any down time at all from it?
I managed to do that with this spec while I tried to mostly remain true to all the powers as far as giving them what they needed. Did I gimp him too much by trying for too much recharge?
And he is only fractionally below sixty seconds, maybe a keybind could make that work or maybe not, are their ways to get more recharge that I missed while still staying true to the powers?
Could he farm with footstomp? Could he solo AVs? His Defense is low but I thought WP was mostly about the regen anyway?
I know these IOs cost rediculous amounts of money but I'm told the tip missions and allignment merits are a good answer to getting LotG IOs, etc.

Hi guys,
Thank you for continuing to comment, I dropped the PVP +3 defense, and I had already dropped Maneuvers for Stealth (as MIDs seems to indicate that Stealth and the Stealth IO stack, even though Stealth doesn't stack with Steaming Mist, etc.)
It's pretty clear which are the non-must-haves but I was wondering if you could rank what you thought was the worst to the best of these non essential powers:
Entangle - Do I need it for bossesAVs if I have permadom?
Spirit Tree - I like this tree and wanted it for groups, but just can't seem to fit it in, Drain Psyche makes it uneeded for solo right?
Spore Burst - For Task Forces right?
Psionic Lance - Could you immobolize AVs then shoot this at them, would that keep you out of their range since this is a super long distance sniper shot? (well over 200+ with range)
Rise of the Phoenix - I like the staggering dmg that accompanies this revive, does anyone love this power? -
Every bit of advice is appreciated. I made a lot of toons my first month.
All of them are on Victory server, I just picked one at random. Virtue I've learned since seems to be the rp server which I sort of do.
My @ name is @Jericho Kane, I wanted my first toon, sonic/nrg blaster to be named Jericho but that and every other sound related name I could think of was already taken. I since gotten better at naming but at the time, all I could think of was add another name at the end.
My friend says it sounds when you say it aloud like 'Jerry Cocain' which I did not want. Is there a way to change your @ name?
Some of my other toons are:
Scarlet Sorcerer - Illusion/Rad Controller - fun to play
Madre Nature - Plant/Weather Controller - I love her but she kills so slow
Prince Thorson - Super Strength/Willpower Brute - Son of Thor and the
Enchantress, actually a hero undercover with SHIELD who
is pretending to be a villain
Madam Cho - Katana/Willpower scrapper - formerly ran a brothel for the
Tsoo, she has become a super-hero and never looked back
Crimson Monocle - Illusion/Weather Controller - jaded big brother of
Scarlet Sorcerer, also great fun to play
I'd gotten my best friend to play for this month as well, but now that Catastrophy has hit, he's playing WoW full time again. I'm burned out on WoW though so I'm here to stay! -
PS I just want to thank Zephyrwind and Psylenz very much for replying, it's really nice to get feedback and I want you both to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to do that.
If you see any other super high buck I/Os let me know. Thank you. -
I think the numbers on Melt Armor looked kind of bleh to me, I think Thermal gets a much better one than the APP pool gets?
I do plan to solo a lot and am far (far, far, far) from perfect, but learn something great about the game every day. Like last night on my Katana/ Willpower scrapper, Madam Cho, who is much hardier than I ever thought she would be, and who will get her best defensive power when she levels again and hits sixteen. I discovered just how damn good Air Superiority was on a melee toon. I was able to entertain myself for quite a while just bouncing orange enemies around the map. Would this Dom be gimped without Air Sup, for battling AVs?
I replaced Obliteration in Shockwave with a yellow set, stats went from:
15.6 Endurance down to 13
6.4 sec recharge up to 6.9
143.8 accuracy up to 149
and 173.7 dmg down to 168
Losses don't seem too bad going from a high money orange set to a yellow one and I even gained on accuracy/endurance.
Hopefully taking out both Obliteration sets, the Miracle and the Numinas saved a lot of Inf. Here is the new version:

Thank you both for your imput, I didn't know some of the receipes I used were that expensive (other than the LotG) but I think I can do without Miracle and Numina's, though I would of course be putting all my eggs in the Drain Psyche basket lol
I can certainly do without Obliteration in Phoenix, its just there for the recharge, but I think I can have permadom without oblit in either of the two places I used it. Positron's is so light on Recharge in its set that it shouldn't be expensive lol
Maybe I will do Melt Armor instead of Phoenix, since I can slot LotG in it, does anyone have anything to say about either of those, anyone love Phoenix, or love Melt Armor?
Is Resistance as good to have for a toon as Defense? -
Hi, I am pretty new to City of Heroes, been playing a little over a month, and I love the game! I've tried a bunch of different ATs and power sets.
I've come to love Super Strength, Weather Control, Illusion, and Plants, most especially Plants. I've played a bit with Plant Controllers but I think maybe the control/damage of Doms might be better for me than the control/support of Controllers. Not sure yet, but I really want to try.
Being a new player I tried to make this build at least realistic, inf money wise. As a new player, I don't have a lot, so I didn't put in a single purple enhancement, and only used one PVP enhancement in the whole build.
Someone told me that after four days of doing allignment-reaffirming tip missions, you can get a Luck of the Gambler enhance. so that's why I included them. Does anyone see any expensive enhancements in this build that can't be purchased in this way?
I intend this build mostly for soloing, some duoing with a friend, but to be not team-unfriendly if called upon. Also to be able to large spawns (farm?) to help me get inf to IO my other toons I like. But also to hopefully be able to take down at least the easier AVs on her own, if it's possible for this AT. I am starting him in the neutral Praetoria area (my first toon there) as I see this Dom as more of a hero. I have Ninja Run and many of the other expansion packs as I just love this game.
This will be a plants/psi/fire toon I think unless anyone thinks that is a really bad combo. I chose Psi because of Drain Psyche as stamina is often an issue with toons I create. I chose fire APP because it seemed to have good AOES and armor. I also looked at the ice APP pool but fire seemed to fit better for me.
I see this toon as mostly ranged, swooping in occasionally to Drain Psyche or Shockwave, so Mind Probe was the only power I took off the table right away, all the others from both sets seemed at least situationally useful.
But to achieve permadom without purples, I had to lose some powers to fit in Luck of the Gambler mule powers. I gave up Air Superiority for Hover, etc. Here is what I came up with:

The set doesn't have a lot of defense but I was working hard at trying to fit in as much recharge as possible to get permandom. Does the lack of defense gimp it? It doesn't have perma-hasten with no purple sets, should I go recharge with the new Alpha slot, or damage or something else?
I had originally dropped sleep but then someone said it's useful on certain task or strike forces as evidentally AVs can be slept or immobilized a lot easier than they can be held, stunned or confused. Is that true?
I originally had Strangler two slotted with Lockdown and was happy with it, but four Bask. Gaze gives me needed recharge.
My main single target chain would be Mental Blast and Subdue. If they are immune to Psi dmg I have Entangle/Strangle.
My aoe would be some combo of Shockwave, Psychic Scream, Fireball, Rain of Fire, etc. etc.
I know self rez powers aren't super popular, but I think Phoenix would work for me. If I find out I don't need it at all, I could always take Melt Armor for another LotG.
My pet Venus Flytrap may need the most help, he's really Frankenslotted, but MIDS didn't have any info on how much dmg he does, etc. I read that putting recharge in him is good online, so I did. But I don't know how much of a defense debuff he does. Is the extra def debuff there good, or is his original debuff too small to be worth buffing? Also is the -Resist proc in him good, or should I take that out to save a slot.
I think my Sleep could use more accuracy so if I can save a slot in the pet, that's where it would go. Is Sleep a dumb power to keep, or is it worth it just for those special multi-boss occasions?
Can this build take on bosses without Air Superiority? If it can't, what should I drop to get it, Sleep? Entangle, so I can keep sleep?
I put procs in my AOEs when their damage was full, and I didn't need the last slot for Recharge or Range.
I know some of my global accuracies duplicated above five, but I was getting recharge from those powers to get Permadom.
Any thoughts, praises or condemnations are appreciated by this new but hooked player.
Rich -
Bump so someone can critique for him. I am new and will be posting my first dom build soon.
-
Thank you again for all the awesome advice. I thought my problems were solved when I saw a raptor pack on sale at Pocket D for 10k inf but then I noticed it only lasted 2 minutes instead of two hours.
I have what seems like a lot of inf to me as a starter player, about 24 mill inf, mostly from winning costume contests under Atlas (I love my designs and spend way too long making them but it's fun!) but looking on the auction house, that's just a fraction of what I see one receipe (the stealth one) going for, so that was kind of a bummer lol Do Stealth IOs also cost only two days of alignment missions?
take care,
Rich -
Thank you grouchy, I didn't know that, there is a lot I still don't know being new. Can regular merits be mailed from one toon to another? My villains seem to get a lot more than my heroes
I tried to mail a Raptor pack from one toon that didn't need it but had it, to another who needed it but didn't know about it til after level ten, but that didn't seem to work.
Thank you for your help,
Rich
PS I just read in another thread about recharge from the alpha slot so maybe that will help me get perma hasten as well, is there a recharge/dmg alpha combo? -
Hi,
I've been playing coh about a month now. If I did it right this is my Plant/Storm build. This isn't a question about powers, but more about if any of these IOs would be so high in price a new toon would never be able to afford them? Or also if any of the choices don't make any sense. Like I have one purple, the pet chance for build up.
I thought at first the tornado would have a chance for build-up all sixty times it did damage, but then I read it only checks every ten seconds, if that's true it hardly seems worth it?
I tried to be true to each power, giving those used a lot more slots (when needed) and emergency powers like sleep and thunderclap fewer slots, while still trying to gain decent set bonuses, endur recovery, some recharge, dmg and accuracy. If anyone has any suggestions for how to add more recharge on the cheap, I'm sure I couldn't afford luck of the gamblers, or PVP or purple sets.
I see this toon as mostly solo, duoing occasionally, teaming rarely, and trying to be well rounded to take out both groups (farming?) and maybe an AV with tornado.
Hopefully I did this right, it's short form fruit salad.

Thank you for your help stating the PVP sets are listed after the purple ones and also the names Panacea and Gladiator, I took all those out and substituted with Positron's and some Yellows. I tried to get a lot of recovery, some recharge, some extra dmg and some accuracy.
If I did it right this is my build. This isn't a question about powers, but more about if any of these IOs would be so high in price a new toon would never be able to afford them? Or also if any of the choices don't make any sense. Like I have one purple, the pet chance for build up.
I thought at first the tornado would have a chance for build-up all sixty times it did damage, but then I read it only checks every ten seconds, if that's true it hardly seems worth it. Also, does it build up the pet, or you, or both? Hopefully I did this right, it's short form fruit salad.

Thank you all for the replys. I had heard PVP sets were as expensive as purples, but I didn't know the Javelin sets were PVP. Is there a way on mids to know what is PVP, or did I just miss something way obvious? I'm not a pvp person at all. So there's no range set enhancements in PVE? Is Positron's set PVE or PVP?
I love this game, LOVE the character creator! I've created almost a dozen toons and these are my favorites:
Madre Nature - my main, Plants/Weather controller
The Crimson Monocle - Illusion/Weather controller
The Scarlet Sorcerer - Illusion/Radiation controller
Lady Sumac - Plants/Radiation Controller - Poison Ivy's more dangerous sister lol
Madam Cho - Katana/WP scrapper - she is tough and deadly
Prince Thorson - SS/WP brute
I really like the Plant, Illusion, Weather and Super Strength sets, though all my toons are still under level twenty.
Toons that seem very fragile to me are Capacitator, my electric/shield scrapper, he doesn't seem to do great dmg either so I am thinking of deleting him to make a Plant/Mental dom.
Hellspite, my spines/fire scrapper seems to do decent dmg but is fragile too, so that soloing he has to pull yellow mobs one at a time with his starter ranged temp power, rather than just wading into three of them as Madam Cho is able. I do like his fire aura dmg. and can't wait to have the spines aura with it!
Thank you for all the kind comments and that u can have good chrs w/o sets. I will try to post a build soon so I can get thoughts on its cost. I have about 20 mill inf from winning costume contests in Atlas, which seems like a lot to me starting out but I know is less than nothing in the IO set economy.
Any sets of powers or combos you just love? I looked at kinetics but it just seems not right for me.
Rich
@Jericho Kane on Victory -
I've only had COH for about a month, but I enjoy using MIDS to plan my future IO set purchases, I just got new MIDS for I19 (out today and not easy to get for Vista owners) and was looking at my hopeful future set bonuses and I noticed a major change!
I had used five of the Javeline sets (single and aoe ranged dmg) because among other things they listed range bonus for two set items and recharge bonus for all six set items. Now neither is there any more!
A) Did I19 nerf the Javalin IO sets that hard?
B) Was it an error in old Mids that it said they had them when they never did?
C) Is it just an error in I19 mids that they aren't listed?
for example, mids 18 listed both endur recovery and range for 2, both accuracy and recharge for 6. I19 mids just lists recovery for 2 and just accuracy for 6. I am hoping it is C above. I lost most of the recharge I had planned since as a new player I'm sure I won't be able to afford purples.
Take care,
Rich

PS I love this game! Wish I had bought it five years ago instead of WoW! -
Hi Fury,
Wonderful post. I am very new to the game, only been playing a week or so. I tried Katana/WP, Spines/WP scrappers and Sonic/Energy blaster and like them all. I saw this thread and Electric/SD speaks to me. I also really like your moderate build.
I was wondering how you would update it now that you have three more spaces with the fitness pool soon becomming mainline. Especially, what powers would you add to help make Electric more able to do SV like fire does. (Fire just doesn't seem to interest me.)
Would you add Charged Brawl, Jacobs Ladder, Grant Cover, maybe Melt Armor to help reduce an AV defenses? Any leadership powers? (Assualt seems way underpowered?) I hope you are still playing Fury and see this.
Take care,
Rich -
I just wanted to thank everybody for contributing to the post. I am trying different toons and having a lot of fun. I am on Victory server and Jericho Kane is my sonic/energy blaster, Harrowthorn is my thorns/WP and Madam Cho is my katana/WP. I will be trying my illusions/rad controller Gideon Blade next.

I'm a totally new player to COH, but I've burned out on WoW after playing it for years and leading a guild for most of that time, and I always wanted to try this game, so here I am! I don't have the Going Rogue yet. I bought Architech as it was cheap to see if I liked the game. I do!
I studied the boards and MIDS first a bit to see what kind of ATs I might like, and since I wanted to stay far away from melee this time (Warrior in WoW), I decided to try a Sonic/Energy blaster and an Illusion/Radiation controller. I've started Jericho Kane the blaster first, and would appreciate any feedback on this potential spec., with which I want to mostly solo but be viable for teaming as well.
Level One: Shreik, Power Thrust
A no brainer to take Shreik from Sonic and Power Thrust from Energy. When I was first looking at Secondary power sets, I liked the Immobilize that Ice got more than Power Thrust from Energy, but in actual play, the Knockback from Power Thrust has been helpful to get melee off me. The last thing I want to be is a blapper.
Level Two: Scream
Again, a bread and butter power for sonic.
Level Three: I was going to start slotting accuracies in the above ranged powers but the melee person I was playing with recommended slotting three damage first on damage powers and that seems to be working ok for now.
Level Four: Build-Up vs. Howl = Howl
I had originally planned to tank Build Up for more dps, but the person I was teaming with recommended Howl, and in practice, it's actually worked out quite well. I had originally planned to take it around ten (more on that theorey in a moment) but with his melee getting agro on a whole group, my howl then weakens them all to take more damage from him.
Level Six: Hover
I hit level six last night and grabbed Hover right away, and am very happy I did. It's nice to be airbourne. Plus I've read its crucial for ranged blasters to stay out of melee.
Level Eight: Shockwave
My theorey for Shockwave and Howl is to go airbourne over a group with Hover, Shockwave them using it for Knockdown from above rather than knockback, then Howl them all. Though I've seen some lists that recommend avoiding both, this should work I would think.
Level Ten: Shout
My third single target blast, very powerful, a must have.
Level Twelve: Build-Up vs. Hasten = Hasten
Hasten seems a very important ability to have slotted with three recharge, better to take it here or wait til 16 and take Build-Up here.
Level Fourteen: Flight
Is Hover good enough to wait on Flight for a few more levels so I can get Build-Up and Aim/Amplify sooner, or do I want Flight the second I can get it?
Level Sixteen: Build-Up
Long delayed but I really am not sure I can give up any of the earlier ones to get it sooner. If you think so give me specifics please.
Level Eighteen: Siren's Song
Probably the key power of the sonic set, can't wait for it.
Level Twenty: Aim/Amplify vs. Stealth vs. Air Superiority = Amplify
At what levels do you start finding flying enemies? Seems Air Superiority would be crucial at that point for a guy who wants to HoverBlast his enemies? Would Stealth ever be useful on this AT, I think I read something about "glowies" missions? Not sure what that is.
You'll notice no Stamina/Fitness by 20, as I created this spec thinking I19 was already in the game, which it sadly isn't yet. Hopefully it will be by the time I level that far on both toons.
You may also notice by now that I am avoiding every melee talent in the /Energy tree, even the final one, Total Focus. Though if someone can answer one question, in some guides I see it listed as Mag 4, while Mid has it as Mag 3, did it used to be higher and then got lowered?
I take Screens, Power Boost, Dreadful Wail and Boost Range as soon as they become available.
That leaves four slots and five possible powers before the Ancillary Pool. Air Superiority, Stealth, Conserve Power and Assault and Tactics from the Leadership Pool. Which of those four seem best for a ranged, hovering blaster. Can you rank them as most useful to least useful in case I do decide to take Total Focus or even Bone Crusher?
For the Ancillary Pool, I like Fire. It gives me a third type of damage besides energy/smashing.
41) Char - gives me a true Hold in addition to Sleep and Disorient
44) Bonfire - My hope is that if I cast this down onto a group (while hovering) after Shockwave/Howl, they will take massive damage as the knockback becomes knockdown and they are trapped in the damage. Does that sound plausible? A third AOE usable like that would be great.
47) Rise of the Phoenix - A self rez every three minutes that does tremendous damage and stuns foes, in WoW this would be beyond solid gold, sign me up!
49) Fire Shield - Got this after Rise of the Phoenix as this seems to need less slots (3) compared to Phoenix (5).
I also wanted to ask, does COH have an online place like WoW's Armory, where friends can see the heroes I've designed? It seems crazy for a game not to have something like that but I've not been able to find it for COH.
Thanks for your help guys, take care,
Rich
