Happy Birthday!
Also: where can I get the CoH font and what is it called?
EDIT: nevermind, I found it - font is RedCircle -
Young Justice is a fantastic series. I initially figured by the title it would be a silly kid superhero show like Teen Titans, but oh, how wrong I was. It's right up there with the Justice League series if not better. Avengers is enjoyable but Young Justice trumps it. Green Lantern is very, very focused on kids.

Quote:Oh... haha, yeah I know - I didn't take it as such. I spend a good chunk of my day on YT and watch very little television in comparison. And I didn't mean it as a dig against her when I said I'd never heard of her.
Hehe, I wouldn't be able to name a single video game reviewer or YT correspondent... Other than JayboH, of course!
I just included it to represent my own situation coming into it blindly, as it were.
EDIT: *Energyone, of course... haha, I guess I failed entirely!
As for me, yeah I just do what interests me most of the time and wish I could be partnered like they all seem to be - but through another company - not YT itself.
As far as TV goes, I'm mostly into Hell on Wheels, Alphas, Franklin & Bash, and then you've got occasional Avengers/Young Justice - kinda disappointed how they handled Green Lantern The Animated Series.
By the way, any ideas for a celebratory video as I am about to hit 1 million views? -
She's been getting bigger and bigger on YT - she's one of Husky's friends/roommates (the famous Starcraft caster.)

Stated on Twitter but I will say it here too: Happy Anniversary!
also: my wife and I have been playing this game together longer than we have been married - 7 yrs -
Probably be talking to players and filming stuff for Youtube.

The combat pacing meshed well with response time/lag where it didn't matter so much in the long run. I get what you are saying though.

It was designed from the beginning to not require a subscription. They purposely crafted the game to not have one.

Quote:Yep - and I remember my SG being excited when I hit 14 and took superspeed, since I already had recall friend. Taxibot was in high demand. Here's another for my fellow oldbies:
Remember when it was easy to run out of missions in the late 30s, unless you were careful and/or made sure to team a lot? (Back then, the only way to get missions was from contacts... and when they were all done, it was street grinding the rest of the way to 40. Couldn't exemp down and run with lowbies, 'cause that gave no xp.) -
Video of the news is up. Again, this is also more for subscribers getting it via different outlets, etc.

Quote:Yeah it's pretty fun. My wife plays a berserker and I play an engineer... but this isn't about the bedroom...Gotta laugh at the guy screaming against posting in a thread while posting in a thread.
Torchlight 2 for $20 on steam? Guess I'll grab it tonight.

Quote:Do you have a link to this review? I would love to see it.I would suggest those into non-standard WoW clone MMOs check out GW2, it really is different. The thing that originally sold me on the game was a negative review by a WoW fanboy listing everything he hated about it... and I liked everything on the list.
.....
Also, here I take a first look at Torchlight 2 today, for those curious.
My wife and I have had quite a bit of fun with it already - and the game is so cheap - it just launched last week I think. -

I commented when it was originally posted but I want to say it here too: awesome vid.

His list just shows his lack of knowledge and experience with the game, that's for sure. I agree though, glad to see these people go - the ones with 'gotta be x/x or else you are useless' types of attitudes who complain about tiny buttons even though there is a dedicated slider in the game that can increase button size.

Quote:Awesome - enjoy.Lisa runs up to Biowraith and gives him/her a big Texas hug.
Your obvious question to me a bullseye.
Sunday, when I tried to get the Client (.exe file) to run, I did try to turn off the firewall as I remembered dimly having to do something similar due to AVG not playing nicely in one of the COH betas, but I guess I did not succeed Sunday, because, this morning, after reading this, I tried my hand once again at turning off the AVG firewall.
After turning it off, I went and downloaded the client again, held my breath and poked "RUN" then did a fist pump as I watched the great download begin
This right here is an example of a stellar community...when people who are having problems with the obvious are not jeered for asking....and people who help are not condescending.
Thank you, thank you, thank you

Quote:Speaking of which, is it Nvidia's fault for our PhysX bugs?Fair enough, and it does indeed all depend on how much stuff you are including. Continuing education is important, especially as new technologies/advancements in current tech arises. Need to stay on the ball here (hell going from OpenGL 2 to OpenGL 4 requires a bit re-education).
And chances are that there are also similar things for Nvidia and ATI to attend as well. -
Quote:Yeah even I had to change some stuff to get it to download properly - weird, but I got it straight from the source and haven't had a problem since.Apologies if this is an obvious question (though you do say CoH was the only video game you'd played, so maybe not), but have you made sure your firewall is set to allow GW2 access? If everything else is connecting fine but GW2 is acting like you're offline that would seem the most likely explanation.
