It wasn't a debatable point, it was a statement of factual intent MMs relative HP surpasses Tanker HP anyway and I'm sure their resistance/defense values come close (ala Bodyguard mode)

While I'll add that my brutes are played to be more tanker-like than my MMs, they're also significantly more scrapper-like (read: they can kill things with speed regardless of which primary) than tanker-like.

It was intended that MMs = Tanks as stated by a redname so there's no arguing it

It took Task Force Speed 5:10:29 to complete, with 2 Tank, 2 Controllers, 2 Defenders (though 1 dropped) and 1 Blaster (who also dropped). I like the name... so fitting

If they couldn't solo on villainous, you'd have a point, but not being to solo on relentless is just tough cookies / bad building / bad playing / too much sauce (delete as applicable)

I always slot my attacks for Acc and EndRdx pre-SOs and it works rather well.

AFAIK, bosses are meant to be tough for most ATs... not that they are, but they're supposed to be

It's that old "what makes a hero" thing.

Batman is a natural hero, he doesn't need his gadgets to bust heads and can still "do his thing" in a tux.

Iron Man is a technology hero. Without his suit, he's just a rich bloke... in a tux.

So, while SoAs are natural villains, there's nothing to stop them making themselves a little more super with a few gadgets.

On a more serious note, this has been suggested many times in many different guises. It would probably be too much work and a complete nightmare to balance, although it would be rather nice to have your own signature power... until someone found the "best" one and everyone took it.

Thing is, reading the thread, most posters disagree that his NW build is optimised so it could be a skewed comparison.

The male/female only thing was due to time constraints, IIRC. For example, there are female Wolf Spiders in the CoV Collector's Edition art book.
