Hello all.
I was so lucky as to get my main hero to lvl 50 today (Thank you all for your kind congratulations)! Now, with the kheldians open, I have of course thought about some background and build outing for my PB, who is gonna be an all-human build and tri-form build (this will be done later). I have had some trouble building it, so please give me some help.

Granted, i think in many ways Dark Armor's tier 9 comes close to being what could reasonably be called a 'def nuke'. Autohit mag 30 stun FTW.
Granted, sorry 4 repeating, Dark Amour's Tier 9 comes close to a def nuke, but think about Fiery Aura's Tier 9. This *is* an actual nuke, as it gives hell-of-a-lotta damage as well as KB and stunning. Lovely. -

God, how weird! I played with a scrapper today, who stated that he hated the set because it gave barely no def dbuff res what so ever.
But since I've found people that like WP, would you guys think it'd be a good Tanker primary 4 fire? -
Ive been playing CoH 4 some time now, b4 I11 respectively, and i dont undrstand, why is it that so many ppl "hate" WP? I myself think it's a nice set, as it delivers the usual res, possibly a lil weak without SoW, a mezz prot, a def, a def nuke, a taunting aura (which is in my opinion cool as it is very unique), and then it has some special cookies (reg, rec, rez!)...
The thing i dont get is why other ppl dont like it... What things about this powerful will is it that im skipping? -
Strange indeed! All of the abovementioned situations I have experienced too! The hold=not-atk effect i witnessed when i was teaming with a blaster getting held by the malta lieut robot gas missile-thingy, where the issue was the inability to attack.
The KB I have witnessed on other AT's than just the blaster, for example on my fire/fire brute: he gets hit with KB, stands still, can't attack until a short time after. I think these are some of the bugs, the devs haven't yet repaired that just spawns once in a while. -
I have had problems with Mids too, but it's not about the acceptance of I16. It's more of a question about the basics. About Body Mastery for scrappers, what's the rule about energy torrent, about how to take it I mean. I know you must take 2 powers before taking it, but if I take conserve power and physical perfection i cant take energy torrent. How come?

Pardon the noob asking :P but what is meant by Tanking Tuesday, as in what is happening on those days, and is it spread to ALL servers, and not just the American?

And about budget, I have no idea how expensive anything is, but it is technically possibl to get them yourself, instead of buying them. -
Allow me to ask, DS, but why did you put the Res' in the very end of the build? Furthermore, I never think about my budget, as I consider money a matter of time, which is also the reason I don't really like to put purps or Hami-O's in my builds, as they're tough getting, and people rarely think I should have them.

Chief Soldiers at 50 or above hit REALLY hard with those big chunks of jagged metal they carry around. With no resistance they can easily kill you in 2 or 3 swings if they get lucky and land them all. I've had it happen on my regen before.
Btw, I've finished re-editing the build, but I don't understand why it is so 'tough' to get my s/l res capped, please have a look.

Thanks 4 all the advices, I'm gonna re-edit the build tomorrow, but I'm thinking, about what ackwards said, this toon is mostly hanging out in RWZ, so I'm not that awfully concerned about s/l res, although reaching the cap would b very nice. And since I've mentioned, any advice that'll ease the pain of NRG atks from rikti?
Oh, and btw, theheat mentioned I might wanna loos FA. I slot FA with Gaussian's BU proc, which is the reason I have chosen it. -

So, I was playing an ITF on my MA/Inv scrap, and something happened. I kept faceplanting!! One of my teammates thought it might b cuz of missing def, which is certainly plausible, since my base def with invincibility and combat jumping is about 5-6 positional. My biggest def point is S/L, with 17 % each. My thought was, HELP ME! I expect to get tough hide put in somewhere, I just don't know where. Considering, will I need Resist Elements over tough hide?
I'll show ya'll my build so ya can try re-editing, or just counseling me. Please help me!

Amen to this! It would be so nice if we could give our weapons auras, just like the nictus sword. I'm not sure if this would be wanted on Assault Rifles, although I won't say no to th opportunity already, but all the other weapons would awesome if they could get auras! It'd fit a lot of themed characters so good to have a burning/thundering/smoking etc. weapon by their side!

I'd definitely recommend tough - I noticed in your mids you have strength of will toggled on which distorts your actual resistance numbers a lot. It's actually a 300 second recharge that isn't affected by hasten or recharge bonuses.
I'd dump the epic - you've already got a long attack chain, though the hold would be nice since you won't have any way of disabling a target. That said I don't remember the epic holds being anything worth writing home about. Frankly until the addition of physical perfection I've never had any use for the scrapper epics, but to each his own. Enjoy leveling your toon.
About the very additional pools, other than fitness and travel ofc, I usually don't take the other pools, as there are so many powers in the primary and secondary powersets, so I always leave the fighting pool away from my builds, which also leaves the way for more powers. Though, one of my other characters I'm planning is gonna have tough/weave, so maybe that'll change my mind.
And about the epics, both ancillery and patron powers, I think they're awesome! I love the thought, that a scrapper for example can get holds and ranged attacks, although his main job is to kick *** on the bad guys. -

If it were me I'd also dump the epic for tough/weave too - you're at 34 resist to s/l with basically no defense. To-hit debuff helps a lot but I'd feel safer with some more damage mitigation on top of it. Again, personal preference on all this. -
Need some help re-editing the build:
1. Should health hav 3 regen tissue (+regen bonus) or 3 numina's?
2. I think I'll remove ToF and Dark consump, and dump ToF, as requestd, sp, what power shud i get at lvl 49? -
