It is because of Blue Steel that my first character within City of Heroes had to be called Blue Iron, which died at level 11 (prior to Issue 1).

During the 2xp RtR 3 runs, I had a blast on my lvl 49-50 blaster.

As soon as I received the email notice of "The Wedding Pack" I went to the NCSoft link and purchased it for both of my accounts.

Why?

Especially after receiving 10 free patches/game updates?

I LIKE this game.

I may never use "The Wedding Pack" features, but I have been in many instances in the last 45 months of celebrations (anyone hitting 50), parties (someone returning to game), and even 2 or 3 weddings (before we had even jackets).

Another reason to buy it? It's another 90 cents (less markup costs) that goes to the actual developers of the game.

I LIKE this game, it is a great stress reliever, very good community, and an interesting way to spend some nights.


Plus....even though I do not have female characters, that wedding dress is just so nice.


Just on the wedding dress itself, Jay or whomever, should be given Kudos and rewards.

It will still take over 34 Million XP to make level 50.

Being the geek I am, I graphed out the current XP curve (lvl 1 to 50) and on a logarithmic scale it is a pretty flat curve.

It is the point where the minions/lieutenants/bosses XP value did not rise to the level of the character that it became a "grind".

I see this as a good thing, and with Posi's reasoning behind it (via datamining) it makes a good change.

The one thing I question tho, he said they datamined how long characters were at certain levels. Could this info have been skewed by alt-itis? I know when I hit 22-27 range, I usually start another alt and run them for a while. Or even partake in a FOTM build.

Speaking as a Defender/Controller/Scrapper/Blaster.....

If your group is established, ask your coalition partners.

My hero group has coalitioned with 10 other groups. Sure, we might share accounts between the two or three, but the characters could do creation to bring up ranks.

Also, check with the forums....I'm pretty sure there is "come on in, grab a chair, and wait till we get the cash" groups out there that will be asking for people.
