My last computer had issues but it got solved with updated drivers to everything that required drivers but like you said you have already tried that.
As for trying games.. Maybe try Home of the Underdogs or some such abandonware site and prove to the guy that even ancient games crashes the computer.

As I'm only playing on Guardian and have just been reading the Rude Tells thread I'd say Guardian is the Rude Tells free server. Almost.

Apparently, you don't receive Inf for crafted IOs but only ones that you can buy from a vendor. This is not a problem in and of itself but I feel cheated because the calculation in that window showing how much Inf I was going to receive did not reflect this.
I think that it should plainly state exactly how much Inf you will really receive and not give a false amount.
I now have a level 50 Dominator with no enhancements and no Inf. I am not pleased with this situation.

When I build a character I'm usually thinking CoH rather than superhero generalities. That is I'm thinking in game terms rather than comicbook terms. The end result is a character I like with the "correct" power picks more or less.
Once or twice the character concept makes me drop a power or two. Like my fire blaster don't have breath of fire since that, in my mind, doesn't fit the concept.
Does this make me a powergamer more than a RPGer? Probably not but it makes me a CoH gamer more than a comicbook emulator. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
