  1. Sewer team!
    #222733
    Level 5-12

This is my attempt to simulate the Atlas Park sewer team experience for villains thru the AE. It's got pretty good feedback so far but I'd like more feedback as to anyway I can make it feel even more like a real sewer team. It will auto Sk any under lvl 5 to lvl 5 and it's set up to spawn higher level enemies the further you get into the sewer map. I recomend setting your difficulty on Malicious (2nd level) It obviously works best with 8 man teams. There is also a little surprise at the end. Thanks for any feedback in advance.
  2. Sounds fun...whats the #?
  3. Hey Khasei, get a life bro. Move out of your mom's basement, get a girlfriend, and leave me be. If it isn't stalking what would you call it? Sending me ingame tells harrassing me, telling how your gonna roast me on the forums? Then tracking my posts on the forums and posting right after me making up [censored]. Seriously dude, what is wrong with you? Did I kick you from a team once and now you have some psycho vendetta? Just bugger off bro.

To everyone else, I think I have the arc pretty well tweaked. I rolled a brute and formed an 8 man team of lvl 2s and 3s. We ran it 3 times and it took us all to around lvl 7. It's not the fastest way to get XP, but it's quick enough and lots of fun. It definetly feels like an Atlas PArk sewer team. The only real difference are the enemies. I used a mixture of Hellions, Skulls, Lost, and Outcast. There a few patrols of snakes, and at the end you run into....well I won't ruin it on the forums, but it has been pretty fun so far. It's simply called Sewer team! and the # is 222733. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
  4. Quit being a wierdo stalker dude...seriously. If you don't like my arc...good for you. Stop stalking in the forums and ingame.

Oh, and quit trying to say The Covenant of Blade and Blood is a farm. It has detailed charcters and an actual storyline, not to mention Kins and EBs. It is too hard for most to even handle....it's obviously not a farm and I don't appreciate spreading lies about me or my arcs.
  5. Couldn't help but put a little story to go with it, even though the main idea is just to reproduce the feel of an Atals sewer team. You have to destroy canisters containing a virus that the baddies are attemtoing to release in the sewers to contaminate the cities water supply.

I couldn't help but put some low level hero sewer teams in there also. They are just as surprised to see you.
  6. Ok....it's 222733. Please try it out with your lowbie villains. I recomend leaving your difficulty on easy and forming teams between lvls 1-7. Of course 8 man teams our the best. I'd love to get some feedback.
  7. Well I have it going but I'm still tweaking it. I have it set up as a 5-10 mission so everyone gets SK'd to at least lvl 5. Thought this would help with people being to low and not getting XP. Teams can now be formed from lvls 1-7.

It feels very close to a hero sewer team so mission accomplihsed there. I really like the idea of running into a hero sewer team, so I'm working on that. Gotta get some good costumes and dialogue. I'll post the AE# once I'm happy with it.
  8. I was going to make a virtual sewer team mission for villains to use. Basicly Skulls in the front, Lost in the back of one of the huge sewer maps. It's great way to get from lvl 1-10. Always wanted a villain version of the Atlas park sewer teams My question is, does it already exist? Has someone already made a good virtual sewer team on the AE?
  9. I had a similar idea of the OP, but simpler. At least I think it's simpler. It's actually a altered version of a few different ideas I've seen all crammed together.

You'd still use the toggle idea to add different affects, but you would get three different toggles from one power called Ammo Diversification. One toggle would add Fire DoT and KB to your attacks, one would add cold damage and a slow effect to your attacks, and one would add toxic damage with a -resistance affect.

As I mentioned you'd get all three toggles from one power choice, but you can only run one toggle at a time. Turning one on automaticly would turn another one off. Sorta how turning on Combat jumping automaticly turns off Super Leaping and vice versa. This method would allow you to easily switch ammo (switch toggles) on the fly to best fit every situation.

As far as the slotting issue, you could slot each toggle to increase it's effect like Knockback or debuff, but not increase the damage. Only the lethal damage in the actual attacks could be increased thru slotting enhancments.

Side notes: The animation for turning on a toggle could have you hold out both arms and you ammo clip fall from your pistols, then cross your arms tucking your pistols under your armpits for a brief second. It would just need to be a very fast animation that grounds you.

If there is any way to make your attacks have different visual effects for each toggle, this idea would be golden. Having your bullets cause explosions and fire on your target for example when the Fire/KB toggle is on. This is probably considered power customization though and is not possibly.....not really sure.

I have 2 out of 3 of my missions done for my Arc, and would like to get some feedback before moving on the the 3rd and final mission. I'm looking for any feedback from spelling and grammer errors, to overall enjoyment and fun factor. The # is 214935. Thank you.

To be honest with you, I ran for the nearest exit as soon as I saw the enemies. I'm level 50 and had to deal with level 54Purples.... all luets. Not my idea of fun at all. Plus from what I saw there were alot of spelling errors. Wasn't feeling it there dude.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I can understand that. The arc is definetly for true lvl 50s that want a challenge. While the mobs are very hard in the first mish, all being lvl 54 Lieuts....I made them Lieuts instead of bosses cause I want them to be beatable. The idea of the whole first mish is to make people wanna use stealth, the contact even says you'll need to use stealth to accomplish your mission. I suppose I could make them 52 or 53 and still get the point accross, I just really want people to NOT want to fight those guys in the first mission...but not have them be unbeatable.
  11. Every WP toon I make gets Health/Stamina/Tough/Weave. Can't think of any other pool that would be worth skipping these powers for.

Why do you want hasten on a WM/WP? Just curious.

    Brute or Tank?

I'll tell you what though, if the devs ever make SS a Scrapper set, they'll have me for life (Guys? You reading this? ).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Funny, I feel the same way about Claws for Brutes.
  14. VEATs are a bit of a pain in the [censored] untill 24. Once you respec at 24 they really start to come alive. Untill then you just have to deal with it and try to get good teams alot. Just know that later on you'll be able to carry a bad team.
  15. I'm working on a mission right now that makes you use stealth. The critters are custom, they all look the same as they are suppose to be the newest generation of PPD cyber units. There are four different types, but they are all lvl 54 Lieutenants. Their power sets combine to make it very hard to beat a sqaud of them.

The mission goal is to destroy an object. It's the main AI data center to shut down the PPD units. All you have to do is destroy this one thing. Problem is there is 30 patrols with speed boost and flight. There are also 3 ambushes tied to the object your destroying, so you have to be able to destroy it quickly and exit. I'm still tweaking but the idea is to make it hard but not ridiculous, and to make people try to stealth the mish and destroy the object quickly. XP and Infamy won't be great, but I'm more interested in trying to get people with 50s to play differently now and then.

Seven pages deep now. Can we get a link or something to corroborate this rumor, please?

Well there's this and then there is the guy with dual pistols in this.
  17. That and dual pistols in this game wil be NOTHING like dual pistols in Halo. Apples and oranges.
  18. JDub

    Dual Blades

Honestly, adding in Power Slice at the end of that chain, has a higher DPS and takes even less recharge. If I remember right you can do it just by slotting for max recharge and no globle recharge at all.
  19. 300 million Inf and it doesn't give what the description said it would.....Ya, I'd be pissed.
  20. Hey Jupiter, I played it. It was kinda hard, I had to use SoW often, but it wasn't anything to write home about. You should try my arc listed in my sig.

One thing, you said these mobs weren't debuffing....but they are. Watch your defense. My WP brute has right around 30% defense to all, and those mobs kept me around -30%.....that means I'm getting hit twice as much. If you don't have alot of defense like me, your probably somewhere around -60% defense when fighting these mobs. That is a pretty big component to leave out of your story.
  21. I think some folks are confusing taking the alpha with tanking. If you are the only brute on a team, you are generally expected to charge in first to take the alpha, but I've never been on a team that expects my brute to keep all the aggro taunted to me like a tank does.
  22. I'm mainly just bored and dreaming cause I'm like 99% sure Dual Pistols will be a power set for Corruptors, Blasters, and Defenders....but IF it was to be a Rogue Agent epic AT to go along with Going Rogue instead, this is what I'd like it to look like.

    Rogue Primary

    1. Single Shot - Quick Single shot from one pistol. Minor Smashing DoT. 60ft range

    2. Dual Shot - One shot from each pistol. Moderate Smashing DoT 40ft range

    3. Sweep - Animation from Dragon tail from martial arts. Low spinning kick that does moderate damage in an AoE with knockdown. 10ft radius

    4. Empty Clips - Wide cone where you empty both clips. Does moderate smashing DoT to upto 10 targets. Range is only 30ft.

    Rogue Secondary

    1. Quickdraw - you have a passive boost to your run speed and recharge. Also naturally resists slows.

    2. Eagle Eye - This click power boosts your damage and accuracy for 15 seconds.

    3. Decimattion - Just by watching an opponent you can see thier weaknesses. This power lowers the resistance and Defense of a single target for a short time.

That's it at first. Seven total powers, all offensive. At level 20 you will need to pick a specialty. Much like choosing
a pth for VEATs. You can become a Rogue Spy or a Rogue Assassin.

    Spy Primary

    1. Web Grenade - this grenade can completely hold a single target rendering him helpless.

    2. Flash Bang - This grenade explodes into a bright burst of light blinding as you throw it to your feet. All targets within 50 ft radius will have a large debuff to accuracy and perception for a brief time. They will also be disoriented for a few moments or untill attacked.

    3. Sliver - You aim specificly at your enemie's legs. This attack is much like empty clips but does minor DoT in the cone and has a slow affect on all tagets hit.

    4. Absolute - This power would be like a hybrid of assasin's strike and sniper shot. You'd kneel down and take a few moments like sniper shot, but if the target was still unaware of you (not aggroed) the shot would do double damage. High damage, or Extreme. Range is 120 ft.

    5. Blaze of Glory - Animation from Typhoon's Edge (jump and spin with arms fully extebded) with both guns unloading on full auto. 40 ft radius AoE moderate lethal damage.

    Spy Secondary

    1. Cloak - This power allows you to use a device that cloaks you. It acts as an AoE placate, and you are completely invisible for 30 seconds.

    2. Spontaneus - Your reactions are so fast in combat you are hard to hit. This toggle provides 12% defense to Melee and Ranged atatcks.

    3. Sphere of Weakness - This toggle acts a a strong defense debuff. Any enemy that gets within 8ft of you loses alot of defense due to your ability to immediatly spot his weaknesses and strike them, or even shout them out to comrades.

4 & 5. Honestly I can't think of 2 more powers for this AT, but basicly this route should have some more self and team buffs with minimal mitigation help. Survivability should be about the same as a Corruptor/Blaster.

    Assassin Primary

    1. Spinning Backhand - Anyone who has ever seen a UFC match knows this move. You stay on your feet but spin around striking with the backside of your hand. This would be a small radius AoE with a max of 5 enemies. Moderate smashing damage.

    2. Uppercut - A fast upper cut, nothing like Knock out Blow from super strength. This quick but powerful strike would do high smashing damage with knockdown.

    3. Blaze of Glory - Animation from Typhoon's Edge (jump and spin with arms fully extebded) with both guns unloading on full auto. 25 ft radius AoE moderate lethal damage.

    4. Point Blank - This attack is melee ranged but you kneel down slightly and fire a single shot from both guns
simultaneously at your enemy's face. Extreme damage and knocback.

    Assassin Secondary

    1. Tough as Nails - This epic AT would start with HP around that of a Stalker, but this passive power grants roughly 10% bonus HP and 8% resistance to all.

    2. Hardened - This Toggle provides 15% resistance to Smashing and lethal, as well as strong resists to holds and other status affect powers.

    3. Evasive Maneuvers - This toggle grants 12% defense to ranged, melee, and AoE attacks.

    4. Quicksilver - This passive power gives a slight buff to accuracy and protection against accuracy debuffs.

    5. Bullet Proof - This click power gives you high resists to all damage types for 90 seconds. When it crashes you are left with 1/4 health and endurance. 5 minute recharge.

Few notes. These EATs would need to have very fast redraw to not be annoying. I didn't work out the combos, but my idea is to have 10 -12 combos that provide everything from extra damage to the enemy, to extra defense for the caster. This is important becuase it would allow the player to truly customize thier Rogue agent. Also, I think a good inherent power would be highly boosted regen between fights. Basicly, after 20 seconds of not attacking or being attacked, your regen would be
about as high as when you use "Rest" As soon as you start fighting again it would go back to normal, but it would allow you to recover between skirmishes very quickly. Thats's about all I got. It's a rough idea but I think it would be great fun. I do realize it is HIGHLY unlikely, but I can dream :P
  23. While I love my DB/WP brute, I gotta say my Claws/WP scrapper id more fun. You get to jump around and control the mobs much more than you do with other melee sets. When brutes finally get claws proliferated, I doubt I'll play anything else.

Meanwhile, my SS/WP Brute has yet to find an 8-man spawn of lts that he can survive for more than five seconds. 37189246789123 percent regen is only nice if you can survive long enough to make it matter.

    [/ QUOTE ]

SS/WP is perhaps the most survivable powerhouse outside of stone available redside. Can you post your build?

You should easily be able to tank normal content. Now, if you are talking about missions in AE, WP can get chewed up against specialized mobs. The problem then is you are playing the wrong thing - bringing a hammer when a wrench is needed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    no it's not

    151377

all dual blade lt's. all immune to stun but not knockback

tell me how your /wp does in there with both tough and weave.

however my willpower can tank those missions those ss/fire brutes like to setup easily due to a high amount of elemental defense - and the fact that the mobs in question dont debuff any resistance.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So because you don't know how to play a brute, Wp sucks? Gimme a break dude. My WP brute can take, manage, and hold just about anything.

If you can't go toe to toe with any GM redside, your doing it wrong. If you can't have a picnik under a RWZ Pylon your doing it wrong. If you can't do the RWZ challenge while being attacked by a lvl 54 EB....your doing it wrong.

WP is the funk. It is you that is weak.
  25. When Claws finally gets proliferated to Brutes, it will be Claws/Fire. Untill then...who cares?
