  1. That's something new - and not good.
I would PM a link to this thread to Arbiter Kim, to make sure the devs are aware of it.

Or you can use free tailor tokens. We were all given one PER SLOT on every character for Issue 17.
Assuming, of course, that this isn't something they can fix.
  3. hm.... I thought we were going to do the level 24 respec trial next.....
  4. Of course, restoration usually involves working from a back-up. In which case items placed in the interim go bye-bye.

According to Castle, it's the same bug affecting the mitos. Some affects that are supposed to shut down after 10 seconds are instead shutting down after 99999 seconds.

So, when the players take an action that will prevent the power, instead of the duration running out in seconds and making them possible to defeat, the effect sticks around indefinitely.

There are no coincidences when Nemesis is around.
  8. They stopped working in about November 2008.
    Dunno why.

I would guess the channel name does need to be in quotes if there are any spaces in it, since some of the other channel management commands have that requirement.

Because when you open Task Manager, CoH loses the focus and the priority drops. Click on the CoH window to give it the focus while Task Manager is open and the priority will change.

Unlikely. And that's definitely not 'usual' practice. We've only gotten them when the chatserver has had a meltdown major enough to reassign people's global names.

    In theory, no.
If all goes according to plan, no.

Of course, being BROKEN obviously wasn't part of the plan, so there are no guarantees.
  13. My main has a flamethrower and grenades.
    He feels so heroic.
  14. The new TF gives 26 merits in total for both parts (11 and 15).

Just to alert people, so they don't come and post that they can't find her arc: the second arc will not be listed until you UNLOCK the contact by completing the first arc.

    My impression is yes.
After Issue 17 was published, I had to turn down some of my settings to recover the performance I was seeing before Issue 17.

Seriously. I was on a MoITF and we were in the last mission and had already smacked down Romulus and fuzzies. We were getting the last 15 or 20 Cimerorans and someone got careless and died. No recriminations and multiple people saying, "Don't worry about it."

  22. I don't recall any redname mentioning this feature.

To be fair, if they did and said it was in Going Rogue, I probably didn't pay much attention since that's 2-1/2 months away.

I would conclude that either you have a very short memory or you have having more problems than most other players. Aside from the business with the auction house, I haven't seen any significant problems.

FYI, the noise during the loading screen is TRIVIAL AND INSIGNIFICANT. They don't even bother trying to fix trivia like that until there's nothing else going on. If you see a need to mention it, you must not have any 'real' problems.

Ignore that information. It's a bad joke at this point.

It appears that the introduction of Ultra Mode has increased the system requirements significantly by default. When I first logged in after Issue 17, I had consistent rubberbanding and dramatic drops in framerate while moving and, in some cases, just by turning to face a different direction.

Going into the graphics settings and turning down a few of the more demanding settings got me back to where I used to be in terms of performance. It's hard to be sure, but I think the game looks better even at lower settings than I had before Issue 17.

Start turning options to lower settings. Each one has a question mark to the left. If you mouseover the ?, it will tell you about that setting - particularly how much impact it is likely to have on your performance.
