Well, they now have 4 different 'seasonal' events. Since each typically lasts about a month, I figure they have room for EIGHT more so that we can have some kind of special event running at all times.

Quote:Nah. I only bring out phrases like that when someone dials their posts up to 'Extreme Drama' levels.I half-suspect you really just find some catharsis in typing "get over yourself," but you know, if ya'll spent more time trying to understand each other and less time trying to one-up each other, I bet all sorts of miracles would happen for us and for the game.
On a side note, did you notice how many people posted that they agree with my comments? Or did that slip past you while you were busy speaking for the community?
It would be nice if you knew what that phrase meant. Your usage makes it abundantly clear that you do not. -
Quote:Yeah, we need less of that. If you want to ignore someone, feel free to do so. Just don't be a ##### drama queen and announce it to everyone.4. has anyone actually put you on ignore becuase they simply can not stand your opinions any longer?

Firstly, expecting a response in under 14 minutes is a bit over the top.
Secondly, it kind of sounds like you're expecting tech support from the game staff. This is not the place for that. This is PLAYERS helping other players.
Finally, with ZERO information about your computer, the best we could do is make wild guesses about what might be causing the problem. There a thread here about asking for technical help on the forums. All the stuff in that thread might seem like a bit much, but at least throw us a bone. Give us as much detail about your hardware and OS as possible. -
Nice? I would say 'expected' and perhaps 'typical'. I don't imagine this game is the only one that does something like this. It sucks that you had a problem with this, and that you didn't know how the naming system worked. This certainly wasn't a secret, though. I've known about this for years. I guess a similar situation occurred a long time ago and someone posted about it.

Quote:"Burning like a thous..." wow, get over yourself. You don't speak for "the community". Some of *US* (including myself) APPLAUD the prioritization of resources and are very happy with the costume sets we have seen lately. I've been buying just about every set and bought a load of superpacks to get the entire Elemental Order set.Nevertheless, I am disappointed by what can be genuinely labeled as a prioritization of resources that is largely unresponsive to the community. The community won't shut up about this, Zwillinger. Don't be CCP. I know your job is to toe the line, but it's also to communicate our desires to the team, and our desire is pretty much burning like a thousand suns.
At any given time, there are dozens of things the community is absolutely dying for. Golden/Silver Age outfits are ONE of those things. To use a line like this, "prioritization of resources that is largely unresponsive to the community" just because you're not getting what you want RIGHT NOW is . . . well, pretty much a SLAP IN THE FACE! -
Quote:<enlists her cat to peel off the note and chew it up>I am going to try real hard not to forget it this Saturday.
I put a bright pink sticky note on my monitor to remind me.
I should be on if you need help or come up short or whatever.
But don't put me on the list since I don't need the badge. -

The answer is simple: 'the man' is keeping you down.
P.S. There is no Forum Cartel. -
Quote:Firstly, if you re-read the OP's post, his experienced did NOT match yours. No one said they had experienced it at the same time; just that "they've been noticing it recently."I was mapserved for about half a second once last night. I asked in the help channel if it happened to anybody else and 2 people in help said yes while I immediately also had 2 people send me a tell saying yes. 1 of the people in help said it happened to him a few times in the last 2 hours. So the problem seems to be happening to others as well. Which means, posting info about someone's computer here is most likely not going to solve anything since the player's computer is most likely not the cause of it.
Second, the OP says it's been happening a lot. Since we're not hearing complaints from far and wide about everyone having this issue, it probably *IS* something about his system or internet connection.
Finally, we can't get any diagnostic information about NCSoft's servers so the OP's system information is the only place we can start. It may or may not be helpful, but giving us no information guarantees that we can offer no assistance at all. -

No Enhancement Increase #1 or 2? Do they need to be bought in order?
(Not that I'm planning to buy any.)
Well, I think the big selling point is that it lets you hold on to more IO's during a respec. Having said that, I agree the price is insane. I have not bought any storage increases and have no plans to do so. -
I don't think that's a bug. There are several anti-teleportation effects there (and the Chantry) and they seem intentional.

Then during those 3 badge runs, I got a rare and a very rare. -

1) Look for Submariner Janus in Independence Port - he also appears in Sharkhead Isle and connects the two locations.
2) Go through a co-op zone - Pocket D, Midnighter Club, Dark Astoria. (Pocket D also connects to Praetoria.) -
Into the sewers! Wear an old costume.

Maybe. I did exactly that on one character that I use to exemp to a variety of levels. I have IO sets as low as level 25 on him and some as high as 45. On most characters, though, I don't bother. I IO them ONCE at around level 35. I feel that gives an acceptable balance between how low I can exemp without losing bonuses and how effective the IO's are when operating at his regular level.

Quote:Can't answer that since I don't know anything about the wolf. That's awesome! How is it now? Does it attack Like the white wolve pet from the master mind set?
My dark/dark controller is level 45 and the Umbra Beast is great. He spends a lot of time throwing an AoE that involves howling.
