So you operate under the assumption that a significant (and apparently large) percentage of the players are scum. Ouch. If you've actually had experiences that led to this position, I would say you have had extremely bad luck.

Too slaxy for this thread?

Quote:Pocket D also has one more selling point - a lot of players have the Pocket D teleporter: <click> bamf!Pocket D not idea again no store but does have access to inspirations. For access to your base or crafting head outside into the neighborhoods. LAGGY? yes but designed to hold a large number of players due to the events that run inside it throughout the year.. Winter event, Valentine's (Spring Event) etc...

Quote:Right. Inf earning is based on your ACTUAL level. So is earning XP. Otherwise your rewards would be negligible if you exemped from 49 down to 15.Obviously, I was exempted down to lvl 15, but inf rewards seemed comparable to lvl 50,
Except the end of mission recipes, as you noted in your other post. Those drop at your level.Quote:and I got two incarnate shard drops. All salvage and recipes dropped as if lvl 15.
It's not. It's supposed to be 40.Quote:On completion, I was awarded 40 merits (which I think is higher than normal)
Yep, that's working correctly.Quote:and the Positron's Ally badge, but no additional incarnate rewards.
Actually, it gets you NONE of them.Quote:So, it looks like doing it this way gets you some of the advantages of the WTF, but not all.
- You do not earn double merits.
- You do not earn the bonus XP.
- You do not receive a Notice of the Well.
Working as intended. You can get those in any TF or mission now.
To summarize, every single item you described is working exactly as it was supposed to. -

Quote:And yet a lot of people already have MoBAF, which requires coordinating 24 people. (shrug)I didn't get it with a dedicated group. Not glossing over anything here.Quote:And how many of those are ones with dedicated groups on the larger servers? You either have a group that you run stuff with regularly or you get extremely lucky in not having any ******** in a PUG. Of course, those with it tend to gloss over such trivialities...
Of course, it's common to offhandedly put down and dismiss any comments that don't agree with your position. -

Currently, DUE TO BEING BUGGED, Ionic is the most popular. The Judgement powers are not supposed to benefit from your damage buffs. The Ionic effect jumps from target to target and, after the first one, inherits your damage buffs. So it's currently doing crazy damage until it gets fixed.
Personally, I took Void for thematic reasons and the fact that it also applies a damage debuff on the enemy. (It can also do knockback or extra damage, but I'm not going that route in the tree.) -
Quote:Not following you at all.Issue 20 has been live for a week now, why would that have any effect on how many people are online. That would make sense if it had been happening all week long but only for 1 day and at the end of the week? Where's the logic in that?
Why would Issue 20 be having any affect on how many people are online??? um, because it's popular? I think that would explain all the people online. And no, you wouldn't expect the crowds to be on "all week long". Most people don't play as much on weeknights. -

Someone posted that no one on their run got a Notice of the Well, but all other rewards worked correctly. I haven't tried it myself.

Monitor what?
It sounds like your connection can't handle the amount of data being sent when all those powers are fired at once. I'm in an SG with someone who used to be on dial-up. During that time (he has a better connection now), if there were a bunch of us in the base, we could reliably DC him if we had 10-12 people crowd around him and fire off their buffs. This is 10-12 empathy characters with no pets and before Incarnate powers existed. -
Quote:So far I've experienced:
- Random disbanding of the league mid Trial
- Crash to desktop without warning
- Sound loop lock up
- Rejoin LFG not working
I experienced the first problem you list exactly ONCE (on the very first day) and none of the others at all. This is out of . . . I think 30 trials. I've actually been keeping track of how many I ran but I'm at work right now. So these problems are by no means common.Quote:So I would say to anyone right now don't play these TFs for the rewards. Because you probably won't get them and if you don't, no one is going to care. Apparently fully participating throughout the Trial counts for nothing. -

Quote:Issue 20 isn't an "event"? I would have to disagree. When I logged in the other night, NONE of the servers were green. The servers are all jumping! Not only is Issue 20 an event, it's apparently quite a popular one.You were saying about Freedom not being overpopulated??? It's completely full right now, as in no one else can get on Freedom. Not down, there's no maintenance right now, just full. Not the first time this has happened either but it is the first time without there being some sort of event going on like Double XP weekend and/or free account reactivation.

I'm in with Al Pine - level 23 plant/cold controller.

Quote:Can we kill a player and loot the body in this game?So far, on 50+ succesful trials, I got 1 Very Rare, 8 Rare, 1 Common and all the others are Uncommon (40+).

I've gotten Very Rare once, Rare once, a couple of Commons and mostly Uncommons. This is in 11 successes.
So.. um... Uncommon seems more common than Common? -

I can confirm the Alpha slot bug is NOT fixed - checked a few minutes ago.
