  1. Count me in as well. I am running Win XP with 4 gigs of ram and two 500 mb Nvidia cards SLI'd together, and every few hours I get a crash. Sometimes there is no helpful message, but when I do it's usually the "game ran out of memory" error message.
  2. I've seen this before in the game - I think it may have something to do with Ultra Mode. Sounds like some kind of memory dump problem?

    Graphics Crash

    I was having a ton of graphics problems as well - until I turned off Ultra mode. After that - not a crash.

    Count me in with the folks that ran through the Tina Mac and Maria Jenkins arcs and only show 12 out of 14 AVs defeated.

    There really should be some indication of which ones I'm missing in the UI, like someone suggested upthread.
  5. Completed the Tina Macintyre and Maria Jenkins story arcs recently, and defeated all the AVs, but the progress bar still says I'm missing two. I guess a couple of the AVs are not counting for some reason?
  6. Hmm...okay it isn't SLI like I thought. Was going through the Citadel TF and I started crashing at least once a mission - just a black screen with "no signal". I mean over the last 5 years or so I'd get the occasional crash, but it has gotten really bad recently. Hopefully they can find a fix.
  7. Ah - so it's Seige and Nightstar? I knew something funny was up when I got through both Tina Macintyre's and Maria Jenkin's Arcs but I was still missing two AVs.
  8. Do you have the one card or two SLI'd together? I was having a lot of crashes until I diabled SLI in the Nvidia control panel.
  9. Do you have two cards running SLI? I was having a LOT of trouble recently with sudden and frequent freezes and crashes - even with some slightly older drivers. All I had to do was disable SLI, and the game works just fine (apparently CoH doesn't support SLI or Crossfire anyways...)
  10. Hmmm - how about:

    1) Medicine Pool - something other than a "tricorder" - like a magic wand or "laying on hands" animation.

    2) Many "sub-weapon" powers having random animations - such as Ice Sword and Greater Ice Sword in Ice Melee, or their firey counterparts in Firey Melee, or Stone Mallet/Heavy Mallet in Stone Melee etc. Basically so that every time you use it one of 2 or 3 animations play just so you aren't doing the same move over and over again.

    Edit: I like Psywarrior's suggection above - the ability to change the look of, say Frozen Fists to that of a Sword attack, or the Ice Sword powers to hand-to-hand strikes, just to keep thinks consistent.

    3) Flight - how about a jet pack appears when you click the power (maybe make it part of the costume?). Or things like energy auras surrounding the character when it activates (or even the just the bottom half of his body).

    Those are the ones that jump right out at me at the moment - will have to think on it.

  11. I've noticed that my Ice/Ice tank can't seem to hold aggro even with Icicles and CE running - the "auto-taunts" for both these powers (and possibly even gauntlet) seem to be supressed/turned off.

    That and the occasional crash.

I have noticed something odd when playing my Ice/Ice tank - ever since Issue 8 went live it seems like CE and Icicles aren't generating any aggro - mobs aren't sticking on me and regularly break off to go after my teammates. I'm not sure if gauntlet is working either. Before I-8 mobs would stick to be like glue so something weird is definately going on.
