The purp sets I already have in storage; so it's not exactly a splurge. What is a splurge are the 3 Tough Hami-Os.
Thoughts? The goals were...
1. Really good Recovery vs End consumption
2. Soft Capped Defenses
3. Decent +Recharge, but not perma-hasten levels.
4. Putting out damage. This is why I have 5-slotted Performance shifters.

Goals were, in this order:
1. Soft Cap -all- three basic defense types: AoE, Melee, and Ranged.
2. Apply as much painful, murderous burst damage as possible to targets in the briefest amount of time.
3. Don't go useless due to Endurance problems.
As the goal is also to not waste all my money, I only allowed -one- high cost enhancement (the pvp unique), and everything else is obtainable via Reward merits. The empties are Stalker ATOs.
Want thoughts on how it looks, etc; having not actually played Kine Melee before, I'm not sure how it works in gameplay. Also, I'd like to know how the heck to get to 50 to make this build.

The goals:
1. Get as close to the personal Defense softcap as possible.
2. Get pets as close to the Defense softcap as possible.
3. Make pets and traps as nasty as possible.
4. Complete goals 1, 2, and 3 with minimal purples and expensive stuff I can't buy with Reward Merits (Reward Merit-buyable stuff is OK).
Notes:
1. Hami-Os seems to be the best way to get maximal benefits from protector bots, especially with Musculature Core Paragon already buffing damage and Tactics buffing accuracy; it is, however, pretty much the most expensive thing in this set. Another thought instead of using Sovereign Right's Res bonus was to use my Command of the Mastermind special for the +10% AoE defense (or some number), since it would probably synergize better.
2. I was waffling as to put Build Up on either my Assbot or my Drones. I still am. But I'd rather have the extra AoE Defense from Blood Mandate than the 3% health, like Desch's build gets by putting 3 blood mandates and 3 Soulbound Allegiances in Assbot, and both Acc and Damage will hit the ED anyways. This was my thought process.
3. Not enough global Recharge to get permaHasten. Not sure what to do about that; less sure if I should give a damn.

Two questions, one filled with rage, the other normal, Mastermind forum:
1. How do I get my bots/traps' bots to 60% Defense without relying on my secondary? It's not like I can control my Force Field Generator or buff it to keep a Victoria from murdering it, and right now it's like every time I go on an iTrial with Victorias and I'm not massively buffed or tanked for, a Victoria can just approach my bots and kill five in .3 seconds, dooming me to fifteen to twenty seconds of resummoning/re-equipping on the off chance it didn't kill me too; a long time in a BAF, an eternity in Keyes/LAM/TPN which are all very kinetic trials. And in something like Apex? I might as well become a one-powerset villian, because I sure as hell can't pause to resummon my bots without either 15 swords jumping at me or getting bombed by magic swords halfway through summoning a batch.
2. A slightly less rage-y post: I've been running a Demons/Time MM which I've been finding entertaining so far at level 18, but... do Demons and Time have any synergy? I don't think Time has +res, and demons do Res instead of Defense... am I missing something? Is this not gonna work out in long run, or does it? -

So, I've gotten back into CoH after a few years, and I'm looking at my first fifty, and wondering 'what the hell was I thinking?' But now that I have time and the drive to start getting this guy setted out (Though Purples are more or less out of the question, unless I get amazingly lucky), and I'm looking at this and wondering...
1. What can I do with 3 spare powers now that Fitness will be inherent.
2. What can I do with sets to make this guy a beast on the battlefield?
3. What the hell was I -thinking- when I rolled this guy?
Powers and slots are in wrong order because I seriously don't remember what order I put them in. I'm not sure where I want to take this guy; I've got people telling me to spam Obliteration and enjoy massive defense, others tellin' me Mako's, etc. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd love to hear advice or suggestions (or people's own mockups) on what direction to take this in my next respec.

I almost expected Savage to die, too. I'm also impressed by the final decision; it was honestly a difficult choice for me, and not at all a black or white situation.
Are the other arcs (loyalist, crusader, etc) as enjoyable? (Please don't spoil them, the only spoilers here should be Warden Spoilers!)

It's kind of hard to figure out where to go with it, lol. I'm open to any secondary set (Aside from Shield Defense, of course!). I've already made a Willpower and a Regen Hero, though; maybe Super Reflexes or one of the stranger powers, or something with a techy aesthetic? I'm not so sure.
For the sake of simplicity: Energy Aura, Super Reflexes, Invulnerability, and Electric Armor are secondary sets I'm interested in. -
Hi, it's been a long time since I've played CoH; 3 years, in fact! So, when I heard that new powersets were out for Scrappers, of course I was interested!
An initial glance at the guide thread didn't find me any Titan Weapon basics, so if anyone could give me a basic jist of what's good, what's not in the set, and what it works well with, I'd be grateful; also, any idea of when is good to get certain things, i.e. travel powers and the new powers like Burnout; I hear that they've lowered the travel power cap to 4 now?
