  1. This one is pretty old too. It was actually my first try at making figures photorealistic from scratch (without a manip, still couldn't get hair right), though the background was rendered (using Vistapro. Do they still make this?)

    Before that, this is what my artwork looked like.

    Thanks! Yay! I don't suck at this. I've been meaning to learn how to create comic book style drawings for awhile. I'm glad I finally got my lazy keester to work on one, for someone I respect.
  5. Here's my Cuppajo drawing [WIP]. This is actually my first time doing something in a comic book style. I did once do a t-shirt design for a company that was cartoony, so I took what I learned from that. Anyway, I planned on drawing a background for it, but I may not have time. I will have it colored at least before the end of the week. I hope she likes.

    She cheats though, with a dev code that keeps her unaffected by TPFoe.

    What are you going to do? Add AOE defense to it like Dispersion Field? I doubt it after defense buffs for the set has already been nerfed to a balance you guys have already stated you we're happy with, and besides that will completely change the power to something completely different from its counterpart in PVE. And don't change it to an "oh crap" power that has been suggested, it will only serve to make it more undesirable in a team and the set already has so many powers that help people get out of dangerous situations (repulsion bomb, force bolt, detention field, and even force bubble currently).

    Please leave Force Bubble alone, it doesn't prevent anyone from attacking anyway, it doesn't grant any ACC Debuff, it doesn't drop Stalker Stealth or toggles in general, it doesn't do anything but pin unprepared builds to the walls. Who's fault is that? Heck, the only thing it benefits me when I use it in PvP is the shock factor it causes when someone is TPed into it and rushed to a wall, typically giving me a few free seconds to strike.

    The worst parts about getting debuffed by hurricane was the nasty to-hit debuff and its -range. The -tohit was easily countered at the higher levels(FA, AIM, BU, etc). The -range was the only form of mitigation against ranged toons for the Storm summoning set. It made only since that storm should be able to keep melee out when they are so vulnerable to everything else.

    Actually, the only thing I really wanted to change in this mess was the ability for Repel Fields to effectively trap a player against geometry in Base Raids. I'm aware other powers have the same problem. I'll address those individually, though -- the same type of change made to Hurricane can be made, but for the most part, those powers have fewer aspects to them that Hurricane does. That makes getting them right considerably harder.

    Thanks, I have to thank the all those who've ask for help with their binds, and to those of the Comics Hero/Villain Culture that give my life....well...something to do in the meantime.

    I use cutom key mapping anyway. I put all my powers in the right hand typing area.

    Your binds work for macro too. My fire/fire tanker now uses this bind...(if i didn't make a typo for it)

    Ok you might want to check those toggle up powers with your macro you might discover it only activating the last one in the series. Unless I7 made a change I don't know about and yes this is an awesome guide.

    Nothing seems to be wrong with his bind, it should work as he says it does. powexec_toggleon is a command that basically turns the power on if the power is off, otherwise the command ignored.

    That only works if you're loading a bind from the chat window, it doesn't work if you're loading a bind from a bind.

    Long filenames are a problem but you may shorten the filename of a bindfile located in say: C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\binds\bindfile.txt, the command would look like "bindloadfile .\binds\bindfile.txt".

    Oh Black, I haven't had time to do more than scan through your new guide yet, but again it's in my favorites. As for the space in "+ $$", if you can do without it that's a pretty new addition, for it didn't used to work that way. I'll have to test that also as soon as I'm able.

    Well, we are still working on getting Cuppa as the City Rep. Along with getting a "Save Jackson Turner" mission.

    And you can make a Huge Female Body, Put the height, legs, shoulder, and pretty much every other slider all the way up. Presto, huge Female.

    Crikey people, I am 5'4" and about a buck 25 standing in the rain. I don't need the huge option. Just move the body slider to athletic.

    Miri says he thinks I am an NPC in Steel Canyon. Supposedly there is female NPC sitting outside a coffee shop with a laptop that says random "cuppa-esque" things. Maybe that's me? I am still waiting on coordinates to check it out.

    I had hoped that the CoH version of the newspaper tech would be the Cat Stuck in Tree Missions that Statesman mentioned long while ago, meaning spawning contacts in which citizens appear (standing on corners or run up to you) screaming "Help me!" and give you a generated mission when you talk to them.

  19. The command teamselect should have a space between it and the number. Also I'm not sure it will make a difference, but you might want to put the bindloadfile as the last command.
  20. Actually, to load up the bindfile C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\binds\Ace01.txt, the command would look like "bindloadfile .\binds\Ace.txt", which isn't very long (only 1 character more than putting it in C:\1\Ace.txt).
  21. If you do repost, I just noticed one fix that's needed. Change all open and close quotes (ie “ and ”) to just a standard quote ("). Binds using the former will not work. To fix, after typing in Word, cut and paste to notepad and do a search and replace for those quotes that Word places.

    Your original binds were correct except for the powexecslot 0 which should be changed to powexecslot 10. As for why it did not work, I have to ask how may trays do you have up, where is tray 1 (the one containing Recall Friend) located at the very top, the bottom or the middle (if 3 trays are up)? Don't do TEK_NO_BURNS binds, they are incorrect because powexec_slot 10 is placed outside the quotes where a declaration of a key should be instead.

    Using powexec_name is a better alternative, as it's not reliant on where a power is on your tray. As per your example the bind should look something like this:

    numpad3 "powexecname Recall Friend$$team $target prepare yourself for one heck of a ride!$$bindloadfile c:\cohbinds\tp\tp2.txt"

    As the power's name is Recall Friend, not Teleport Friend.
