Ok, I found a work-around to get it to load!

I was fooling around soloing and was trying various things to see if I could make it load - I did find that if while loading you hit the Windows key - then right click on CoX in the taskbar where it shows the option to close window and such - IT STARTED LOADING IMMEDIATELY!

It works instantly nearly every time.

Os - I agree completely.

Someone asked me what foes were our team fighting - on my +3 x 8 mobs - I don't recall but I believe it was Freaks.

I don't see personally how a stalker can overcome the single shot issue unless you add something to them. Give me a team buff of +def or + resistance that increases with party size.

Stalkers don't want aggro and therefore don't take alphas, the delay in AS is a HUGE issue. How about you lower the time required to AS for each teammate. Take that 5 -10 second setup and drop it to where I can AS every 2 seconds in an 8 man team. Now I can be a force.

What stalkers need is damage. AoE damage.

Without that they fill no purpose almost any other AT can't do better.

Let me relate a personal story to you.

Running in a team doing +3 x 8 with my Electric/Ninja stalker.

I would isolate one of the bosses hit him and kill him turn around and the team had killed everything else and had the other boss in the spawn nearly dead.

My contribution? 1 boss out of what 16-17 foes in the group. I watched after that and let the team know I was going to test something.

The next spawn I just watched - never attacked. It took maybe 5-10 seconds longer for them to defeat the spawn. It was demoralizing. I was contributing almost nothing - to add to it I then switched to my Fire/Dark corr and the team now was a steamroller and it cut the time in half from what we had been doing with my stalker. I then deleted my level 39 stalker.

Traps/DP is VERY good solo.

I run mine at level 16 now at -1 x 6

If something absolutely has to die - my Fire/Dark Corr.

I have tanked the enite ITF with him and once in a team on the ITF the fire tank died at Rom.

I stepped in taunted the Nictus off (I have Provoke on him) and debuffed Rom and slowed him so we could take him down until Howling twilight was up so I could rez the tank.

The team afterwards sent me a bunch of tells asking for my build

So ok, I have multiple personalities.

A duo of doom would be:

Plant/Kin controller and a Sonic/Energy or Sonic/Fire blaster.

A team I once did which was amazing was a rad/MM Blaster and a Sonic/Ice blaster.

It is the same issue with stalkers that scrappers have - in almost every case any other AT would improve the team more.

Choice between a Stalker and a Corr?
A corr brings tons of damage, Buffs or Debuffs things a Stalker does not do.

Stalker and Dom?
Perma-Dom? Dam and control.

Stalker and Brute?
Brute wins.

Stalker over MM?
Buffs and damage. Often at Corr level damage and the same buffs.

Show me one AT where you can say between a Stalker and this....the Stalker is better. You say well the better player obviously wins! Yes, sitting in Cimerora building a Pug ITF - how do you know?

You don't. So teams choose the lesser of evils and a bad stalker is the worst of evils. A bad corr may not aplly speed boost enough - a bad Stalker is often dead.

A Sonic/Ice can stack sleeps enough to keep an AV zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Leveling a Traps/DP now and he is a ball! I am runnning him at level 8 (eight) -1 x 6.

I drop calthrops in front of a group, drop back and use Acid Mortar and then open up with the bullets! I don't even have Triage yet and haven't been close to defeated.

ITF expert?

Fire/Dark corrupter.

From experience - you cannot get more chaotic.

Imagine 3 PB's, 2 Energy Blasters, FF bubs, Tank who opens every fight with taunt + handclap and an Ice/Storm controller.

I know you would expect team wipes but in most cases things were dead before they hit the floor from the knockback.

I saw an Elite boss once literally get hit by 5 attacks at once knocked into a cartwheel and he was dead before he crumpled to the floor.

I never considered RWZ but that would work Dansant is a little low (31), but someone will be the right level.

I should be on tonight at 9pm EST and happy to get it going again. I will be on Dansant again to knock things about.

Once you see a team like this in action you begin to understand how powerful knockback is as mitigation. I rarely see anyone out of the green in health. The other day we had zero healing powers and ripped thru missions like crazy.

I have been getting wierd issues since Issue 17 went live - I will run across a zone and go from 60-70 fps and then instantly down to 1 and stutter for a bit. It will then stop and run clear for a while. If I come to a stop, pause a bit and move again it is fine for a while.

It is acting like a video memory leak. I am not sure if its possible for a video memory leak, but it isn't just me, yesterday on 2 different 8 man teams I mentioned it and all 15 of us have the trouble to varying degrees.

I will try a few different video settings and see what happens. I have zero problems inside the missions.

I will not be on tonight as I have fighter practice and won't be home until nearly 10pm EST
