  1. Isn't there damage caps though? It would seem you would cap your damage fairly quickly with IO + AAO to the point where you no longer get any benefits.

  7. I am working on a cold/sonic. Lets face it. buffing defense and buffing damage is leet.
  8. sounds good. and I like the idea of being able to buff def to 37% with shields, maneuvers and fog
  9. I am making an ice defender and was thinking about how many slots for the shields. I was going to put 3 slots in the shields. That puts it to about 22% def buff. Is that ovekilll in todays builds running around soft capped? Is it worth putting slots in it? Do you use the as IO mules?

    Curious.

    Good point about the sleet. I was thinking about siren's as a solo'ing tool to sleep groups that I can then finish off one at a time. But your right, it aint going to work. Back to drawing board.

    A single target disorient doesn't seem all that good. why do you like screech? Or are you trying to double it up to lock a boss down?

  15. why wouldn't i slot a steadfast -kb IO? its better protection then Acrobatics
  16. Here is step one for a defender concept I have. What do you guys think? I have a few slots in there just to see the affects, i.e. maneuvers. Those slots will eventually get there but not necessarily in that order. But with my shields+manu I can buff defense to 29.14% That is nothing to sneeze at.

    What do you guys think of the power choices and when I take them?

  21. 45% is the key, from what I understand. The difference you get from 40% to 45% makes getting the last 5% worth it. I can imagine its even greater going from 35%.

  25. Great news. Here is what you need to know about enhancements.

    Before IOs came out:

    At level 12 hit Steel Canyon and buy all level 15 DOs(dual origin)
    At level 22 hit Talos or IP and buy all level 25 SOs(Single Origin)

    With IOs you can start to get some level 15s in at level 12. At 22 get some 25s. Nice thing about IOs is they don't expire. once you can slot 35s you can get all the way to 50.

    Siphon Life is different then Dull Pain btw. First of all, its recharge is such that it is in your normal DPS chain. Just keep using it.
