Feeling kinda noobish. Captain Mako is a villain on CoV, I got that. So is he a random NPC walking around the shore or is he a dev playing his Toon Captain Mako? Sorry I had to ask and put myself out there, but it's driving me crazy

I chose nictus cause it has better stat bonuses and has regeneration in the enhancements. But you arent't wrong for 3 slotting for healing.

Yeah i'm not getting much feedback either. So I made a water/Fire build the way I usually play(hover blaster/blapper). I am actually kind of sad I didn't go with /fire now because it looks like it can tear things up.

I wouldn't call it a reliability as much as an "oh sh**" button.

For one I would replace steam spray with aqua bolt and six slot it with thunderstrike. That will help with ranged defense.

I'll give it a look. what are you going for with this build? Surviving, damage, recharge, ect.? How will you be playing this build specifically so I have an idea on what to comment on.

Well you don't need that many slots in stamina and health. Maybe two in health and three or four in stamina.
You seem to have over slotted on many powers and a lot of them aren't even fitted with io's. -
I posted on the Build forums, but I never really find a lot of help there. So this build I am working on is a hover blaster/blapper build. I built it around having high defense in s/l/range and has quite a few healing powers. Are the stats high enough to be a successful blapper? Or did I overslot/underslot some powers? Any help is appreciated

Is whirlpool really that good? Because in all of my builds on Mids I have been skipping it. That and Steam spray.

I am trying to go for a hover blast/blapper build. Been having some endurance issues at the moment, but he is only level 22. So I am hoping after the IO's I won't need Dark Consumption, but for now lets say he is still having issues and i will change when the time comes.

I really like this build. I'm not very good at min/max with this game, but I like where you went with it. A lot of people have been complaining about the damage output of dark/dark, but people seem to forget that trollers are not a high damaging AT (aside from plant and fire).

I'm planning on making a dp/mm blaster and need some advice. I plan on making him a hoverblaster type and was wondering what powers can I skip? I'm going to skip scare and psychic scream; anything else I should skip/keep?

Every time I type in my user name and password a message comes up saying " The game client was unable to connect to the login server. This may be due to a local network issue such as a firewall block, or may be because the login server is down for maintenance"
I have turned off all my firewalls and checked the server status and it says all servers are up. It kicked me off this morning around 5:15. So whats going on here? -
My DB/Invul scrapper would be mine. I wanted a character that wouldn't faceplant and I ended up with something that could solo +4 AVs. kinda took me by surprise, but in the best way possible

Never been generic'd, but i have heard they give you the generic name and reset your toon's look. Is it possible to get another rename token and can you get the same costume back on?

This sounds like it should be a new powerset for masterminds.
3- photographers- Do range and stun attacks with their cameras.
2- reporters- perfom melee attacks and have a chance to immobilize targets.
1- stalking journalist- Act as bane spiders and can go into "hide", perform critical damage from hide and causes terror up to mag 3.
Masterminds are in need of a new powerset anyways. -
I for one love res type secondaries, because it's easier to softcap defense with set bonuses than res. Just made a quick /DA build and was able to get a well balanced res and softcapped def build.
Course, this is just me. A lot of stalker players like to go for regen, recharge and defense and call it a day. -
A lot of people will say that whatever a stalker can do, a scrapper can do better. Sadly, they are mostly right. I personally love stalkers and a claws/DA is not that bad of a build. Claws has good recharge and dark armor has good resists. So that means you can focus on defense sets from IO's and be very formidable.

My gf is working on a FM/Regen scrapper. They are not my forte to say the least. Anyone have any builds to help us out or one laying around?

I was thinking about a /willpower scrapper. I didn't say the primary because TWs are not out yet, so not sure what is useful and what can be left behind.

Got a question about your build, glasswalkerny. It seems to use up a lot of endurance(2.37 out of 3.47); Do you have any endurance issues or find yourself popping and blues? Because with 11 toggles, if you keep them all up at once or for certain situations, I could see a problem.
I went back and replaced the performance shifter end/acc on stamina and quick recovery with an invention: endurance modification. Not sure if it will make a big difference or not, but it did increase the endurance recovery 9%.
