  1. There's a program called "Tuneup utility's" that you might want to try. It's a full version free trial for about a week. It's very useful for sorting out problems and finding programs running that you might not even know about. You'd be surprised about what can be effecting your system things you didn't know and things you forgot.
  2. All right what do you think of this version.

  3. The new mission is so cool but the boss is hard. (((Bring help.)))
I was a lvl50 tank and got swatted. Not exactly a well built or slotted one but still.
  4. Great looking foreword to the rain shorting out my elec powers. :P
Or maybe it'll be like in pokemon where they get stronger.

Maybe mix and match where they all get stronger but become indiscriminate AOE damaging friend and foe alike. Wouldn't that be fun.

Weather should be used as an accent to special events rather than something that's just there all the time. Like in the Alpha mission that takes place in the ruined super future Oro. Something like having a dark cloudy sky racing with lightning. The occasional crash of thunder. A random lightning strike in the distance. That would be cool.

Ever here of something called swords dance. I remember a version where a hero's??? weapon split into several duplicates and started slicing up the monster. And no I'm not saying which movie it was from because it might have bin one inappropriate for younger viewers. Yup definitely not telling you about a movie that had nothing to do with a Dragon that is Pink.

My SR Scrapper is way too squishy when the hits connect, and while there's now a way for Scrappers to get a temporary defense bonus, there is no way to do the same for resistance. ;_;
    Isn't "tough" resistance.

You do realize that the ones saying it are probably trying dependently not to mention that they are in the closed beta and actually know this for a fact right. Of cores this is just a they I have no way of knowing is its true or not.

Thanks, I know it can be figured out with time but I like to plan things ahead
Best guess says that you start by getting one of the 4 (labeled as common). Thin you can power it up into 1 of 2 (uncommon) thin again (Rare) thin just into one final version (Very rare). Of not is that whin you power it up you don't lose the previous version so you can power it up to both versions and switch between them at will. Giving you 34 possible power-ups.

Slightly less minor: I've got a character that I like a lot that does a lot of -Recharge as a secondary effect, and I don't see a way to boost that. Perhaps this could be made more flexible in the future? (I'm sure things a fixed in stone for I19 and I20.) Like if I give up Healing or Immobilize in one of those powers, can a get a different secondary boost, like -Recharge?

    Just thinking out loud....
Incarnates are incarnation's of ancient power. Like Statsman having the power of Zeus and Lore Recluse having the power of Tartarus. There is no god of hydraulics, or high explosives. You could arguably have Hephaestus the god of the forge for mechanical. And Lain as computational but she is copyright.

My fear is that it's going to end up like purple IOs -- hard to get single ones without farming, nearly impossible to get even a partial set. Since prices for purps are in the 150-300 million range, I'll never be able to afford even a single one in any reasonable time frame. Incarnate IOs will likely be an order of magnitude more difficult to acquire.

I guess it's time to finally give in and have one of my toons on Freedom start farming AE like crazy so I can earn enough Influence to afford this stuff. Two billion ought to be a good start to get a couple of them.
You know you can buy purple IOs now.
At Fort Trident for Hero merits.

From what I read there are no Incarnate IOs there permanently linked to you like inherent powers that can be respected swapped out at will. You don't sell godhood at any price.

I did say that I was sorry about the post. But excuse me if I don't want this game to turn into a horror movie. With my hero splattering innocent bystanders with globs of blood and entrails.
  16. Win I started playing my Willpower/ Electric Melee I, for various reasons, ended up leveling to 50 rather quickly and I didn't realy have the time to carefully consider by build. Now with I19's free fitness pool and corresponding freespect I thought that it would be a good time to get it together. But looking through the forums I can't seem to find one thread on this particular powerset. So I'm seriously hoping that that you all will help me out here. What I what is survivability while soloing and TO NEVER RUN OUT OF END!

Everyone huh, first I've herd about it.
Personally considering that killing even a super villein is still considered against the law in practically every comic in existence probably means something. And that doing something like that to you're enemies would inevitably mean that they could do the same to you. Even to the point of killing you permanently.
Not to mention that no MMORPG anywhere has anything like that.
Or the fact that a major percentage of this games players are adolescents who probably shouldn't be seeing something like that.
Probably means that that idea is the stupidest thing I have ever herd.
I'm sorry but the very idea of something like that disgusts me to no end. And I'd drop this game in an instance if even the option of something like that were created.

When you are seeing this are you in the costume editor or back in game? All the auras have a habit of doing this while working on your costume.
It was the editor. Odd that it's only a problem in the editor.
  20. OK, the for the female body the aura for any option with eyes or the head doesn't seem to sit on the eyes rather they sit in front of them like a pare of wired glasses. It's most noticeable with the thunder head aura. But also seems true of the runes, sparks, tarot, and possibly others.
Edit: Hum the normal aura effect glow also seems to do that.

Ok, in my haste I miswrote that. Instead, have it read "Don't set Shader Quality to N/A." It already locks on High if you set Recommended and lower and then turn on an ultra mode feature.

Anyway, since this is in tech support now, does anyone have any idea of how to fix this ugly sight? This only happens when I set Shaders to Medium and only when the lights are close. At a distance or high/low Shaders, they work fine. I don't remember this happening when GR launched, so did some update bork it?

Is that building on the far left playing tetris? :P

Hmmmm... seems like the plot has been used a time or two. And of course evil versions of the good guys always have beards. Just ask Spock.

I bet the Praetorian Hamidon has a beard.
No the Praetorian Hamidon IS a beard. :P

Basically, it is centered on this one guy, a normal guy, who is going through his normal day. Except, he wakes up to a strange phone call from someone trying to warn him. Then, crossing the street, he nearly gets run over. Some other weird things happen around him, and eventually, he is able to time travel. He goes into the future where a despotic ruler with a beard has this future nation under his iron grip. The leader mocks and degrades the guy. Soon after, the guy travels back in time in this land and tries to warn the people about this leader who will rise up. While waiting for the leader, the guy becomes more and more crazed and grows a beard to show the people who they have to look out for. Of course, he really is the original leader and he has gone crazy. Also, we learn throughout the story that the earlier near-misses are his future selves trying to prevent the guy from traveling through time.

    So, any ideas?
    Spoiler:
The game Infamous has something like that in it's plot line.
