Should be doable. Since you can detect wings for several emotes.
  2. Anyway we can get them to go to another web browser like Firefox or what ever we have set up as our default?

Those would be the people who haven't actually tried it.
  4. What about an effect where drawn weapons appear with a flash of light as if being drawn from someplace/ summoned else or being created right on the spot.
    Here are some examples.
A couple animations I did a long time ago. (I created the animation not the sprite.)

And this diagram I just made.

And last but not least an animation.
  5. We already know of variations of a lot of Earth prime heroes in Praetorian but what about our villains. I know lord recluse is dead, don't know if he stayed dead :P, but what about others.

If I never see another unlockable costume piece it will be too soon. Either make them unlock for the whole account, sell them for real money or drop them in for free. There are PLENTY of other things to earn as rewards for boring, repetitive tasks. Costumes do not need to be among them.
What if it was unlocked by something that you'd hardly have to go out of your way for. Something that you'd probably earn with little or no extra effort. Like the snake killing badge would unlock snake costume peaces. Or something with only the difficulty of the costume slot and cape aura missions.
  7. I think that animal parts have bin mentioned quit enough already so lets skip those posts, can we?
I think some including myself have expressed an interest in having the Halloween costumes year round. That would be an easy add on.
Though I'd like to see it taken a step further. Something like a magic mirror power where you can copy nearly any enemy. At least temporarily.
And or the ability to swipe a random power from an enemy. You could keep it for x amount of time/ or use it x number of times depending on how powerful it is or until you changed it out.
Alternate travel power animations would be nice. I've repeatedly mentioned that I don't like to super-swim to my missions. That's swimming at super speed. Now if you could run on top of the water (sinking when ever you slowed down, don't want to try copying that whole walking on water bit.). Or swim fish/shark like through it rather than that dog paddle, now that would be good. Other ones could be roller blades. Skateboard. Hover Bord. One of those silly mono wheel motorcycles you some times see in cartoons.
Costume specific animations. Arm cannons replacing the slandered blaster powers. Heroic looking villein epic power peaces.
  8. I turned into a riki!!!

    Mutation: Devolution
Do to a (hopefully) temporary mutation, you have devolved into a Rikti monkey! None of your powers work for the time being.
  9. Starting with the Org armor makes the trench coat option disappear.
Edit: It seams to be that Trench coats and wings in general don't mix.

Such a piece would, I think, notably increase the "mix and match" potential of the set.
Yah. I would love glow lines on normal skin.
  11. I think that these sets are something like test beds for others that will be maid/released later.
I know that they have bin working on glow items for a little while know. And not specifically for peaces like these.

It might be that I cannot use Ultra Mode; Is Bioluminate supposed to, well, luminate? They shed no light at all.
Check the male boots they have heals to. :P

  14. Upper body> Jackets> Gloves> Monstrous
There are 3 listings under that name and the second is missions something. The right hand. Left appears to be the bio lum.
  15. The icon of the power that you click and the one that shows that it's active don't match.
  16. The winds on the organic armor wings don't realy blend well with the female version organic armor. They just seem to jut out of things. This is all well and good with a flat surface but with the bumps and protuberances it looks odd. Adding shadow to the base would be a quick fix.

Make it something that can be set like the prompt for teleport in the option menu. That should make every body happy. Provided that there moderately intelligent. And considering how many that aren't you should include a check box in the popup that will disable it.
  18. Draw animations for guns have bin mentioned several times as has "beast run".

I'd also like some sort of 2 player interactive emotes. Something like a glomp, friendlily tackle, kiss or hug. It wouldn't be as hard as you might think. Configure them like target-able attacks/buffs with zero or little effect. A small heal for a blown kiss. A short knockdown/back for a tackle hug.
A proper sleep emote. I'm tiered of standing while sleeping. Doable but not to conferable. :P
Anyway to link it to the rest power? I'd be cool if you could link any/most emote to replace the basic rest.

This better not become the next "Nemesis plot"-type saying.
Ahem, I'll take this moment to remind the board that pestering him about anything related to Going Rouge such as: the Incarnation/new endgame system, side swiching, or enything concerning the new enemy groups, or Praetorian Hero/Villein regulars. Would be grosly improper and anoying as heck.
So what are you waiting for start grilling him. : P

Or maybe they just wanted the trademark for some reason.

My guess is, it's in the very very VERY early planning stages.
My guess is that someone else was trying to copyright the name out from under them.

For those of you who may not have seen this information, customers who place an early reserve for the City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection at GameStop will receive a Razer Sphex gaming desktop skin with a Going Rogue design, five unique enhancements and a $5 off coupon for use at the Razer store. These benefits are in limited quantities.

I would like to take this time to provide some insight as to how this initiative came about.

What is the Goal of this Promotion?
As many of you have picked up on, City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection is really designed to attract new players to the game. One of the greatest challenges new MMO players face is learning how the game works. The enhancements are designed to make the starting experience even more convenient for these new players, but we didn’t want them to be game-breaking, or make our veteran players feel like they had to have them as well.

This is why these are only provided to new characters and cannot be sold/traded/stacked. First, you can’t have enough of them to 6-slot out any power. Secondly, for a L1 character, that 16% damage/recharge boost is nice, but once you hit L20+, IO’s start getting a lot more competitive. The proc rate is low to begin with, and at L21 they won’t even kick in anymore. A L50 character could use these enhancements if they chose to, of course.

We believe this would benefit the new players much more, as our veteran players have a better understanding of the options available to them.

    Why Now?
When we launched the prepurchase program, we did not plan on offering incentives for preordering the Complete Collection. A preorder program is different from a prepurchase, and we did not see a value in offering competing programs.

Since we launched our prepurchase program, we have been having discussions with GameStop, Razer and some of our other partners about new ways to promote the launch of Going Rogue. As some of you have mentioned, as a new expansion for a major MMO, Going Rogue deserves a lot of attention. We agree with you, and so did our partners. But evaluating ideas and nailing down the details took a good amount of time, which is why you haven’t heard about it until now.

    Why Are We Doing This?
As you probably know, GameStop is the top gaming-focused retailer in the US. When they expressed interest in putting together this new program, it felt like a great way to get the word out on Going Rogue and to make sure every GameStop store in the country was promoting our launch.

Fine, but what about people who don’t have a GameStop nearby, or don’t shop there? That’s where Razer comes in. As part of the GR launch, Razer will be launching their own GR site, promoting CoH in all of their forums, newsletters, providing a coupon for GR customers and even designing a brand new mouse pad with our help.

So we decided to pool our resources to create one powerful marketing campaign, designed to create an opportunity that seemed so interesting that someone who doesn’t yet play CoH would be interested enough to try this game.

Our goal is not to force anyone’s hand, or cause you to feel regrets. This was an amazing opportunity to have two of the strongest names in the gaming industry support the launch of Going Rogue, and we feel confident that it will provide some of the visibility and buzz you have been asking for. One of the biggest features in Going Rogue is that we are redefining the new player experience. Our partners are helping us make that experience even more attractive.

Will There be Any Other Preorder Programs?
We have no plans at this time to have any other preorder program.

    What About Prepurchasers?
We do understand that some of our prepurchase customers may have decided differently had they known upfront that this preorder program was coming. This is why we tried to make the in-game goodies something that would have a stronger value for new players than for existing veterans. We do hope you’ve enjoyed these past few months with early access to Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning. Prepurchasing Going Rogue is still the only way to get early access to these two awesome new power sets.

If you have any other questions or concerns that were not addressed by me, or in the information released by GameStop or Razer, please let me know in this thread. I want to make sure that you have all of the information available to you, and that details of this promotion are as transparent as possible.
One problem with this promotion. New players wouldn't have the slightest idea what inspiration's are, what to do with them, or even have the remotest idea of there value. For someone who's not familiar with the game they sound practically worthless.
  23. Meant to work from 1-20. So it's meant to be used primarily in Praetoria?

    3. Profit.
Better idea. Just invite them. No reason that there would be any conflict with the praetorian dimension. Tyrant could even propose an alliance against Earth prime. There could even be dissension within the Riki clans:
some who want to ally against E prime,
some who are allied with E prime against Pretoria,
some who want pace with both and will fight any who doesn't,
and some who want to fight both.

You could even make a Pretoria equivalent of Riki Prime.
