  1. The first spines attack. I had hoped when claws had it's "scrapperlock flail attack" removed, spines would follow suit, but it never happened and I never rolled one as a result.
  2. I loved this movie. Almost wall to wall action with some really nice quiet moments by Beckinsdale. Selene is an engine of determined destruction and rarely stops.

She bodychecks a moving panel van. I almost jumped out my seat it was so sudden and glorious.
  3. Powerset: Regen
    Single Power: Integration

Twinshot didn't exist when I first did the story arc. But it would not surprise me.
  5. I just got a Grav/FF controller to 50 this weekend and took him into a BAF. It rocked. I admit I have a LOT of accuracy and recharge boosts, but the affair went very smoothly during the prisoner phase.

I and the sing immobed the minions while DPS took out the rest. With containment and Fireball, and Repulsion Bomb (which does not get containment bonuses...grr) I actually did okay with helping.

Performance is just going to improve as I add Incarnate bonuses. At +3 I should be able to mow down minion groups and gouge large hp chunks out of the survivors.

I have not done a Lambda yet. I've built my favorite trial characters so that I could survive alone (mostly) in the acids and grenades section, but I don't know if it will be possible even for a +3 controller. Maybe I can find a way to use Force Dome.

  7. The thing is, Statesman didn't really inspire any of my characters. I see how Statesman died as the theft of a nuclear bomb and that bomb needs to be retrieved.
  8. Nuke the site from orbit, have Numina summon the shade for questioning.

Aaron walker's death makes me sad and angry every time. There have been times where I have intentionally not played any Warden arc after his because I do not want his icon to phase out.

In the Ricochet's final crusader mission where we can either escape the gas filled station or go back and rescue Rothstein and get you both out. I rescue Rothstein and his dialogue touches me. It's someone who has lost everything and doesn't care if he lives or dies. I save him and it's Richochet's response who makes me think that she's Praetorian Clamor.

Wardog's unfolding history also touched me. His life was peeled away leaving a methodical anger ridden husk. I was sad when I killed him...but he had to die.

The flashback in First Ward where you withness the creation of an Apparition. It was a visceral and almost untenable experience. Not being able to stop it, I almost rebooted my machine because it was just horrible and cemented Tillman's monster status beyond what I learned just levelling up and badging in Praetoria.

Most recently: Matthew Hashaby learning his wife was alive and then putting himself through hell to save her.
  10. Selene and Alice in the same year.

    So...AWESOME!!!
  11. more metasourcing of powers? Really? I really don't like it.
  12. I ran into someone in Praetoria who's background blamed all of Praetoria's problems on Obama.

Emperor Cole and the Hamidon were Obama's fault.

Can we have the Malaise pattern back? I'll buy it in the store....pleeeeaase?

Per the mechanics, we are effectively being de-powered by the Seers. The presentation should support that. Someone who doesn't even play, just looking at the screen should be able to say, "those rocks are hurting because you are being de-powered by those creepy floating ladies".

Not "how are those rocks hurting you when you are a giant robot?"
The rocks should work like Phantom Wounds with full HP recharge instead of partial. The battle is for the hearts and minds of Praetoria and Phantom Wounds could be an extrapolation of how much the public hates you and the Scryers take that hate and channel it making it capable of grievous perceived harm.

With another level, the rocks should become something more threatening, gaining different graphics when they're picked up. The more Seers present, the more "wrong" the stuff they are hurling at the PC's.
  16. Note that only works if Charlie Brown has his six psionic back up dancers to debuff the Batallion with their Solid Gold era moves.

Drinking Enriche, as was brought up earlier, seems like a reasonable way of doing it. Mind and body control in a bottle.
Particularly since Marauder powers up in Lambda drinking his "super juice" from an Enriche bottle.

Who knows whats in that stuff now?

They're in you're head, they're making you feel worthless and doubt yourself. It's just a horrifying concept and something I can easily imagine.

Hell, they should add captions to the trial that evoke that effect.
It sounds like more advanced version the "fake damage" Illusion Controllers inflict.

    The Elder's Writings...is...so...AWESOME!

I'm trying to work up enough courage to start trying to become a serial marryier by sending my husbands into doom, taking their stuff and redawning the Amulet of Mara and doing it again.

But...I feel guilty just thinking about it.
  21. I'm not touching that "other game" until it's ah...relationship patch...goes live. CoH, the Distinguished Competition, and various offline rpgs, are more than enough to keep me occupied.
  22. Hello new humans, cake and pie are in the corner. Suicide booths require a significant fee and are in the back.

    Enjoy your stay.
