This is 3 missions long. 1 clicky, and 2 Boss defeats. Hopefully a decent storyline. I appreciate any comments or criticism. The last mission is meant to be hard. That is because I have a special place in my villainous heart for the type of Boss at the end. =p
I use Longbow at first and then the rest is all custom. Not too hard at all until you get to the final boss. Even then I don't think it's THAT hard. But opinions, of course, vary.

I did something similar and did my testing with Blaster and a Stalker. I thought the squishier side of things would do it. Well, I got compliments on costumes, storyline, but my choice of minions was not desireable for the same reason as yours. You can't please everyone, but you can at least test with some different AT's so you understand where people might be coming from. Not every MA mission will be good for everyone, just like the game now. Don't like having Lts. healing minions? Well, don't fight the Tsoo. Y'know, that kind of thing.

I changed 3 of my 4 minions from ranged to melee. They still use their ranged attacks but don't run away to use them. They'll stay up close. Admittedly, chasing down minions in every mob is not fun.

I believe it went something like switching the merit vendors to Hero Corps contacts (Blueside). I'd also add to that by changing the Merit Reward Salvage to something like Credits for heroes and Cash for Villains.

Give people merits for doing other people's entire mission arc and I'll be a lot happier with it. I had aided a friend last week with about 20 levels. I completed the arcs right along with him. Then I realized that Iyiyiyiyi!!!!!! I've been gypped! He wanted to give me half, but alas, he couldn't. So after a nice week of teaming I am back to solo. SOLOnely.

I think that if I run someone's entire mission arc with them that I should get SOME form of Merit reward.

If Firethorn is like me, he probably used a pic of himself since models (especially guys) are kind of hard to come by unless people really know you. Getting them to pose is even harder. I've made pictures similar in style so if I had to guess I would say that it truely is a real dude.

So I'd do a video showing aspects of the game that highlight its variety: Circle of Thorns in the very Lord of the Rings dungeons in Oranbega; Rularuu in the Shadow Shard; street punks in Perez; Sky Raiders in Terra Volta; Fir Bolg and Tuatha in Croatoa; ghosts in Dark Astoria; vampires and werewolves in Striga; Romans in Cimerora; Nemesis and Malta mechs, the Carnival... so many cool things, and so different from each other.

Plus the different powers. Martial arts and shields, energy blasters and sword wielders... so many choices.

BaBs doesn't want to have you running at super speeds while using the walking animation, nor walking while slowed to the point where you're practically just standing in place. There's a lot of issues that made BaB say it's not so simple as just making new animations.

To add walking into the game we're looking at anywhere from 15 to 75 animations. That would get us a single 'style' of walking for the male, female, and huge player models. Doubtful that we'd ever be able to create a single walk animation that would make everyone happy...based on the mixed feedback about flight poses and the new hover animations.

We're not opposed to adding walking into the game...it's just really hard to prioritize it over so many other things that require animation time.

That's really too bad since I've put my video stuff on hold waiting for it. =( I thought that maybe since you showed it in the video where you introduced Wings that it might be coming. I know people would start asking for this and that kind of walking animation but I'd be happy with just one. After all, there is just one running animation, right??? RIGHT??? (Excluding auras)

With all of the changes in this issue I seriously dont understand why they just dont do away with redside alltogether. Do away with cross faction pvp altogether. Hell? Just get rid of pvp in the game alltogether too. Make it City of Hero's again, pretend there never was a game called Citty of Villian's and call it all good.

I like my Villains. I'd rather play them over Heroes almost any day. That idea stinks under my nose and I would never support it. So !

Love the new design. Looks great so far. I've been working way too much lately so I guess I'll have to delve into it tomorrow more when I only work one shift.

You know what I really like about the "HUD" is that Dark Armor folks can now have a head inside of all that blob. I'm at work and can't post a pic. But it does show up through the Dark Armor stealth. Thanks for that to all involved in bringing that to us. I really have enjoyed this package and think it was well worth the money.

Just turned 50 on Hex-Vex last night! Woot! My 7th 50. I never seem to get tired of it. I won't be deleting this fella though. Rad/Therm Corruption has been a great teaming toon for me.

And to think that all this time I was thinking this whole Sexy Jay thing was just hype! Okay.... I was wrong. Sorry Jay. Go-go gadget stealth camera!

You don't know of even one person who character-jumps to get a certain character in on an invasion??? I jump from Hero to Villain all of the time so I appreciate the two-sided communication on invasions. Of course, understanding that you don't give a rats whisker about how anyone else plays, I can see why it would annoy you.

I refer to the fact that not everyone is going to want to change the name of their character. What if they just want to play their same character without changing the name but on a different server to maintain continuity but with other people?

Well then now would be a good time to act. I have a character named Land-Lock on at least 3 servers. I only use the one on Pinnacle. I can't recall exactly why I did this. It may have been altitis. Reguardless, I'm at least confident now that when I want to move him to another server I'll be successful. There is a very small window of time between deletion and transfer verification. I've already reserved the name on the servers I would transfer to.

I'm sorry. Why is it that Freedom people think we're all rushing over there? I missed it.

Which is really too bad, in a way. I had some keen characters I would have like to have brought back from the dead. I just left their copy on test to play with when I get alt-sick.

Well you're a Devices user. It doesn't sen to far off any point to think that you might be able to teleport them. What's less believeable is that you can use a puddle of Texas Tea to bring back a party from death.

Is one more cool than the other...Oh Hell yeah! But believeable.... I don't think so.
