  1. I would want to see ranged powers (Electrical, Energy, Fire, Ice, Radiation, & Sonic) to have animations added so they can be fired from either a tech looking laser pistol, magic looking wand/staff or a tech looking rod, in addition to the original animations.

It doesn’t need to happen all at once, they can slowly be converted.

Super Strength Knockout Blow & Foot Stomp to have the Thunder Strike animation added.

I would love to see the Triage Beacon get a recovery bonus, & would like the Tree of Life to get a small +Damage Resistance bonus added to it (like the Devouring Earth Cairns get).

The CrossGen characters would be better under a separate imprint, instead of having Quesada shoehorn them into the Marvel Universe.

But having them back in an altered form is better than not having them at all; hopefully they wont change the personalities of the characters too much.

Not to mention, I already bought most of those packs. I'd be a bit annoyed if I had to basically buy them again.

PS: the free 'lite' version can hold back the power customization, cape, aura, unlockable weapons/costume parts and booster pack parts as well as any DLable stuff released later and the ability to save costume/characters for use by the actual game. That's still sufficient content that would warrant actually purchasing this app if it were ever made.

I was looking at it from the standpoint of putting more money in NCsoft/Paragon Studios’ pockets, but your idea is better & more customer friendly.

    I hope they implement it.
  8. Even if it’s a standalone creator that doesn’t synch to the game it could still be successful.

And I would recommend going the add-on pack route.

    Example of store listing:

Apps for the Iphone & Ipod Touch 2nd gen.

    Character Creator Lite - Free
(Free App with limited features/costumes to get people hooked on using the app)

Character Creator Full Version - $9.99

The Add-on packs listed below require purchase of CC Full Version:

CC Add-on pack: Super Booster I: Cyborg $1.99

CC Add-on pack: Super Booster II: Magic $1.99

CC Add-on pack: Super Booster III: Superscience $1.99

CC Add-on pack: Super Booster IV: Martial Arts $1.99

CC Add-on pack: Wedding Pack $1.99

CC Add-on pack: App Store Combo Pack #1 $1.99
    (** contains Justice/Sinister & Valkyrie costume pieces)

Edit: The bracket () description on the CC Lite above wouldn’t appear in the store listing (obviously).
  9. This is a Tech based control set for Controllers & Dominators where all the powers (except the pet) are fired from an Assault Rifle to avoid redraw.

It also provides a different feel from the other control sets (e.g. High Tech Hunter instead of Superpowers) and can be used with a wide range of roleplaying themes (crime fighting Inventor, gadget using Soldier/Vigilante/Bounty Hunter/Mercenary).

Looking at the other controller powersets, they are generally broken down into this format:

    Foe Immobilize
    Foe Hold
    AoE Foe Immobilize
    AoE Foe Disorient
    AoE Foe Hold
    Pet

Other powers that are included in some of the sets:

    AoE Foe Slow
    AoE Foe -To Hit
Damage Mitigation: Either Sleep, Confuse, Fear, or Location Knockback

Using that as a guide I came up with this:

Synaptic Shutdown: Ranged, Moderate DoT (Energy), Foe Immobilize

Riot Control: Ranged, Moderate DoT (Energy), Foe Hold

Wide Area Web Grenade: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Foe: Immobilize -Recharge -Fly

Fog of War: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Foe - To Hit, -Perception, -Defense

Glue Grenade: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Foe -Speed, -Recharge

Concussion Blast: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Knockback, Disorient

Chemical Warfare: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Minor DoT (Toxic), Foe Hold

Friendly fire: Ranged (Cone), Foe Confuse

Mobile Armored Support: Summon Robotic Automaton

New powers would be Synaptic Shutdown, Riot Control, Fog of War, Concussion Blast, Chemical Warfare, Friendly fire & Mobile Armored Support.

Powers that deal damage: Synaptic Shutdown (Single Target, Moderate), Riot Control (Single Target, Moderate), Chemical Warfare (AoE, Minor DoT), Mobile Armored Support (Pet))

Glue Grenade exists as a PPD power & Wide Area Web Grenade exists as a Soldier of Arachnos power.

Synaptic Shutdown is a dart that is fired into your opponent & it emits an energy pulse that disrupts a body’s nervous system, temporarily immobilizing them. It also disrupts the electrical systems of a machine.

Riot Control is a more powerful version of the Synaptic Shutdown power which causes an overload that temporarily incapacitates the target.

Fog of War launches a military issue non-lethal gas canister into the midst of your enemies that envelops them in a corrosive chemical cloud that obscures the vision of the targets & lowers their defense.

Concussion Blast is a shell that is fired at long range from your weapon. The force from this explosion will disorient & knockback targets caught within the affected area. (This power deals no damage.)

Chemical Warfare is a canister that is launched towards your enemies that upon impact envelops them in a noxious gas cloud, rendering them helpless and does damage over time.

Friendly fire is a device that emits a pulse that disrupts the neural net of all enemies caught in the beam, causing confusion in their ranks; unable to tell friend from foe they will fire upon one another. (Extremely Long Recharge)

The Mobile Armored Support is a high tech unmanned all-terrain battlefield platform.

    Ideas for how it looks.

Like all other Controller pets it cannot be controlled by the caster once summoned; this machine has 3 ranged attacks, 2 post death special powers, & no melee attacks.

The pet is generic enough to be used in either a Hero powerset or Villain powerset.

When the Mobile Armored Support is destroyed it explodes damaging nearby enemies & reassembles into 3 extremely fragile Nanobots.

    Mobile Armored Support powers:

Burst: Ranged, Moderate DoT (Lethal), Foe -DEF
Slug: Ranged, High (Lethal), Foe Knockback
M30 Grenade: Ranged, Targeted AoE, Moderate (Lethal/Smash), Foe Knockback

Explode: Post death special (AoE, Lethal/Fire)

Resistance: Auto, *Res to All * Vulnerable to Energy & EMP attacks

    Nanobot Assembly: Post death special

When the Mobile Armored Support is destroyed some of its parts can reassemble into 3 fragile Nanobots that are 2 levels less than you.

    Nanobot powers:

Mini Burst: Ranged, Minor DoT (Lethal), Foe -DEF
Micro Synaptic Shutdown: Ranged, Minor DoT (Energy), Foe Immobilize

    Resistance: Auto, Self, Vulnerabilities
These Nanobots are weakly resistant to sleep & lethal damage, and they are extremely vulnerable to all other forms of damage.

The Nanobot powers are weaker versions of Burst & Synaptic Shutdown.

The idea for Explode is inspired by the Sky Raiders Jump Bot Incinerator & the Nanobots are inspired by the gears that spawn after a Clockwork Prince is defeated.

If the consensus of the forums is that 2 post death powers is too much, then I can lose the Explode power.
