Maybe it will be a trilogy, with the sequels 10-15 years apart.

Someday we will see Mage: The Hero Denied and Kevin Matchstick will do whatever he's going to do.

Don't be silly. He's not some comic book villain. He did what he was going to do 20 years ago.

Bah... here I was, all excited about seeing my absolute favourite Storyteller world being adapted to screen, salivating over Verbena and Akashic Brotherhood cabals only to once again have my hopes dashed on the cruel rocky shores of someone else's reality... humbug!

The first Mage was a terrific book, one of the best comics of the 20th century IMHO. But I hope they don't intend to film the second. It was not very good.

Could this news mean that a Grendel film is possible? I may actually get to see the end of civilization after all.

I'm not hopeful that Wagner's vision will survive the transition to the big screen.

I loved Mage: The Hero Discovered It was neat play on the King Arthur Legend.

Mage: The Hero Defined was all right, but suffered from the first series Awesomeness. The art suffered as well, as Sam Kieth who inked the first series and gave Wagner's art that Dark Cartoony look, either wasn't available or had other commitments and couldn't ink part 2.
