When are we going to get the true comic book adaption we've all been waiting for: the Ferret?

The first Mage was a terrific book, one of the best comics of the 20th century IMHO. But I hope they don't intend to film the second. It was not very good.
Could this news mean that a Grendel film is possible? I may actually get to see the end of civilization after all.

I'm not hopeful that Wagner's vision will survive the transition to the big screen.

My City Was Gone
I loved Mage: The Hero Discovered It was neat play on the King Arthur Legend.
Mage: The Hero Defined was all right, but suffered from the first series Awesomeness. The art suffered as well, as Sam Kieth who inked the first series and gave Wagner's art that Dark Cartoony look, either wasn't available or had other commitments and couldn't ink part 2.
