Androgenous hero can't have an exclusively female name... perhaps Andy Rogenous? A.N.D.Rogenous? Perhaps a relative of E.Rogenous?

What a shame that audio is such an artform. It is truly difficult to replace long text with audio.. now if those text reading programs were to move on apace, then you COULD put long stories in your games.

Apparatchik : Soviet/Communist character. Possibly in a suit to represent a bureacratic day job.
If used as a Boss, (s)he could possibly be part of a New Class faction.
[edit]Could be named Apparatchick or Apparatchic for some flavouring. -

Are any suggestions as simple as this ever added to the game..
I cant recall any "simple suggestions" like this one, that has made it into game
[/ QUOTE ]
Although we see good ideas being implemented, it was probably so long ago that they were suggested that nobody who suggested them is still alive*cough* I mean playing, I meant playing! -
Exactly. I mean, it's all very well making a sticky with these details in it (is there one?) but people don't tend to even read stickies.

How about a system where they auto save for the map you're on and reload when you re-enter the area.
Also, it would be nice if you could indicate an area on the map to other players. Useful for hunting non-marked things - such as exploration badges and also for showing your team where the Keygroup spawns are in Safeguard/Mayhem missions.
On a related note, I'd like to be able to see the names of the neighbourhoods on the map (perhaps as a text-on-mouseover thing). -
How about a tutorial to introduce new players to the chat system?
I have been introducing new players to the "union chat" channel for ages now, it's a necessary evil, but I'm sure we would all agree that knowledge of HOW to do this could be done through a simple fun lesson?
Also, it might be useful to make a standard global server channel (perhaps "server_name$ Chat"?) so that new players wouldn't have to scramble about in the dark so much? I remember when I began playing, it was as if there was no community at all until I discovered where everybody was chatting. -

The costume parts from booster 2 do look great, they were posted, but got removed

I disagree. Still, the bat bottom thing is funneh! -
Most of those are already gone on my server.
Only; Ragnaris, Shinobis & Fraud are available. -
I've been scanning through the various recipes available to my characters as they level. I find that a level 26 recipe which requires a Mu Vestment is extremely cheap. At level 26, Mu Vestments are still very expensive becaise the same recipe at level 39 uses the same components. This is a huge 13 level range through which a lot of inf is usually collated, therefore affording the higher level character a greater degree of spending power.
What I suggest is that level 26-32 (arbitrary figure, since I haven't done any maths) have different components be required, and 33-39 be another set of components required, so that lower level enhancements are more affordable to players at those lower levels. -

What if you're trying to bid several identical non-salvage items? e.g. I want to buy 2 damage enhancments for x inf but non are available at the moment, so I leave the bids and carry on playing/logout/whatever.
[/ QUOTE ]
Eh? Fine. What's that got to do with the suggestion?
[ QUOTE ]
Deleting your old bid is only a minor nuisance anyway.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's right, but having to do a search for the same item, when it's just sitting right there in the bid slot is inconvenient. -
Currently, if we wish to alter the bid on an item, we have to do a search for it and then remove the current item and bid on it again.
How about a button to change your bid for an item, which effectively removes the current bid from WW, changes it and puts it back up on the same item? -
I didn't see a link to this anywhere on EU.
Of particular note is the "humour" article on likely Mission Architect missions. I think they're spot on about the Positron one. I had that in mind for a while now. I think there will be a few where players remake drab existing missions/arcs.

If you want to make PVP more interesting, I suggest making an objective which stays in one state until flipped by the opposing faction, and make it affect gameplay out of the PvP zone. e.g. a 5% side-wide PvE & PvP damage buff, which flips from side to side depending on who flipped it last. So it would affect EVERYBODY, all the time on either red or blue side.
This idea is nicked off DAoC which arguably had some of the best PvP ever. They used to have relics which were kept in keeps. Your realm could steal enemy relics and you could then store all of the relics in one of your keeps for bonus %age stats (I think there was a melee damage relic and a magic damage one). This was then a big target for the enemy, and PvE players were interested because of the bonus.
There was never a reset to neutral (well, hardly ever - although I think they may have changed the rules on this later on), and if your realm was weak, you had to live with the consequences (although on most servers the relics did flip from one side to another, this was a massive undertaking - I'm not sure it needs to be such an epic scale as DAoC was (hundreds per side, and yes, extremely laggy - yet still incredibly fun)).
I believe this would work because the two sides (as far as I can tell) are formed into the following:
Hero side: Many, many players, very few interested in PvP
Villain side: Very few players, but a high %age of them interested in PvP- especially as certain ATs suit PvP more than hero side ATs.
I think the sides may even each other out. -

You can have a robotic arm, a pegleg and a pirate hook. How much more disabled do you want to be? While it's used to good effect in X-men and Ironside, I think I'd rather devs spent time doing making another Super Booster that I won't buy.
Oh... hang on!
[edit]Challenge: Let's face it, the devs aren't bright enough! They couldn't do this, they don't know how!
