They require care and love. Give them the good IOs! Kinetic Combat is your friend(So is eradication). While running through mobs Energy Absorption easily ups your Smash/leth/Energy/NegEng Defense to 70%. What? Ice doesn't have good resistance??? This is true, but ice does have solid hit points, a great self heal, and Hibernate if things go downhill quickly(I hardly ever have to use Hibernate). The reason you may not be so convinced is that Ice tanks are somewhat rare. They are often overshadowed by Invul, stone, and willpower. Like I said before; Ice tankers are "Underrated and Overpowered." Aggro control is very good. So is survivability. Its good. Trust me.

Ice patch will work for crowd control, cause you can't fight if you can't stand, and icesicles keeps hitting them keeping aggro on you. Is this logic wrong?

Looking for that tank that survives and crowd control that keeps his team alive. other armor's keep YOU alive maybe not the team. Ice seems to have powers that do more than keep you alive, they keep the baddies from having the ability to reach your teammates, and attack at a normal rate.

Is this the best armor you think for survivability and protecting your team? anyone please comment and yes ice patch is sec. i know that with that being said you think ice/ice is the best for those reasons above listed?
    I approve this message!

Yeah, this is my ice tank build. its too easy to play.
  5. When you say something like defense. Only 1 tanker comes to mind. Ice Armor. Gives you great defense to Smash/Leth/Eng/NegEng/fire/cold. The def to fire and cold are less but the resistance makes up for that. It also has a good self heal that just so happens to be a hit point booster. My hit points cap every time I hit that power. The only real problem it has is psionic damage, but your hit points and "Oh cap" button "Hibernate" easily counter this disadvantage. MoStatesman before incarnates on mine. Ice Armor is underrated and overpowering.

    And 100% Recharge time resistance!!!!

  6. This is 4real PvP. I don't know what you guys have been playing.....

  7. This guy looks pretty tough.

It just ain't gonna happen and you're delusional if you think it will.

There's a better chance of the Sisterhood hosting a redside event than there is a redside hami raid.

  12. Yes! yes I know!!! It's too good to be true!!! The weekly Cathedral of Pain is back!!! Every Friday @8pm(est) meet in Pocket D. Now you are wondering. What is the strategy??? Be in and out in less than 15 minutes. Nothing new or fancy. So yeah. Come back down to Pocket D and get in on some of this sweet action! And you get a week long temporary pwr. And because we start 1 hour before the MSR, you'll be done in plenty of time to zone and get you taste of Rikti smashing action! Have any questions? Comments? Concerns? Cool beans.

The information is up on LFA, would someone in LB set the information as motd? plz and ty.

Anyone with fingers can hit barrier and judgment. That is probably why so many more plp are joining in.

Nerf the crap out of those 2!!!

And Inspiration is sooo much cheaper than a 4real pvp build. I would know....Reds and Yellows son! (this is part where you say n00b XD

  15. Yeah. I'm looking to buy a +3def proc. 2billion preferred, 2.5 at the most.

    best ST chain?

Energy Melee PvE: Build Up, Assassin's Strike, Energy Transfer, Total Focus (always works for me. Why won't it work for you?)

Energy Melee PvP: Frenzy, build up, 2 Righteous Rage, Assassin's Strike, Energy Transfer, Total Focus, If they're not dead by now...Rinse and repeat.
(usually works for me. Why won't it work for you?)

Get your Recharge high enough and you can do 2 Assassin's Strikes on 1 build up! omg!

ps, don't build your blasters for def, build them for recharge!
  18. Any toon can be awesome with the right build.

Try and think of stalkers as blasters that play only in melee with the exception of sharks. Def is very easy to soft cap and you get best single target attack in the game! Sure you have the potential to get 1 shoted by a AV, but I've watched a fully IOed stone tank get 2shoted by Reichman as well as a fully IOd electric tank. (you don't need a stone tank for Master of btw. A fully slotted Ice Tanker does just fine).

If you want to up the stalker's hit points, I say you have to take away the damage from Assassin's Strike. Its the only way to keep it balanced. Basically you'd be turning a stalker into a hidden scrapper.

I think the incarnate system (post alpha) has killed Master of Task Forces for me (not the fake MOs "trials"). Back in the day you had to have a great team mix. Now a days you just throw in some incarnates and oh! We have a Mobadge and it wasn't even a challenge!!! Thank you for reading my thoughts. I'll just take my opinions back to the minority section.
