  4. Yep tis why I got the basic plunker attack. Gives me SOMETHING to do when im not healing the pets with aid other or repair. Ill consider screwing around with adding photon and repulsion together and seeing where it might go.

    I like it, does bomb and photon work that well together? My only niggle is I really dont want to spend a whole lot on defence IO's like Lotg....I dont mind the pet Io's since they are my main attacks and keeping them upright is the correct thing to do. Same with the 2 sets of uni travel keeping me on my feet. Is the regen and health that substantial?

    Wow...that was supreamly unhelpfull. I already had assault in my build. The rest is not even that benifical for a MM numbers wise I thought.
  7. So this is my first try at a bots/ff MM. I figured that trying to get the defence to positional was a good idea, but right now im stumped. What else should I build for or am I heading in the right direction.

  8. You know there are some films you go to the theater and watch and say ...eh ok.

    Then there are some films you go to the theater and say that was good.

    Then you watch the Avengers movie and know that you have 6 months to a year before you can buy it and have it to cherish on dvd/blue ray and watch all the awsome scenes again and again.

    I normally dont go and rewatch films in the theater, but the Avengers movie is one that if I had to see it again and again, I wouldnt feel its a waste of money. Even if I had to pay 3d prices repeatedly.


    God that was a awsome watch from start to finish.

    I normally dont do this but hot damn am I buying the blueray for all the extended scenes and other extras. This is one of the few movies I think paying the extra for the blueray is so FREAKING WORTH IT.

  14. I do wonder something, on provoke I understand you use it for tanking/pet control. But why not 2 slot it and add a acc value to it. I assume you know that the presence power pool powers are unlike scrapper challange and tank taunts are not auto hit? Adding in two mocking beratement would add 1.8 more end to your build and bring up your recovery slightly along with decreasing your miss factor even with a fully slotted tactics. It would also help offset a tiny bit of the 1.8/1.3 with incarnate on end drain. Also if you wanted to and had slots leftover from optimizing, getting beratement to 5 slots would add more aoe and melee defence.

    The only other thing I can comment on is why not switch places on SJ and combat jump so that you have a real travel power earlier? I get that this is a build used to tank things at lvl 50, and that with ninja run and beast run you dont really need a travel power as early as you used too in this game. But if you exempt at all, which I can see your not planning to anytime soon, wouldnt a true travel be better?
  15. Ok, was that origionally when I put it in. But forgot I switched it to see what the defence one would give me as buff, and most definetly cardiac is the one ill use once I get that high.

    On charector.....I always said that if I did ever make one, thats the name I would have. I always go for the pun, cause if you can't have pun with a charector why make it? I still have to figure out what the word is of course.

    After fiddling around I realized that with double manuvers I was hemmoraging end too much, along with the end off of hasten. I of course understand that dropping manuvers lowers my base defence. I think I shored it up to a semi acceptable level. If you can persuade me I'll bring it back.

  18. So over this last double xp weekend I finally decided to make a SOA, so I could at least have one of the EAT (tried kelds im too slot obsessed to actually get that to work). Of all the styles of play I think I find that the tank/pet crab seems to be the one I'd most like.

    Only problem is am I doing this right? So far im only level 30 but this is what I hope my build can be like.

  20. you know I just thought of something, are the devs going to turn off the MARTY code for the event? I understood it's in game to prevent abuse and to actually prevent gold farmers and such but this dbl xp is the weeked that some folks that dont, ususlly start to semi or majorly power level. Wouldnt MARTY put a crimp in that?
