So over this last double xp weekend I finally decided to make a SOA, so I could at least have one of the EAT (tried kelds im too slot obsessed to actually get that to work). Of all the styles of play I think I find that the tank/pet crab seems to be the one I'd most like.

Only problem is am I doing this right? So far im only level 30 but this is what I hope my build can be like.

My own Crab Spider's primary build is all melee, no pets. I've tinkered with a number of different "MasterCrab" builds but none of them have been able to displace my tank-like primary. But, I do have an old spec here that is similar to yours... high defenses, melee attacks and pets.

I skipped Hasten but took all three pet powers. I would rather have a non-permanent Arachnobot Blaster than all the Spiderlings in Grandville. I also took Taunt so that I could keep my pets from getting in to trouble. Pets that aggro bosses and get killed are not as permanent as their high recharge values might indicate.

This is an old build so your old copy of Mids' should load it without a problem.

Thread name or charector???

On charector.....I always said that if I did ever make one, thats the name I would have. I always go for the pun, cause if you can't have pun with a charector why make it? I still have to figure out what the word is of course.

After fiddling around I realized that with double manuvers I was hemmoraging end too much, along with the end off of hasten. I of course understand that dropping manuvers lowers my base defence. I think I shored it up to a semi acceptable level. If you can persuade me I'll bring it back.

Cardiac core.

Boosts end reduction, awesome for crabs, res, generally awesome and range, great for supression.

Ok, was that origionally when I put it in. But forgot I switched it to see what the defence one would give me as buff, and most definetly cardiac is the one ill use once I get that high.
