The PvP melee set also has 2.5% recovery with just two slotted. Couple of those helped a ton on my EM/SR.

Thanks, my money is on oversight on Mids. But it would be awesome if it worked.

For Zombies, is it worth slotting for the heals*?
[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't, you can't count on their personal heals IMO. On my Knights I slotted a -res proc, then acc/dam.
[ QUOTE ]
For Mercs, is there any secondary effect worth slotting?
[/ QUOTE ]
Again you can't count on spec ops secondary affects. For all the pets I slotted the -res proc, a neg damage proc. Then acc/dam
For Ninjas, is there any secondary effect worth slotting?

For Thugs, is Maneuvers worth a slot or two?
[/ QUOTE ]
I slotted at least 1 defense IO and stack it with maneuvers from the leadership pool. Other then that again a -res proc.
Don't like Bots or Ninjas much, can't help there. -

Just don't do it, it's annoying as hell to have to retoggle RttC every 3 seconds. Nearly everything in the game has even a small mag of some kind of mez.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is not my experience at all. You dont really need RTTC unless you are fighting in melee since it only works in melee. with around 2500 HP and over 45 hp a second regen I can take a beating before I even need to worry about using insp, SoW or Demonic Aura(which EVERY PvP toon should have)
I hopped into RV and happended to catch some Scrappers, a Troller and Blaster under the statue doing some lolfiteclub and took down Regen after Regen then made my way through the Controller and Blaster.
Even did a few duels with a Psi/Dev Blaster on top of the train(sup Helm) and came away with 2 wins 1 loss
I seem to notice that unless the type of AT people ask about are at the top of the list when it comes to PvP, you hear mostly 'dont do it' or 'it sucks'. PvP is [censored] easy mode these days. If you knew how to PvP well before Issue 13 and stuck around you can tear anyone who didnt a new one.
I'm not claiming to be some UberleetPvPsuperstar but I know how this game works and since everything is so damn predictable these days I have no problems using middle road PvP class ATs to get kills. I have a few that lost all hope with the defense nerf and I can only hope they get fixed sometime.

It wouldn't matter what primary he was or if he was a tank or scrapper. My opinion wasn't about how uber l33t or gimped /WP is in pvp. I just personally find it seriously annoying having to retoggle this power over and over.
If it doesn't bother the OP then more power to him. It bothers me so I don't pvp with my willpower brute anymore. -
I would have told them several things.
1) Tell them to go click on the wrong elevator.
2) IF the elevator didn't work they were bugged. It's a known issue and the only way to fix it is to delete the game and reinstall the whole thing.
3) If you still can't click the elevator, see number 2
But thats just me, all my friends know I'm an [censored].IMO a person playing an epic AT should know how to "leave" the zone lol.

So I'm putting a new /Stone Armor Brute together and I noticed something odd in Mids. You can turn whirlwind and stone armor on at the same time.
Possible or oversight on mids?
I think it would look funny as hell. Anyone with a stoner, a 2nd build they dont care for, some time, and something to record it with out there? -
Electric Armor for Tanks
Dark Miasma and Cold Domination for Controllers
Thermal for Masterminds
Spines for Brutes
Archery/Trick Arrow for Corrs. -
In PvP even with SI, anyone with +percep will see you clear as day. The joke is your stealth cap is lower than the stealth bonus SI gives

pretty much /poison and /storm are badass in pvp. My necro/storm is a beast in both zone and the arena. My Thug/poison is getting there, not quite 50 yet though.
-
Thug for primary since with team and enforcer buffs the pets will be pretty solid. As for secondary /Traps /Pain /Dark in that order.
-
Rad/Ice
Basically, don't look forward to having that power recharge in pvp -
Been working on a EM/SR brute myself and I gotta say. DONT HERD with /SR. Its seriously not made for tanking granted some do tank with the set. You can't expect to dodge everything in the game, that's just crazy. lol

the recharge times on the mercs cc are far too long to consider them a control primary. that title rests solely in the hands of necro.
but if you can handle all of the cc you need as an mm in your secondary and patron pool...
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't consider them a control primary, so recharge even though I to consider them too long is irrelevant. I mentioned their controls to point out that they are not the same as Thugs. -
Enforcer buffs affect all thug pets on the team even if they aint your pets. 8 Thug MMs is just insane, even better when the MMs themselves have leadership.
-
You can actually place the proc on all merc pets. From personal experience Mercs get much more use out of the proc than Thugs.
Granted Thug damage IS higher, that is their advantage after all.
The point of my little comparison was to prove they aint the same. You can't say "Thugs are better because they deal more damage". Mainly because Mercs were not built to be the best damage. IMO all primaries have good and bad points. None are better than another. -
I have a Thug and Merc at 50 and they are roughly the same amount of damage. Granted the Thugs are a bit more, Mercs are more controls.
That's the difference, Thugs is pure damage and Mercs have controls. Slot some -resist into mercs and you'll see a world of difference in damage. My Merc/Pain survives just as well as my Thug/FF and Thug/Poison.
Thugs and Mercs are not built with the same things in mind. When you only compare one thing, yes one will appear to come out on top. Compare them as a whole and the results will be different.
Damage: Thugs > Merc
Damage (-resist proc on mercs): Thug = Mercs
Controls: Thug < Merc
See what I mean? -

It really is the most shippable of the first 3 leadership powers.
[/ QUOTE ]
Definitely a shippable power... On a serious note, you will a lot moar bang for your buck out of assault especially and tactics to a point. If you have two or three people with tactics there is no reason to slot for accuracy in your minions.
[/ QUOTE ]
Except in the cases you know where you solo and having acc in pets would be helpful. You're stronger on a team if you're built for soloing. I'm not saying don't take leadership, yes stacked in teams leadership rocks.
Just don't expect everyone else to have tactics to make up for your pets lack of accuracy. -
MMs have the lowest bonuses. So as a general rule of thumb I only take it when I have something to stack it with. Like leadership bonuses off thugs, /FF, /Traps, etc.
