I will get as many of my old sg mates together as possible and we will decide as a group how we want to go out. We could go out fighting or have a boombox dance party under atlas.

The best we can hope for is that they decide to keep a server open for us or sell the game off to someone else.

Do you guys really think they are going to fire and disband an arm of their organization and then change their minds and rehire everyone? I cant remember anyone ever doing that. Think about the office morale, employee loyalty would be in the toilet.

NcSoft has shown that they do not care about their loyal customers and that they are more than willing to take our money and run. I do not understand why they are so willing to alienate their customer base. Thousands of us are deciding that they can no longer be trusted with our money. People who don't play COH are having second thoughts about investing money into games that WILL be unplugged on a whim.
We all know that stealing is wrong. The corporate culture of NCSoft seems to have forgotten that lesson. We will remember. The world is listening. -

Is the complete edition the whole game rather than just an expansion? That is the one I added and I already had gr. My account is now VIP in the game but my characters are still locked as if it is a free account. It looks like customer service is only open a half day a week now so I sent a /petition, don't know if that will do any good. I am glad my main is an incarnate again.

fyi i upgraded this account to gr with a code purchased online when it came out and just used a 2nd gr code from a game bought on amazon for 7 bucks. i dont know if the difference between code bought online vs. the physical game allowed me to use both. -
i just added a code as well, i have vip status on the forums but not in game. i am going to give it a few minutes and try again before i get mad.

whoever took it didnt just hit printscreen as there are more heroes in that shot than the client will show you. you can only see the closest 100? heroes to you in game. here are the two i took at the same time and you can see that not everyone is visible.

That appears to be the screenshot used for the 5th Anniversary promo material. If so it was taken on the Test Server in AP in the late afternoon (Pacific) April 23rd, 2009. Not sure if that helps any.

I would be happy just to have my account back to VIP status until the end so I could use my stuff. I would really like to be able to play after November 30th but I wouldn't feel as robbed if I could just have a way to get VIP status back.

NCsoft sold us a new system that the players invested in with reasonable expectations of access to content we paid for. Within a year of this change they pulled the plug with no warning. If you think that this is an acceptable business practice I don't know what to tell you. -
In hindsight any location besides the steps of city hall would probably been better if you didn't want this to be referred to as a protest. The rally was awesome thanks for putting it together. It was amazing seeing everyone turn out in support of our game.
