    Vbullitin board

    Ever since the upgrade to the forums the board will NOT remember me. I usually have to log in like 7 times to get to the point I can post a message. This is getting really annoying.


    I've gone through wiped out EVERY cookie an any reference I have to COH from my browser (firefox) and it still won't remember me.

    This kind of fighting to get a chance to post a message almost breaks using the forums for me.
  2. I know about the higher level copy of the sewers with doors right as you enter the existing sewers. I'm just was wishing for an expansion with reason.

    I had completely forgotten about the Abyss. Probably because I've never been in there. I haven't heard people yelling "Let's do a Hammi raid" over on the Villain side all that often
  3. I've been pondering ways to expand the game that wouldn't take "too much work" as compared to say building City of Villain or the Going Rogue expansion.

    Things I've come up with are what I think is a little off the wall, but might be fun.

    First. Expand the sewers. Don't just take the same map and repopulate it with higher level mobs. I'm talking something that would have a bit of story behind it. But the end result would be expanding the sewers into the higher level zones. Stash some secret labs down there and the like. One part that came to mind was a long draw out tunnel running between an area like Steel Canyon and Croatoa.

    Second. Have the portal technology stolen from the hero side to open up the Firebase Zulu maps to Villains. I also remember hearing about villains supposedly being able to go fight Hammidon. What ever happened to that?
  4. In the time I've been playing (5+ years) there's been tons of changes and balancing of arch-types and power combinations. The Kheldians came out first as a veteran class. Then Villain side rolled out their Epic arch-type the Soldiers of Arachnos. The big difference between them only shows up when you take into account the alternate build play ability that's been built into the game. The SoA have the respecification at 24 and the choosing of which direction to go, either Widow or Fortunata, and Soldier or Crab. With the alternate build option in the game it's possible to "go both ways" and explore up both lines.

    I would love to see something similar on the hero side. Say going up through 24 as a plain Khledian and at level 24 either have a mission from the Khledian contact that is a trap and the character gets turned into a warshade, or just the sudden respec that's present on the villain side currently. I know that the two types of Kheldians are almost opposing each other as well in powers and history.

  6. While the mission content is very good I have one more bug I've found so far. There is a mission you're to meet Dr Delilah in. It's an outside instanced mission at first. I met her OK but when we entered the elevator to start the upper part, she pulls a Houdini. She becomes all sparkly and just stand at the elevator door. She's still there because I can't move through her, but she never completes the elevator trip. I tried to lead her around the elevator to the top but she just can't make the jump up. I petitioned it in game and bugged it.

  7. Minor problem with bunny ears. If you have any hair style with the hair "up" the normal ears on the head are visible.
  8. slight bug on the Bunny Ears. If you have any hairstyle that reveals the human ears you can still see them when you have the Bunny ears selected.
  9. I haven't done any Live safeguard missions yet but this sounds like something that was happening on the villain side with a shipboard mission with PitBull and Bloody Vicious and Vanessa something. If you attacked a "mob" from a distance they would vanish. Turned out it was an accidental teleport and the mobs ended up out on one edge of the map in the water. It was still completable if you went out there and killed them but a stone pain till they got it fixed.

  11. Yep. I actually named my Brute "Suicidal Tendencies" mainly because every thing I saw about Brutes in beta tended to promote those tendencies in the archtype
