  1. I was suppa great, but, damn I didn't know Jugg's was there... I missed him

Of course, I'm sure I missed a LOT (including ghost widows appearance before the CROWD descended upon her... Star and Scarf got to meet her all quit like... may those lucky [censored] burn in [censored] [censored] with [censored] and 700 miles of raspberry jam and [censored] [censored] where weasels [censored] [censored] [censored] barbed wire and three stools [censored] [censored] weed whacker with an autopilot [censored] [censored] gasoline [censored] [censored] fish heads on pikes!) They even got some nifty titles the [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] rusted [censored] [censored] barn yard [censored] [censored] house!

For a good portion of it, I had to escape to the roof just to get a breather from the scroll hell and lag fest that was the sea of heroes on that campus

It was still damned fun (though a selfish part of me wishes less people had shown up... the lag, oh by GODS eight tentacle, the lag was murder.

And I forgot to take pictures to... I can never remember to do that.

    Trick or Treat!!

ya, no one is too old for the bestest holliday of them all!

And Star, my god, you almost killed me with the cutenes... i was not properly warned! But I so love it, I DO!

It's damned funny, (and so perfict!) and... to be honist, i can't stop looking at Aby. i love the way you draw her... so inocent looking yet looking like she's compleatly out of her mind as well... and too damned cute! Why oh why can't I make her look like that in game!
  4. Alright, this should be the last WIP post I make for this piece. Gonna go all out tonight and hopefully have it finished out.

    So, here's the last update!
  5. As stated before, ya, the bondage pieces come about for the same reason we play the game in the first place, light fantasy fulfillment and escapism. As for the bondage thing, like has been mentioned, it does go hand in hand with the genre. After all, the whole hero thing is all about fighting and violence (granted, not realistic or splatter punk type violence, but still, it sure as hell isn't about dramas of the heart )... it only stands to reason the sex side of it would be about the same.

Oh, and Squirrel, I don't think it's CoH that has a higher level of kink then what you would have thought, I think it's all of human kind that does

    Looking good there so far.

Suppa great for your first full body, definitely. One thing bothers me about it though, and that would be her left hand... or more to the point, the lack of a left hand.

The fireball she's holding up above her head looks like it's coming out of her wrist. You might want to think about adding a bit of hand there like she was holding that ball in the palm of her hand about to throw it.

The hand doesn't have to be anything complex at all, in fact, in that position, it would be real simple. Just add an egg like oval coming off her wrist at about the mid point of her wrist and going towards her head, a roundish square and squished circle like shape on the other side of the oval, just big enough to cover the distance from the middle of the wrist to the other edge of it. Toss in four little ovals hovering above the circle and egg oval, and then a cylinder with another oval on top coming from the egg shaped oval, and prest-o, you have a hand ready to hold s fireball.

here's a sketch like thing to help illustrate the ovals and their placement. Also, just look at your own hand in that position as well... just don't think of it as a hand (that would probably lock your brain up) just think ovals.

It's a good piece so far, but if you add a hand in there, you will improve it dramatically. As is, it just looks like you were a bit afraid of adding a hand there so you covered it up with a fireball
  7. ouch! Sorry to hear about that!

Seriously, hold on to the drive, at some point you should be able to find someone who can at least transfer it's contents to anouther drive. It's not all lost yet.

*briefly has a flashback to Doom Generation then stalks up to Scarf_Girl and snatches his happy-fun-time parts back*

You're only allowed to do that if we were married and last I checked, we wasn't married! Next time, just ask! Just say, "Hey, Graver, think ya could not spawn?" and I'd all be like "Hell, ya, I ain' gonna spawn me no parasites, no way no how!" and then everyone'd be all happy and I'd not have to find me a needle and thread to put my shinny happy fun time parts back on. Sheesh! *grumbles and stalks off*

Okay, and to keep you all up to date, here's the first touch of color on the piece. Still got a ways to go, but at least you can see red now

And NewEden, I'm keeping my fingers crossed on those photo sales as well Good luck with that, seriously!
  9. Damn, son, those are great! I really love how Junkyard King came out, all those little details are freakishly amazing! More indepth comments shall come latter on your DA site... i gotta stop goofing off and get back to work now, but, damn fine work!
  10. damn you people and your amazing speed!
  11. Wow, that's looking great so far. I always love seeing new digital paintings and all! And I got a feeling this is gonna be great. Love the touch of red/purple around his eyes... very nice so far!
  12. Well, I have the approved pencils here and I'm currently bussy bussy bussy slathering the watercolor on it.

I know the pencils are a bit confusing, but not to worry, all will be made clear with the paint. I perhaps spent a touch too much time on that ax, but I think I've fallen in love with it.

Also, I have to apologize for the dark line cutting the image in half. I finally got my hands on some good 300lbs hot pressed watercolor paper. It's thickness mixed with the fact that I ended up making the painting a touch larger then normal meant that I should have gotten three scans of it and tiled those together instead of two. Since this is just a WIP though, I didn't want to take the time to tile 3 scans together... that and since this piece has two sides of deckled edges and two sides torn, it was a bit harder to line up each scan... no hard consistent edge to act as a guide. I'll definitely have to rig something up to get a good final scan.

I just don't want to lose those deckled edges... I love deckled edges.

    I also like saying deckled.

I don't like typing it as much as I like saying it though.

"We are a hedge. Please move along" XD

And don't forget kiddies, ninjas aren't dangerous. They're more afraid of you than you are of them.
  14. oooo, looking right good so far!

And I hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna get a touch nit-picky. I did notice a very minor little problem with his shoulder to the left. The bone and muscle's are a touch off. First, the collarbone should be angled more up. It should be curving to point towards the point where the trapezius meets the deltoid. As is, it looks like his deltoid is swallowing his color bone when, in reality, part of the muscle attaches to it

My Second real anal knit-pick is the small itty bitty bit of shading you have where the deltoid meets the pectoral (still to the left). Maybe lessen the shadow a hair as it interrupts the curve of the pec and deflates it a bit instead of helping to show it all bulging. Just fallow the invisible curve you have set up that goes from his collarbone to the point where the pec meets the deltoid and eliminate any shadow from the deltoid on the pec. side of that invisible curve.

Hopefully that's not as utterly confusing as it sounds... and if it is, never mind... it's a very minor thing on an otherwise supper great drawing... supper supper great!

*shakes head* Damned kids these days don't even know how to properly appreciate getting something so cool as a sweet piece of art like that. They got their priorities all mixed up

Great work though, Star! definitely one of your best so far... i can't wait to see what else you turn out with painter, you just keep getting better!

Thanks for sharing with the rest of us
  16. I knew i wasn't the crazy one! It was all those girls who screamed and ran and called for the cops! They were the crazy ones! I am sooo relived! I finally have the courage to go out on a date again! *starts gassing up the chainsaw*

And as for the concept being great on this piece, I can't take responsibility for that one as i didn't come up with it. I'm just the one to make it visual

And ion that note, i have an approved design for the ax here

More to come... as it comes.

Oh, and Mist, the painting will be another watercolor. That however is the first preliminary sketch done all digital though I've gotten used to the tablet enough to where it's about as fast to sketch out my plans on the computer as it is in my sketchbook... and on the computer, it's way easier to move elements around. Makes for getting the idea down and tweaked a lot easier and faster
  17. This is a piece I've been looking forwards to doing for a little while. When the concept was described to me, I was instantly hooked... not only was it going to be a bit of a challenge to convey the degree of emotion that was to be in the piece, but also, I had yet been asked to do one quite like this... new ground ftw!

I'll be reworking the ax a bit as I have just be asked to customize it a bit more (my god what did I start with my last painting) but it's gonna be damned fun coming up with a look for a demons ax.

Either way, here is the first stage of this piece...

    Heaven and Hell: rough
  18. damned fine piece from Brandon! And I dig the loving detail he put into the carnies outfit
  19. My GOD, man, do you not understand the forces you are TOYING WITH!? Did you never stop to ask why there were so many unclothed Rowrs while only a very few mad artists had ever chosen to assault the rational sensibilities of the world with the unwholesome blasphemies of a clothed Rowr?! "It's just a sex type thing..." was all you thought, wasn't it? Well, sex is the farthest thing from anyone's minds on these boards (please disregard any and all comments made in this thread or any comment in any other thread as well... they're code, CODE!).

Such maddening images are avoided because of the Prophecies! For a clothed Rowr shall tread through time to the night where the stars are aligned to wake that which is dead and dreaming, heralding in the times of old anew and rip asunder the veil of sanity revealing to all the World of Horror!

You best be careful, young artist. While it might just seem to be innocent fun, and a bit thrilling, to make such an incredible, but racy, image of Rowr fully clothed, it can only lead to MADNESS!

Oh, the doom to which you are condemning us all to aside, great drawing so far! Love the face and hands. One bit I noticed that was a touch off is the length of her extended leg. It's a bit short. It looks like you tried to cram that knee in before the end of the page but, in truth, that knee should be just a hair beneath the pages end

Good stuff so far... but it will DOOOM US ALLLLLLLL!

  20. Great work there DJ! And I love the shape you gave the wings and their position, framing the top and then leading the eye down the legs like an arrow pointing to the city below. That and the tilt you gave the camera is a very nice touch. Without that tilt, the image would have fallen dead.

    Great stuff!
  21. Wow! Damn Gill, congrats on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Man, I am totaly loving your new slew of works!

Just had to say... now i gotta get my skinny [censored] back to work

    Atillita

    Thanks all!

I got some suggestions on a few things I could tweak and, while watercolor is fairly unforgiving, I was able to make a couple of small minor modifications to the piece. It's not much (at this stage, there's not much I can really change or tweak) but every little thing counts in the end. So, a slightly updated version is now up... same link location, but for ease of use, here it is again

    Again, thanks all!

    Rowr: Finnished!

Well, it's been a long time in the making... there were a lot of obstacles and a lot of difficulties, but, at long last, I have finally finished Rowr's piece. So, for your viewing pleasure, I present to you...

    Rowr in the City

And Rowr, thank you so much for your patents and I truly hope this was worth the wait in line
  25. soooooooon.... alllll shall be revield sooooooooooon

    Stay tuned!
