    Well, as it had no closed beta period first, the open part seems longer than usual.
    There'll be a couple more updates to the TF before it hits live though.

    Something like this happens when you rescue Lady Grey in the 3rd RWZ arc - if you're out of her line of sight, the pet she summons will attack you instead of the renegade Vanguard.

    So far, the voice work in the trailers seems ok, so if that was the level it was at in game, I think it'd be fine.

    Talking of player freedom, I saw a loading screen tip the other day that actually said that the Invention System was optional, and the game hadn't been made harder to force you to use it, which I think is good, as new players looking at prices at WW could be put off a bit, and think they had to save Inf for the recipes.

    Lore isn't just storylines - it can include anything to explain game mechanincs in an in-game way, like the War Walls or Architect Entertainment, and it can also include trivia that isn't neede for storyline or for in-game explainations, but is there just for fun to add more depth - like Ms. Liberty's real name, or why there are no busses in the city, but plenty of bus stops.

    But as this thread is just supposed to be for lore questions, perhaps we could go here to actually discuss the lore rather than just ask questions.

    Ha sorry^^; I use Poser for the basic, just the pose, for the pattern clothes, like Glaciers, I simply make 2 3d renders in 3ds max : 1 with normal skin, 1 with a kinda plastic texture. Then I use the 2 renders and cut them using Photoshop and Illustrator. Basically, I just modelized googles and the armor parts (gloves and shoulder).

    But for form fitting clothes without complicated paterns (like Frozn Howl), I just use the mesh of the body and cut the faces until I'm satisfied with it^^

    As a zones security rating improves, so workmen move in and start repairing. PPD start patrolling etc. If a zone stays in its current level for a period of time, the area starts to look better. rubble is cleared from an area and building starts (scaffolding goes up ) eventually a building is erected and has a chance to become a shop or some other utility.

    Go check out Recluse's Victory

    the current game engine can handle morphing scenery and lighting changes,a s well as chaning mobs - so tweaking the engine would just make this even easier to add to the game.

    I'd also like them to add GMs or some sort of event to each zone, and failing to tackle it would result in that zone losing services for a while - like if the Paladin in Kings Row wasn't dealt with, the WW there would shut down until he was defeated.
    As well as that, the scenery would morph to reflect the GM rampage.

    Well, there's still more to do there than in Boomtown, so I think there'd be enough players willing to defeat the Paladin and restore order
