What they did say was that there were no plans for an Issue between I16 and GR, but that if the the graphics updates were finished before the rest of GR, then they might release them as a sort of mini-Issue before the rest of GR goes live - at least, that's what the reports from Hero Con were saying
-
I think the whole superhero setting gets people into the right mindset
-
They did mention the possibility that the new graphics might be ready before GR is, so we could get those as well as a few other little things as a sort of mini-Issue
-
More info coming "Soon", I think

Quote:Evil knights and dragonsI haven't really played much on redside since its heyday in 2006, but at the time I thought a good addition would be a fantasy type zone with adorable fairies and pure knights. Mainly because as a villain what would you rather squish?

Although, in the interests of fairness, I'd support new base items to make your SG look like an evil castle, so even if the medieval zone was aimed towards doing good deeds, you could make a sort of alternative in your own SG base
Ouroboros and the whole time travel theme in comics in general gives CoH so many directions it can go in when it comes to new zones.Quote:I also think art support for the following standard time-travel-y missions would be great: wild west (cowboys, indians, Civil War costumes), dinosaur / primitive, pre-modern European fashions (1900s, 1800s, 1700s, 1300s, 900s), pilgrim suits (would go well with Croatoa scenery, I think), pirates, modern cities other than Paragon / RI, and probably a few more things. -
It's possible that that's just the generic text for those types of crates, and they forgot to remove it

I usually give like 3-4 stars - but a few get 5s

I think there should be more filters in the search - like one that lets you view only 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 star arcs for example - so you could filter, say, "Heroic" morality, then filter what star level you wanted, then sort them after publishing date, as well as the number of times they'd been played. -
Quote:Think of it as a training simulation - so that when the time comes when you really can teach Phipps a lesson, you'll know exactly how to do itYeah, but what would that say of me if I spent all my time in a virtual world, pretending to get justice and fight crime instead of actually doing it?

I think medieval would force them to give us long dresses - they just about got away with avoiding them for Cimerora - but a medieval one would totally requie them

And we'd also need some of those wacky but quite stylish tall pointy hats with the bits of silk hanging from the tip - which could also be a good test to see how the servers would handle a lot of players with moving stuff on their heads

Quote:They'd just train it to use in battle against the 5th Column riding T RexesI'd be happy just to draw upon the movies and comics of the 1950s and 1960s. Giant insects or spiders or crabs/lobsters, mutant animals, etc. Although a pterodactyl GM hanging around the volcano crater in Striga would be flat-out awesome

Probably bother the Council though...

Quote:I'd prefer medieval - it'd be cool to see a fantasy style zone, but without elves or dwarfsi wouldn't go medevial, that would likely get a negative reaction from the players who dont like fantasy stuff. but the romans did have dragons in their mythos, or maybe a Japanese zone with a angered river dragon...cant say that i'd have an issue with one of those
that or lost world one of the rogue islands as a red-zone, and heave heroes do some infiltrations mishes, like a reverse shadow shard.

Aren't their levels both Grand Wizard?

I like PvP, so I'll do it no matter what form it has

I think we'll get some new tilesets for sure - if we got them for the RWZ revamp, then there should be some in an actual paid expansion too.
I think there'll be some new mission types - or maybe variations on what we have right now - it's kinda hard to see what totally new types they could come up with - the current ones cover the usual superhero scenarios pretty well
