Well, I can't reproduce the bug for you
-
But the Resistacne are still the right side - Heroes and Villains all share the goal of the Resistance - take down Tyrant and his evil dictatroship.
Opposing Tyrant is the common goal of everyone in the game right now. -
Talking of drop bugs, some people have been geting 2 NotWs on one KTF this week - so that's a potential 176 Shards saved in less than an hour of playtime
-
But the entire Praetorian storyline is focused on shifting everyone to Primal Earth, either as Hero helping the Resistance, or as a Villain helping the Resistance - Longbow, Vanguard, the Freedom Phalanx and Arachnos are all siding with the Resistance, and supporting them in their fight against Tyrant - and once Praetorian players escape to Primal Earth, they're either going to be working with Longbow and the Freedom Phalanx, or working for Arachnos, with Vanguard helping them regardless of which side they picked when coming to Primal Earth.

Well, when the Incarnate system was first announced last year, Positron did say that the special Incarnate content would be zone events/raids, and that doing them would be the way players would unlock the Incarnate powers and abilities.
-
I don't mean all the obvious stuff on Primal Earth - during the Praetorian content, Dark Watcher says how it's important to get Primal Earth help for the Resistance, or Tyrant will crush everyone.

I'm not a number cruncher, but maybe the 100 million figure is the average amount of Inf someone would earn while farming 88 Shards solo?
Earning just over 1 million Inf for the period between each Shard drop sounds quite plausible, I think. -
One thing a ship could point to might be a new zone that's outside the city - an island or a large floating structure is a self-contained environment that works very well with the way CoH zones are set up.

My plans for the weekend Coh-wise have been ruined by the devs forcing me to take part in the BAF Trial sneak peek - I was going to run a few more WSTs, but it looks like I'll be spending the gaming part of the weekend locked in the BAF hospital.

Quote:That's not a lie told to the player.Wardog: "Don't worry captured cop guy, I'll totally spare your family if you tell me what I want to know."
Contacts or NPCs who lie to the player don't get away with their deception, in Praetoria or on Primal Earth - even Tyrant gets the chance to try and justify his lies to stormtroopers who turn against him.
Having a contact tells lies to the player without the player ever finding out they were lying would be like reading a detective story where the case wasn't solved at the end.
The only example of a lie that's still unresolved in the game is the Mender Silos/Mysterious Letter Writer stuff - one of them is lying to us, but as the Coming Storm is an ongoing storyline, we haven't found out which one it is yet - but thre's no way that we won't ever find out the truth as the storyline progresses.
Seems kinda weird then that the devs have made them the right side to be on thenQuote:Both sides are flat out evil. There's no way to win in Praetoria.

Quote:Because the half-a-year player can also get it in a few days? No, even the 40 isn't very reasonable. That's 160 to get the top-tier, when a solo player may get one a day, not counting the other salvage required. why should someone put in Half a year's play time into getting something someone else can get in a few days?
I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but I heard a rumor that all high level TFs give you a component at the end, so you save on having to make them from Shards. -
Quote:I'm pretty sure it's only half doneOk that's just lazy texturing. Not even a hole in the gun barrel...good luck firing that thing lol

If you were in the GR beta, you mgiht remember what Imperial City and Neutropolis looked like before they were opened up for players to test
I was meaning more from the point of view that if the area between the battleship, the hosptial and Statesman's ship was turned into a sort of Longbow/military area, then having brawling Tsoo and Family inside the compound might be a bit sillyQuote:Why get rid of the mobs?
If it's level 50 content (no idea if it is or not), then the mobs don't matter.

Quote:How many examples are there of the Resistance lying, compared to the entire set up of the dictatorship being one big lie?We have no idea what his family were doing, for all we know they could of disappeared after suicide bombing a school.
The resistance just like the loyalists are not reliable narrators.
And why would the loyalists learn that their side was one gigantic con trick, but the Resistance players wouldn't learn about the "lies" their side was telling?
The way stories in this game work, if someone has a secret, or isn't telling the truth, players learn about it - if Wardog was lying, players would find out about it - plus, what happened to Wardog and his family isn't exactly an unsual thing that happens to anyone who tries to oppose Tyrant and his dictatorship. -
-
Well, tell us what it then
-
There are some things it's just better to not ask about
-
I tried that, but there's no emote that really works for that

I could stand on the gun, and sit on it sideways with any normal sit emote - but there's no way to actually sit astride it. -

Quote:A 45-60 minute average KTF this week would save you 88 Shards and 100 million Inf, plus give you bonus merits - and if you spent 60-90 minutes on one average WST once a week, you'd get the 4th Tier Alpha in less than a month, and all for only 5-6 hours total playing time for the whole period.Leandro figured an "optimal" (killing a boss a minute on a constant rate) time of 400 hours to get the requisite shards. That's half as long as I've played my main all told in three years, and those 800 hours include a lot of RP time (and a fair bit of crafting; she has the Field Crafter accolade).
