Quote:That's what's implied in Prometheus' briefing at Ouroboros, as well as Ramiel's voice-over in the I20 trailer.I doubt we fight the Well at all. I think we'll probably end up becoming the new champions of the well after successful completion of trials and do the coming storm thing.
A story you dont like doesn't always have to be a bad story - the Incarnate story happens to be awesome, but it's just not to your taste right nowQuote:This story could end with purple carp melee monkeys and I don't think it could get any worse. Hard to even care where it is going.

Maybe the decline was in an upwards direction?

You're not really trying to say the reaction to the Trials is the same as the reaction to ED, are you?

Quote:I think it's more to do with the RWZ hosting 3 high level TFs, one open zone raid, and the only co-op AE building in the game - the zone caps at 50, so it doesn't take too much activity to start forcing extra instances, which can make forming teams a bit harder. We've got that. It's called the RWZ.
But apparently people launching trials don't like it because it's full of people launching trials.
And that annoys them so much that they go to the Pocket D to launch trials because there's no one there launching trials, and are then surprised that people are annoyed at them for launching trials there.
Pocket D is quiet, and is great for forming Leagues, as the chat there is all focused on them, rather than getting mixed into the TF, AE and mothership recruiting messages. -
I think the server stability problems will be fixed long before I21 comes out.

Quote:It's almost as if they thought a lot of players have multiple 50s, and wanted to make it possible to make more than one a high level Incarnate. So they *planned* for people to grind the trials so hard that they got their rares in three days?
I was about to say they couldn't have thought that wouldn't happen... except that is probably exactly what happened. They didn't put a hard limit on the gathering of threads, thread components, Astral and Empyrian Merits, so people just kept going to get them.
Expect to see a large nerf at some point. -
That's got nothing to do with the devs at all

Quote:Yeah - there are few people saying the same stuff in several threadsHonestly, in my estimation at least as many people were upset about inventions and the Hamidon enhancement nerf. Vastly more people were upset about the GDN and ED. In all four cases, complaints about those issues began to decay exponentially after about a month after the changes went live. So to the extent that there is player discontent, I don't believe it is higher than the game has experienced many times in the past.

Quote:I think you'll need to give us a detailed rundown of exactly what the developer time is being spent on, otherwise we might not believe youImplementing something that would identify everyone who already completed one this morning, while ideal, would require development time. Something we're extremely tight on at the moment.

Quote:Going by what we know, I'm not sure that she was very willing at all.If your hot wife is willing to leave you for someone else, you just might be better off without her.
Plus, Mother Mayhem isn't exactly shown as someone who'd refuse to steal other bodies.
Well, I've not actually meassured - but I'm all natural - that's how I can spot silicone a mile offQuote:I'm pretty sure those posers you posted a while back had your character with breasts larger than Mother Mayhems, but hey

An evil robot faction would be fun - trashing giant war machines never gets old

Quote:"When"? Why not "if"? Don't you have any confidence in us?should no longer lose their Alpha Slot boosts when they die during an Incarnate Trial.

But seriously, this is a nice fix - it was slightly confuing too because the enemies still showed as if you had the level shift working. -
The Praetorian war is actually just a "repeat" of the first Rikti war, only we're able to experience it this time - the first Rikti war happened before the live game history started, but a huge amount of the lore was tied to it, and it shaped the city and a lot of the villain groups, NPCs and storylines in one way or another.
And now the Paretorian war is having the same widespread effect on the game world - only this time we're able to experience it in "real time" - rather than being a background event like the first Rikti war, it's actually something that we'll be a part of as it unfolds. -
Quote:You could always call her Sister Silicone instead.Hmm well, there's only one way to find out for sure. I'm going to have to ask her for a close up examination. I am however fearful that due to her penchant for referring to herself as "mother", I might end up with some rather severe psychological scarring from the whole experience.
