The Trials are meant to be played in the correct order of the story - BAF, Lambda, Keyes, UG, TPN, MoM.

As far as I know, it's just there - there's no lore attached to it.
There's also going to be an echo of Dark Astoria there once I22 goes live. -

Corsets were worn in this time period - maybe we'll get one to go with the hat?
-
Sister Psyche was acting in self-defense.
-
I like all the Trial AV fights - each one offers something unique that suits the person we're fighting - like Marauder has mechanics linked to physical ability, but Anti-matter has mechanics suitable for a mad scientist, and so on.

He also left the revelation vague enough so that he could backtrack in RotJ if he decided that the sister/brother romance problem was too weird.
Another interesting example of the way he makes his movies is that even when filming had started on A New Hope, Obi-Wan wasn't meant to die - his death was only written in later because Lucas wanted to add more drama to the rescue, and to avoid having Obi-Wan end up with nothing to do during the final fight in the same way that Leia's role is less important after the rescue - but the death was shot in a way that could also allow for a backtrack in any sequels - so I guess we could have ened up with Force teleporting instead of Force ghosts

Quote:It also solved the Malaise/Malaise naming problem - which might make both the Infernals afraid of any new content with them in itI'll argue that killing Malaise was inevitable, not to mention deserved. There was no way of removing him from her mind, and if left unchecked, could cause untold damage.

A Carnie pack with no corset just seems wrong

The next big step for Trials will be making the TUT cross-server.

Quote:Recluse and his thugs aren't the only villains in the game, just like the Freedom Phalanx aren't the only heroes in the gamevillians win? I don't see how Recluse and his buddys were involoved in this one.

Since part 1, the actions of both Malaise and Wade have been deeply naughty, which makes them both villains. -
By the way, the devs have said that the removal of Statesman won't happen right away once part 5 is live.

The situation is similar to the second Rikti invasion, where Nemesis didn't step in until he thought that we were going to ruin his plans - in the current Praetorian war, Recluse has no need to step in, because everyone is already working towards his goal of destroying Tyrant.

Quote:I'll let you answer that:So why hasn't Recluse taken ANY overt action? If he's just offering his verbal support to the cause it doesn't really mean much.

Quote:Villainsn need some things to go their way sometimesFreedom had the first real blow dealt to Recluse (Fort Darwin being lost) in forever...only to have the FIRST THING new villains do is take it back and re-establish the bottom line.

Recluse wants Tyrant destroyed - he says so on the Tin Mage TF.Quote:I mean, if you think about it? Praetoria is mostly a Hero-thing. Recluse doesn't give two craps about Praetoria or a possible hostile takeover it seems, and it has to be Paragon that steps up to the plate to deal with it.
Isn't that one of the classic ways for a villain to operate?Quote:Blueside seems to be investing all the work, and Redside getting to benefit from it. -
