I've hit this bug too, in an Ouroboros Arc. Its known, at least in the Ouro missions.
-
Add me to the list of people who want to be able to use the Global friends list for the email! On average, I might have 2 or 3 people listed in my character friends list. Global friends NEEDS to be an option.
And wow, I'm loving what I'm seeing for I16 so far. -

I was just scrolling through my accounts, looking for a free character slot so I could roll a new alt, when I noticed how many of the same Archetypes I had.
I would have assumed that I had more Masterminds or Tanks, as they are the ATs that I'm so accustomed to playing. I was totally shocked to see that the AT I originally cared the least about was the one I had the most alts of...
The Warshade! (I was never that much of a fan of the WS because I'm not happy with having teleport as a travel power.)
Anyhow, I counted 10 Warshades, 8 Masterminds, 6 Tanks, 5 PB's, 5 Corruptors, and at least one of the rest.
So, what about you?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmm... I know the largest number of characters I've got are Tanks (more than 6), followed closely by Scrappers. I've a few of most everything, though I've so far only made one Peacebringer, and no Warshades... Villainside I've two Stalkers, a Brute and a couple of Corruptors; haven't played near as much there. -
I've always wondered- was it the Rikti War that trashed so much of the Rogue Isles, or what did the damage? There are very modern-seeming roadways and bridges that look like they've been bombed, especially in St. Martial.
-
A lot of the links are broken- I'd guess about a quarter of them, mostly the older emotes.

It seems that Steven Sheridan's arc "The Organ Grinders" in the 35 - 39 range is still busted on test just as it is on live through Ouroboros. Or it is for me, anyway. Can anyone else confirm this? I accept the arc, complete the first mission, return to Sheridan, and he treats me as though I have too many missions in my inventory. Obviously, that isn't even possible since it's a Flashback TF. I petitioned this awhile back and was told that the dev team had been informed about it, but it seems there's been no progress.
[/ QUOTE ]
Confirmed. I've tried twice to do the arc and both times it hit a certain point and would go no further. I've bugged it as well. -

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but base editing has serious problems now. I've already had problems with items disappearing into floors and walls, not being able to place items on walls or not being able to adjust their height. Magic desks don't work right now. It's almost impossible to stack them because they want to occupy the same space as the desk below them. I tried to put some chairs against a wall this morning and found that, no matter how I tried to do it, they wouldn't go the last notch to the wall. So I have some chairs against the wall and others that won't go there.
You know, all i really wanted was some nice decorative items. A hot tub maybe? A lot of people love to hang out and chat in the hot tubs in faultline. The reduced prices are great! I'm delighted to be able to make a nice sized base now even for my little SG. But it doesn't help if we don't have stuff to put in them or if we can't get items to place properly.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm having similar issues- I've 'lost' a couch inside a wall already (you can still delete it by using the 'this room' list of items), and its hard to set things right where I want them. We need (DESPERATELY) a snap-to-grid option, and the walls HAVE to be 'solid' when in the editor (Excepting the trim-pieces)... -
I'm not in the Beta, just to state that right off. I've read this entire thread and I think that there are problems that need to be addressed, notably they need to increase salvage drops to compensate for the likely increased value and decreased availability of salvage not that it will be in demand for both bases and IO crafting.
However... I don't think its going to be as bad as some seem to think. It almost seems as if people think that the number of base-builders is extremely high, when the opposite is true. Not everyone builds a base. So I doubt that the impact on the market is going to be quite as severe as people are imagining.
As to base-building in general, so far I've become less worried. The fact that pathing-limits have been yanked as well as the cost reductions that have been instituted means that I'll be able to do a lot more with my base then I could have imagined before- yes, some of the larger, massively-elaborate bases might be a touch screwed by not being able to recover the prestige tied into the plotsize and such, but with the pathing-changes the situation for them HAS improved, and they might want to look at major changes anyway- they can do MORE! But I do sympathize with the folks who'll feel hammered by this.
The Merit System, however, IS going to skew the prices of IO sets upwards. This is a concern that they really need to watch.
As to the PVP system, I don't have an opinion at all. I generally despise it for the (majority of, not all by any means) people I encounter in the PVP zones- its all well and good to be combative, but nailing someone repeatedly (like someone in the zone for badging) doesn't prove anything other than you have too much time on your hands. And these comments I've made apply to MOST PVP systems that I've seen. PVP seems to attract bad behavior, unfortunately.
As for the Day Jobs... A lot of people are wigging out over not being able to get all the badges rapidly. As in, to get them all takes years of play. Well, it takes years of play to get all the quarterly time-played badges, right? No complaints there? They're (and this from a badge-[censored]) JUST BADGES. Don't worry, you'll get them eventually, unless you bail on the game completely.
And thats my thoughts for now. Hopefully I'm not ticking anyone off. -

Man where should i start??? What are the devs doing? Stalkers get yet another powerset in i13??? OMG and villians get Pain Domiantion??? Aren't they already dominating with widows in pvp??? When are the Heroes gonna get something thats really good? First thing that I think needs to happen in i13 is improving the PB and Ws,you know to make things fair and balanced remember that??? How about pistols for blasters? How about another good damage set for scrappers,Fire melee is great, and 1 more nice set wouldn't hurt.Tanks could use a new good set as well, since brutes have fury, and more powersets than tanks.Man you guys keep giving the villians stuff every issue and keep the heroes behind on the goods.I hope you guys got some more nice stuff to announce, cause right now it looks like a disappointing issue.
[/ QUOTE ]
... Yer kidding, Right? All these years people have been moaning about Vside getting hosed, and now you're complaining when it actually gets the goods?
[Stares. In amazement and disbelief.]

I have to admit that Shields for stalkers does seem a bit misplaced. What do you need with a shield if your main defense is stealth?
[/ QUOTE ]
What do you do with a shield? Throw it at your enemy and knock him down! -

I want to go back in time and fight the final battle against the Storm Korps. I also want to see boomtown turned into a massive 5th column base led by the Reichsman.
[/ QUOTE ]
NOOOO! CLOCKWORK KINGDOM!
Not that Reichsman can't reappear tho. That'd be neat. -
Hmm... I'd like to see more of the Coralax backstory and more on the now-gone heroes of bygone years, like the character mentioned in the 'Bird Watcher' badge.

The only problem with using the /ignore_spammer command I see is the continuous use of nonsensical names used by most spammers, that makes it often impossible to correctly ignore. For the email that has been flooding our accounts specifically could the Dev's please add an in-game email address (per server) that we can forward the emails to (IE Email Petitions; Pinnacle Spammers; Virtue Petitions, etc). The player base can then easily forward the email along to the support team for their review/actions. Or add a button to the current in-game email structure to forward the email as a petition.
[/ QUOTE ]
Click backspace for the auto-reply, then arrow back over to replace /t with /ignore_spammer. Remember to remove the comma and space at the end too! That works well. -

Now make Hollows radio missions available so I can get the temp travel powers there instead of having to go to King's Row and I'm sold.
[/ QUOTE ]
What he said.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's not what we *really* want because then, just like the KR Safeguard, we wouldn't be able to Flashback to Meg's mission to pick it up again. We want a temp travel power to be in an *arc mission* so that we can replenish it just like villains can replenish theirs. (Another reason why the Devs hate Heroes!)
Wincott's last mission should give a temp travel power, "Thanks for all you've done for me! If you're going to be helping out Flux or venture deeper into the Hollows, you may want some help to get over the Gulch. I've managed to requisition a Jet Pack for you from the PPD."
[/ QUOTE ]
Migod. That would be BRILLIANT! -
[ QUOTE ]
Those all sound like really great changes to the Hollows. Now how about setting War Witch loose on the Shadow Shard? The huge villain population in the Shard is entirely too static, too rooted in place. The Shard has such enormous unrealized potential.
How about:
- a few wandering space "dragons"
- a few wandering rikti spacecraft
- a 50-hero Hamidon-raid-level arch-villain
- hollow out some asteroids for us to explore
- more complicated "one-off" missions
- an accolade power earned by completing the four Shard TFs
- access to the Shard for CoV (co-op mode like the RWZ?)
- actually place the Ski Chalet and Pocket D somewhere in the Shard
- black holes, small meteors, vision-obscuring nebulae
- a wisp city
- random rare rularuu raid on FBZ
[/ QUOTE ]
Yow! Hell yah! DoitDoitDoit! And I wanna see the Clockwork King TAKE OVER BOOMTOWN! Rar!
Please? Welcome to the Clockwork Kingdom! -
Woot! This is gonna rock... One question- How the heck did Coralax get into the Red River, and why? I hope we get background-missions.
-
I'd be happy if they'd just alphabetize the displayed badges in general.
-
Say... Just a thought here, and not meant to be a negative comment... But can we get back to discussing I11 Closed Beta as opposed to discussing what people are grumping about CONCERNING I11 Closed Beta? Nothing constructive is happening here, and nothing is being gained. However, we ARE losing validity.
Just my two pfennigs.
And this is directed at both sides. not ANY individual. -
So he hit 50 and rebuilt with a different powerset. He DID carry a shield as a primary for YEARS.
So he's a valid example of a shield-wielder. -
Honestly... I do love what I've seen of I10 so far... Except for the lag. I was up to 10-15 SECONDS at one point to make a single shot! That, to me, is unacceptable. No, I won't leave the game, not a chance... But I will likely avoid all of the Event stuff. And 30 people blasting at a Drop Ship over 10 minutes and doing NOTHING to it is also a bit much. In that time I've (with a team) scragged two Paladins in a row...
A possible suggestion is to cap how many people can enter a zone to a number that the system can handle. I know that'll tick people off, but hey, its something. Then set things so two zones get hit on either side (hero/villain) at the same time and divide the swarm again. -
First post for me here.
What I'd like to see in general would be the 'tails' finally being fully realized. Especially the one I want/need for Goblinn herself, a thick-based, smooth vaguely reptillian long tail.
But a selection of canine (wolf/fox), feline (generic cat, lion, thick furred), equine (horse or donkey/zebra) would be tremendously nice. Also, more of the nonhuman digitigrade legs- the ones out of City of Villains are monstrous indeed, but not all heroes and villains are nasty-looking even if nonhuman! Oh, and more pants/patterns for the legs; it'd be nice to have a nonhuman-legged character who could wear a pair of shorts! Oh, and I'm sure that my femme characters would think that Jay is Sexy.
