  1. Thanks for the honest answer about the organic armor with skin. I really do hope that we get it and the bioluminant pattern on tights (and normal skin).

    In the future (after we get the above! hehe) I'd love to see this tech/art applied to Circuitry patterns, Isles, Tribal, Supernatural Face (with glowing eyes), etc.

    And to reiterate - I think the wolf tail should be free. I can see why it wouldn't so people will buy the pack but.. it should be a basic staple of the costume editor. Yes, people asked for it in the pack but I think most of those were wanting an entire Beast Pack.

    Looking at the /em growl emote from the Mutant booster, they've been experimenting with characters going on all fours. I wouldn't be surprised if Animal Run wasn't on the way. IIRC, a while back didn't they post a job listing looking for people with experience animating non-human characters.

  5. This is pretty darn awesome! Now, I say this as someone who is buying the Mutant Pack already and want it out NAO but I would rather this tail be a free costume piece (with a non animated version too).

    Mainly it's just too random to throw in there I think and it makes sense to give a freebie since it's such a high demand item. A gesture of good will. If you will. :P Anything further that you make for a bunch of animal parts could definitely be in it's own Pack. Which I'll buy that TOO of course!

    Not ungrateful at all, I'm happy about this - just think it should be delivered a bit differently!

    Ditto. I'll be getting it because it'll support the game I love and there are enough things I can use out of it. I'm not forgetting about animal packs tho.. give 'em!

  9. The lack of the following could be by design or a bug:

    The bioluminate set is on Monstrous which is great and spiked and finned glove sets but it's not on finned boots. Makes it mismatched for those who wanted to have finned gloves and boots with this option.

    In general I think bioluminate would be great on all the types (finned, large, banded, etc.) not just for the hands but for the feet. After all bio-organic does.

    Of course the same goes with organic armor.

    Not a fan of Showoff. It seems too fast.

    I love, love, LOVE Dimension Shift. It is just perfect for one of my favorite toons.

    Boil is nasty. So that's good.

    Energy Morph.. not sure about it yet. It's neat but not sure if I'll put it to much use.

    Growl is cute. I'd love a mini travel power like Ninja Run where you can run on all fours tho. Just sayin!

    Please let the textures work with monstrous hands and feet/legs.
    Please have a organic armor with skin for females.

    If these do end up being all of the costume bits that we git for this pack, let's get 'em done right!

    The costume emotes ROCK I will say. Dimension **** is all that and a bag of.. you get the idea. What would it take to get these as normal emotes? These and the other CC only ones?

    Oh and as an aside - please add monstrous fur back to female legs/feet/etc. for tights, skirts, etc.

    I really hope monster heads, tails, etc. are incoming. If this is all we're getting costume wise in this pack I may be skipping it too and it'd be the first one I've ever skipped. I was really looking forward to animalistic parts - not monster parts.

    I'm just now reading all the posts so maybe something will be explained further but I'm not happy with the lack of animal parts that most of us hoped for. I mean I do like the look of the limited items we've gotten but it's not anything what I had in mind.

    EDIT - the CC emotes, while I want them as normal emotes - they will cause me to buy this pack. The Dimension Shift is PERFECT for my Reincarnate character costume changes. Just wish I could use it normally instead of just when changing costumes!
  14. I was looking through the lists and from the names alone I couldn't find any temp powers that duplicated a Sonic attack like Scream or Shout, etc. This is for a concept toon - I wanted a Sonic attack power but not necessarily by taking the entire Sonic primary pools.

    Anyone know if there is one? Especially one that can be recharged through the Oro missions?

    Me too. I don't think I can do an alt build for a Bane w/ that stupid pack on. I mean I love the pack for the Crab build but I want a cape for my Bane build. Meh! I know it's off the known issue list but I'll keep reporting it in game anyway. Rawr?

    I plan to play CO and I'll like it. I'll always like and continue to pay for CoX too. I am thrilled that there is competition out there. It breeds a need for all involved companies to keep pushing their envelopes and get high ticket items out the door for their players. Keep it coming!

    Ditto. I'd be happy if we're not wrong either. So long as more Issues come out between 16 and GR. I can wait for the box set but not at the expense of the game updates. Which, there's nothing indicating that *would* happen - it's just something I'd rather not see happen in any case.

  21. I personally love the Dinosaur and Clockwork ones on Blue side. I have a lot of Steampunk characters so that's probably why I gravitate toward the Clockwork one. The Dinosaur, that just sounds fun and if you don't do it then I just might! I have a few animal hybrid types - mostly shark/dragon/etc. so a Dinosaur isn't too off on my tendencies. I love it!

    Red side.. the Terrorist or Alien Tyrant.

    I've seen enough demon types. I have a few myself. :P

  22. Oh Feeding Frenzy is a Brute and is SS/WP. It's the Scientist I'm still up in the air about.

    For some reason the Crab Spider arms seems.. wicked cool with an evil scientist. I'm thinking of Doctor Octopus too much I'm sure. A few others I'm thinking about though. If I give him the snake mutation (he's going to have some primary animal based genetic thing going on too but more controlled) then /Poison MM would be quite nice. I dunno! :P

    I had a question about RttC. Is it worth it to slot the to hit debuff? Wouldn't that be helpful to the - giving you a chance to regen - concept?

    Or is it too little to be worth it?

    I agree. It's pretty obvious and that's ok. It's the logical, aggressive thing to do and I applaud them for it. I love competing games. Equals more stuff for us, especially those who plan to play both games.
