    Procs in DM?

Of course i took stamina, AV fights are longer than the average dust up. I tend to stay around 80 percent or more anyway, even on teams. If the team is in the group, I run to the next, gotta keep the fury bar up.

    Procs in DM?

lol, thanks. I do plan on eventually going to Crushing impact.

    Procs in DM?

    I currently have level 30 IO's
1 Acc, 1End Redux, 1 recharge redux, and 2 damage each.

    Procs in DM?

So, I got my DM/WP brute up to 32 nad have the final slots in Shadow Punch and Smite. My question is whether or not to put the Perfect Zinger chance for psionic damage into these two powers, or a normal damage IO?

Taken from the above posted link.
    Phalanx Fighting
Fighting very near your allies allows you to deflect attacks much easier. You will gain a small bonus to your melee, ranged and area of effect defense this bonus grows for each ally near you. This power is always on and costs no endurance.
BUG! When using MIDS to build your villain, MIDS will report a large defense increase when Phalanx Fighting is enabled. I recommend turning this power off in MIDS and just knowing you have a 3.75% defense bonus to all defensive postions.

    Minimum Level 20 (Brute)
    Self +DEF(Melee, Ranged, AoE)
Personal Comment: +3.75% defense to all positions with no end cost and another power you can slot a LotG:recharge in makes this power a no brainer. If you team alot, it only gets better.
Slotting Recommendation: Def IO, or LotG: Recharge if you don't already have 5 other places.

    Easy AV?

As a dm/wp brute, at 27, i took out barracuda and calystix. Just lvl 30 generic IO's

    Rerolling

    [ QUOTE ]
I've contemplated turning my BS/Regen into a Kat/Regen, but if I did, I'd probably keep the original character and just remake him on another server. Only level 50 I deleted was my fire tanker in a premature hissy fit, which I regret. Still, he remains dead, not re-invented.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I did the same thing with my claws/reg when they announced the continuing string of nerfs *ahem* adjustments. Was drunk during a hami raid and deleted good ole Gobbledygook.

    Rerolling

I was discussing this with my wife last night.
Hero side, if they have done the Positron TF, they will never be deleted.

Villain side, if I start working on the accolades, they will never get rerolled. The only time I even go into a pvp zone is to get the accolades, why would i reroll after spending 5 hours in Sirens Call or a day and a half logged in resting while a minion hits me to get 10million points of damage.
  10. They have the same res cap as tanks
  11. My wife has a bunch of pictures like this.
    Incidentally, I love Nightwish.
I'd show mine, but I don't know how.
  12. I'm not certain, but I know my /SR brute FEELS more survivable than my /SR scrapper.
  13. Not sure if it's directly mentioned, but you have to go into them to do the Sewer Trial, so, yeah, ok, I'm goin to bed now.

    Codes?

    [ QUOTE ]
I got invited to a team this morning, and as soon as I got on, one of the guys asked me if I knew any codes. I'd never heard this term before, but I asked if he meant ID numbers for AE missions, since it was the only thing I could think of that was code-like. He said no, then said "if you don't know what codes are, come back when you learn" and kicked me from the team.

Anyone know wtf this guy was talking about?

    [/ QUOTE ]

You should put this in the rude tells section.
  15. Be warned I am sleepy and tired, so spelling doesn't count. I also reserve the right to make very little sense, or cents, or since, or scents.

Willpower: Take all of them. The only one that is skippable is the resurection.

Claws: Follow up, Focus are definite must haves, Eviscerate, spin, and shockwave are fun, and good power choices.

Add in tough and weave from the pool powers, and you make yourself that much more durable. Just be warned that if you shockwave the baddies out of range of Rttc, it will drop your regen rate.

    Soloing n such

    Honestly, for scrappers, pick anything/anything.
Willpower is great solo, right out of the box though. Claws is a good powerset with relatively low end costs, and follow up is a great self buff. I myself am in the process of playing a DB/SP scrapper and a DM/WP brute.
  18. Thats what Werner does, he walks into a thread and hits spineburst.

AV soling is just a line, survivability level X. It turns out that ALL the secondaries can achieve survivability level X.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If the archetype isn't guaranteed to achieve survivability level x, then this discrepancy is just as likely to bring nerfs to other sets as it is to bring buffs to regen. If other sets are to be properly used to show how regen needs improvement, it needs to be shown that the other sets can survive something that regen can't but should. With the amount of power differences in other archetypes (i.e. ice/ff vs. fire/kin controllers), simply being less capable in certain situations isn't enough to get buffs thrown around.

    Pardon the passive tense.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure they were referring to scrapper secondaries. He just brought up other AT's because other people are soloing AV's with Defenders, blaster, corruptors, and I believe controllers to. Hell, some of them are soloing GM's with the other AT's.

If I'm wrong, please correct me, Werner.
  20. I soloed two AVs on saturday, at level 27.
Just Generic lvl 30 IO's, no sets, no frankenslotting.

Dark Armor has resistance, defense (but it's laughable unless you specifically IO out to get more defense), -to hit, self heal, +perception, and a damage Aura, and end drain resistance

    [/ QUOTE ]

    There, fixed that for you.

By the way, here's some food for thought. Just tinkering around with Mids, I managed to develop a thug/ta build which just with IO's, combat jumping, and maneuvers nets about 10% melee, 29% ranged defense and about 31% aoe defense. I'm sure someone with more determination then me could get around 30% defense to melee/ranged/aoe with a regen scrapper. I was only trying for aoe and ranged defense on that build.

30% defense to melee/aoe/ranged with regen's already high regeneration rate would be NASTY powerful.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, you didn't fix it for me. You fixed it to help illustrate your point. My point was that it has it, no matter how laughable, it has it. Regen does not. As far as IO's as others have pointed out, the sets aren't supposed to be balanced around IO's.
  22. That would be awesome. Truly awesome.
