I'm quite happy to allow a little trash talk in the PvP forums. When it crosses into insults, personal attacks and name-and-shame type posts I'm not so happy. This thread is locked.

I'm wondering where this has come from that it is being stated so factually; I've personally not seen or heard this as an official cause for the delay (of course, it may pre-date me being here: in which case, it's obsolete information). There were/are security reasons for why web feature such as this one takes time to develop, however the specific reasons for the delay that I am aware of are not related to any security concerns.

Ah, by hooking in I was thinking in terms of a small modification to the exe. If the methods you're using are the same as those used by other community tools then you are probably ok - but please don't take this as an official comment at this stage.

General rule-of-thumb: if you need to hook into the executable then it's almost certainly not allowed.
