*hugs GG* I hope all turns out a-ok for you!
On the upside *pats belly* wanna hear my kids move around like fishes? O.O; -
whoo I'm in a video *dances* ooh slowa is too! *Grins*
I was the black stealth suit clad, blue haired DBer.
Aww profound thanks, no need to thank me Ko-chan, always glad to help, if you ever need any more people in vids drop me a line. -
tl:dr
Honestly, calm down and try to spell properly if you wish someone to read that huge paragraph, with no line breaks or capitalization, hell no punctuation worth anything either. -
Corruptor: The slaughterer
This corruptor has chosen aoe damage primary and debuff secondary, (Fire/Dark for example), and will gleefully lay down that slow/immobilize then start their attack chain, before everyone has zoned in, OR before the brutes can come in to hopefully manage the aggro. (I'm guilty of this, I admit it). -
What'd ya fix *tries to find the fixt point in the post*
It's also a very lovely piece of art, by the way. -
*blinks at picture and scoots her chair back across the room* Gah, resolution huge...eyes unable to see all of it, brain unable to fathom the proper dimensio-*head asplodeys*
-
Not an envisionary, but from my playing of dual blades, brutes have it WAY better than scrappers, Fury is good for something and thats turning your opponents into cubed steak *nod nod*

>.> chrono that avatar rocks!

Whenever they give them to us.
They'll let us know when it's near by the "Soon™". -
I still want a "Form morpher", like Grunge from Gen 13.
Everyone forgets the form shifters, not shape shifters, but those who can change their entire chemical makeup to imitate a particular element, or power.
Like grabbing an Invincibility/SS enemy and mimicing his powers, only to uppercut him through the roof.
We still need talon claw like attacks, the whole 'wolvie' like claws thing is cool, sometimes, othertimes it's quite dated. -
Well there goes a lot of the for fun threads that were fun to post in, sidetracked
J/k, the effort is appreciated.
>.> just wondering if they need any community forum watchers, I've moderated at least four of them in the last six years. -
*Joygasm* Eeeeee! *Asplodeys!* O.O

Pirates don't really use dual swords. They use cutlass, sabers, things like that. Dual Scimitar is more like a arabian swordsman type deal. If I see Drizzt Do Urden clones I'm mocking them and then killing them if I can. :-p
[/ QUOTE ]
Pirates used to fly this flag, notice the two blades.
However, flags do vary. That was an old one, Jolly Roger used bones instead of the duel swords.
[/ QUOTE ]
Pirates STILL didn't use two cutlasses, that flag is to notify any viewers that the men on board are pirates, nothing more.
If anything that'd be a warning that you will end up in a swordfight and killed. -
I can weild two blades as well, I'm efficient in dual butterfly sword, dual hooksword, dual scholar sword, (But thats entirely dangerous right there), and dual kodachi.
Full length swords reduce your arc of lethatlity due to increased diffuculty in weilding them effectively, theres another sword to keep track of. It's incredible for someone who wants defense and attack, but otherwise it's generally not used.
I wish they had put whip, or rope dart, I pratice both of those daily, heck I'd have loved a 'snakesword'. -

I'm in agreement that the dual blades are too firggin' LONG...
I was thinking this would be more along the lines of a shortsword/main gauche combo, or twin sai or wakizashi ....
[/ QUOTE ]
Hn. Well twin kodachi would work great actully, they are japanese shortswords, wakizashi are a bit too short they're more like daggers, a tanto would be a knife, traditionally twin paired kodachi are used as shordswords they're shorter than Katana in length.
Theres a character from a game that uses them, though I can't remember what game or char name, female, assassin.., I want to say last blade series. -
Yar, how long'n that did take wonders I?
Piratin be in me blood says I, my father was a good pirate, me mum, well she wasn't so good, hanged by the gallows she was, but I pirate in her memory! -
*coughs and hands turkey another sheet of paper* "you forgot the trademarks!"
-
Gah doug! *Bows* soon as I get extra money I'm requesting art from you and Juggy, that'll be in a few weeks I hope :/
Everytime I get extra money some jerkface hits my car and I gott a repair it, or somthing with the house, or a new fridge, or a new oven range, it never ends.
Heh and to add to thread, you guys think visual art critics are bad, hooo you should see the audiphiles and electronic dance music critics, I can't tell you how many times I wanted to punch a non producer, non DJ, typical listener in the head for presumably "intelligently" ripping apart my set on the basis of..they don't like trance! *shakefist*
But that said, critiquing is an artform in itself, I try to point out the good and bad things, the picture juggy drew was great, I thought the two girls were contrasted as day and night, one with rounded shoulders and more curves, the the other with sharper angles and more thin-ness, but could have been the background, I haven't seen one without the background to compare it to.
Juggy post one without the background so I can compare, and give you cookies ^_^. -
Well hmm thats a mixed bag, I know my art isn't the best and once I get a scanner I'll start throwing it on my deviant art, I offer critiques, sometimes even if the artist hasn't asked, but PM first.
As an artist, (of both car modding, musical and visual), I accepted long ago that you will be critiqued, you will not always like it, but that is part of presenting your work to the public, everyone is a critic, sometimes they're not aware of personal styles or thematic presentation but "the path of a true artist is faught with peril, strife, caffeine and frayed nerves". -
*Tags his deviantart* Nice, I love the gauntlets, wish we had gauntlets like that ingame, the boots too, and the pads! >_<;
Ack *points at squirrel* you stole my anime frowny! -
Heh how to play mmorpgs with babies, good guide, I'll need that in seven months, as soon as I push out this spawn *grins*
I'm a gamer woman, a soon-to-be-married-once-my-fiance-gets-out-of-the-army gamer woman, and he games too so once he gets back the guide to gaming while having an infant is going to be helpful.
He didn't have to get me into gaming, he met me three years prior at a local arcade, kicking his posterior at King of Fighters, didn't hurt that I was local women's champ at Dance Dance Revolution, Freestyle and Speed categories, he was male second place, ah love! <3
Knowing the fact we're both into computers, and cars, I'm an IT manager and he's sattelite communications operator for the army, my (my old MOS), theres about a 50/50 chance the kid will either be a gamer, or a car nut, probably both.
For christamas last year he got me a new mobo and vid card setup, and a new intercooler, I got him a new body kit and memory, hmm maybe this year I can get him a new game he's been good..
Ah drifting thoughts, sorry I tend to randomly drift off on tangents, but yeah soon to be mother here, gamer, and even sooner to be wife, (In march hurrah!), took years to find each other but it was worth the bad boyfriends, his crazy ex's, my years of singleness and lamenting, ....now knowing our luck watch my doctor tell me we're having twins -
Grats Soul, seems you and I hit 50 on the same day, been quite a journey hasn't it?
Now we get to loaf around and try to figure out what to do next! -
Yeah introspective looks at the life of hero's from their friend's point of view.
As far as in character goes, Rosie's one of Acro's dear friends, Beetle's her adoptive father. The woman has a strange afinity to magical pets and magic in general, without being magical herself (that she knows of), go figure.
Though I absolutely love the art, those are the first art I've ever been gifted with, since starting the game in CoH beta.
Hmm maybe I can pratice daily again, try to get back to where I was in HS, though I absolutely suck at drawing porportions in realistic styles, I can do japanese animation style relatively easily...at least I HOPE I still can, it's been years. -
I did not draw these, in fact I wish I had as my artistic ability is limited to stick figures, somehow ill porportioned anime characters or Font type word drawings.
First up are two by Liberty Rose of the Virutue Server
Acrogirl, her Dad Atomic Beetle and her pet bat Fuzzums
What happens when you're a now sane, formerly insane hero whose anger has been repressed for five years
and the last one is by WildHawk of the virtue server as well.
Balancing Act
These three pieces mean the world to me, I think of the artists that drew them as friends, they're also the only art I've ever recieved, EVER.
>.> I didn't even get any on friday for my birthday, wonder if I can get libris to give me a belated birthday title..
