I didn't post to flame, mostly in hopes that you were unawares rather then unconserned of other player's conserns.

It's all about choice...
I chose the easy way of staying there where the crowd is and not having to listen to ...

If -I- was requested to (and agree with the reasons for) <OOC action X>, I wouldn't let my character stand in the way of that, usually it's a minor adjustment.

But I assume you don't agree with the reasons for this, so that's fair too

Too bad they don't adhere to it when they don't want to, but that's an other matter all together


the recap!

Last night Roselin found Jane at Pocket D and met Prom, they chatted for a while about I don't remember what before they were 'chased off'.

Oh well... later Sarah2 (Fallen Patriot) came by and they chatted a bit. Sarah2 wasn't feeling too good, and after a slight sitting down, Roselin escorted Sarah2 to her place of residence and cared for her until she stabalized.

Rose didn't like the person providing the hotelroom and so persuaded Sarah2 to relocate. Sarah2 seemed to trust Roselin over Feyth (the one that offered her the room) and so they left. Roselin set her up for the night and they arranged for longer arrangements the following day.

"Oh, Grav Mistress, a moment of your time, if I could... I have some questions I need to fire at random heroes." An officer visiting the MAGI offices asked.

Grav looked up from her book and raised a characteristic eyebrow "Very well"


1. Are you a licensed hero?
Semi retired, but yes.

2. Are you a member of the Militia?
"In a way, I guess I am, semi retired as I just said. Is this some new way of saying Freedom Corp? Citizens signing up to help protect the community, right?"

"No Mistress, it's a super group"

"Oh, then no, not sure I've heard of them"

3. Are you aware of any vigilanteism within the Militia? I'll asume a no?

"that'd be a save bet"

4. Are you aware of any criminal activity within the Militia?

"No again"

5. Do you know the whereabout of Sabrina San?

"Who? but I highly doubt it. And unless you brought a personal item, I can't really scry for her."

"Sadly no.."
6. If you were ordered to apprehend Sabrina San, would you obey?

"I don't think so, I'd sooner act on a request."

Sadly, you're mistaken.

You don't get any prestige at the creation of a SG, except for the members bonus (20k for the first 15).

So, any newly created SG will have 20k prestige (for the first member: the creator)

Last night, Roselin went to Pocket D and greeted Sarah and Nick who were discussing Sarah's alternate dimension double... Gaining the attention of those around them, they moved to a quieter bar to continue the conversation.

The current update was exhanged and a lot of speculation done.
Gash Jackal arrived and joined in the conversation.
Vigilante Storm passed on the news of Jiffy's demise.. which wasn't taken with much tears, as he wasn't known, and as a press member by default not popular
This sparked a discussion between Gash and Nick about papers, news, politics, democracy, laws and the corrupt nature of them all.
Staying out of it for the most part, Rose and Sarah chatted about other things, differences and similarities between Sarah1 and Sarah2, some finer points of fashion and purpose and more.

Zeyna arrived at some point and claimed 90% of Nicks attention and teasing, which had before that been directed at Rose and Sarah (as usual).

More happened, I zoned out at some point... got back and found that Sarah was talking with the shrink that Nick reccomended. (Savanha?)

As the two had a session, this left Rose and Nick to talk between themselves, mostly in whispers to not desturb them, or perhaps to keep the subject hidden...
Nick told some things about himself and other, most interesting conversation for Rose... possibly dangerous as well...

More chatting about Sarah and the dimensional difficulties, and the personal lives of those there, except for Sarah's as she left in time to avoid that

As with the original, the pulled up boot is a bit off, adding shadow to it might bring it out better?

I noticed the blast is slightly off... pointing downwards... until I aligned the eyes with the fingers and then the direction is perfect.

Double XP weekend has passed, 2 of the 5 weeks for this challenge have gone too...

I thought I'd offer a friendly reminder that only 3 weeks are left!

February 19th is coming!

I would suggest, base wise, to make one SG, get a friend to help you get your alts in that one SG.

Advantages:
1: The boost in Prestige you get for the first 15 members
2: Working towards building up one base, instead of many

Disadvantages:
1: You need a friend to help invite your other alts
2: It's one base. With some work you can create some homes for different characters, but... it's not as easy as making a home for each alt.

Last night Rose came to Pocket D and found Sarah sporting her new cape. Looked good too, despite some drawbacks pointed out by Nick.

Sarah's boyfriend turned out to be a law enforcer... but the universal laws.
Oh well, the world has seen many crazy people, some have even spoken the truth, so who knows? (when was the world flat again?)
Still, he was fairly convincing in his act... so Rose asked about dimensional twins, particularly 'opposite twins' (AKA the evil twin)

This because she had information regarding Sarah, and so she passed it to her. Pushing the responsibility of making a choice to Sarah, who's twin it entailed, so...

Meanwhile Nick and Shydow were discussing more of those laws, including time travel...

This was giving Sarah a head ache, so Rose brought her attention to fashion! They talked about Rose's 'new' outfit, Sarah's civilian clothes and colour matching.

Some more things happened, Rose had trouble not flirting/teasing Sarah for some reason and only barely caught herself. Nick didn't, or did, help with some comments... some to Sarah, others to Rose...

Only one comment I have to make is about the belts... the buckle on both Chiefy (the V ) and Moons are.. miss aligned

Jump pack = vertical movement and/or travel power booster
Pocket D teleporter = nice way to get around the 3 or 4 zones they are linked to

Grav is a mage, probably classed an Arch Mage in power and ability. Besides this she is also a Peacebringer.
In game thin means I now have 3 alts: lvl 50 Grav/FF/Fire Controller. lvl 40 Peacebringer. lvl 20 Fire/kin Controller.

In RP I tap between the powers of the alts an add to it her magic.

Conjuration: create a mundane object from thin air, usually only lasts 48 hours.

Alteration: alter the nature of an object. More 'impressive' alterations require her lab and time, not to mention research.

Necromancy: needs in the past had her researching this field and can do a few ... interesting thing with other peoples souls.

Alchemy: although more at novice level over all, she does have one or two special recepies

Enchantment: the creation of magical items, Also linked with some minor technomagic that scared the bejezus out of Doc T.
Most notable include such gifts as a music box with custom figurines that have some behavioral resemblence with the ones they are based on. Also a poaroid camera that makes "Harry Potter" style photos

Biomorphing: Taking the example of her wife, she has started experimenting with biomorphing. So far... without spectacular results

Custom spells, some of which are best left unnamed.


feats using the powersets to the extreem:
Gravitic storm: like a hurricane that consists mostly of flying debris

Create blackhole: instead of the miniature singularity that is her 'pet', she did once create a full blown blackhole in the savety of her own pocket dimension... and containd it. Purely for research purpeses, of course.

Wormhole/portal: using her understanding of both, she is able to create a portal to anywhere in the world using either her memor or a map.
Also other dimensions is possible, so long as she has a link to the target dimension (object; person; memory; energy signature)


and more?
yup... basically anything magical I can think off at what I think is a reasonable cost

I have two villains myself.

You've met Roselin Thorne, who has befriended a hero and is generally friendly and polite.
Come to think of it, she's actually a hero with 2 things against her... that she lives in the Rogues and has a fondness for pretty things (and not a great deal of scrutiny about how she gets them)

I must admit it's nice to see some friendly villains. Most of those that pop by (ie: don't come often) have that... stereotypical need to cause distress.
