The style of Digital Art

Heya guys,
Ive been working on a couple of signatures for my characters (to use for a flash animation that I'll post up here in a short while)

Now, in my signature there is two styles of banner, the Ingame Pic style (click White Cross), this banner features an ingame image that is used for the background

Then, there is the...well...not ingame pic style, made by me.

Generally I made this thread for help, not only on which style you like better but also some good places I could picture for my characters (kudos to the one who knows what White Cross' picture is (is it that hard lol)).

But yea, what I meant it that screenshots I could use to put in my signatures, not pictures that have my characters in them.

When you click the White Cross signature, the background is of somewhere ingame (I wonder if anyone will guess). To me it seems fitting for the character.

Maybe it was a stupid question, but I just cant htink of anywhere I could take pictures.

Scenic shots are everywhere. Just keep your creative eye open on your way to missions and on mission maps. Nice signatures, liking the avatar as well.
