I didn't see any mention of VEATs in there... IF that were an option, I can bring my Fortunata (Katipo Slayer). I'd offer to bring my Fire/Psi Dom, but I'm WAY too much of an aggro magnet with her for a Master of anything run

...when someone comes into the room and covers your eyes while you're playing... and you proceed to defeat the mob you were facing anyway.

I don't get off until 6:30 tonight (eastern), but I'll definitely seek y'all out when I get home.
-
Interesting... I'll definitely have to get one of my non-RP arcs backup and running again (something tells me a Bleach-themed RP arc might not work so well).
-
Heh, I was about to come to the boards and ask about just this. I had done the same earlier and wanted to see what everyone thought... Guess I'm not as brilliant (or at least original) as I first thought

Quote:This version would be MUCH more preferable, imho. The only way I would be ok with build switching without visiting an NPC would be:
- Set Player Health 1
- Set Player Max Regeneration 0, duration 60 seconds.
- Set Player Max Endurance 0, duration 60 seconds.
- Set all powers state to Initial Recharge.
- Wipe all Buffs/Debuff on character.
In other words, we do NOT want players to be able to situationally change power selections. -
I'm really just disappointed this is ONLY available for HeroCon registrants. I mean, I'd love to go, but... cross-country trips are a bit outside of my time/monetary budget right now.
-
Drain Psyche has SOUND!!!!
Not sure how I missed that on Test, but that's AWESOME. -
Quote:Personally, I won't be doing much in the AE for a little while. I know that the current 'solution' that just went Live is just a stop-gap measure, but I don't really feel like working around the limitations this change presents only to potentially have to change everything again when the final change comes. There aren't Boss farms anymore; maps with all bosses maybe... but definitely not worth farming.
...
At first glance, they went from the extreme of custom farms, past the equilibrium of comparable play and into the extreme of a non-progressive format.
I'm sure some will find ways to deal but most will not want to play customs that have more risk but less reward than their canon (AE and non-AE) counterparts; regardless of if it has award worthy fiction attached to it or not.
I'm happy the farm will start to get weeded out though. -
Wewt! Logging in remotely so I'll be all patched up by the time I get off work

Not sure if this is in ANY way helpful (to the topic at hand), but I found a very handy plugin for Firefox, designed specifically to work with vBulletin boards. I think I posted it in the wrong forum (I rarely post anything tech-related), but I thought I'd give y'all a heads up.
Original Post
Direct Link to Plug-in
It has some VERY nice features, including ignoring users, avatars, signatures, and/or even entire threads. There's also the converse feature, highlighting and a host of other little tools.
Hope y'all find it useful -
I stumbled upon this Firefox plugin a little while ago. The features it offers are a VERY nice addition to the forums. Hopefully y'all will find this as helpful as I do!
>Download and Features Page<
Ignore Feature:- users
- threads
- keywords
- avatars and/or signatures
Highlight Feature:- users
- prefixes
- keywords
Bottom Bar:- For added convenience, a bottom bar is automatically attached to the bottom of Firefox when visiting vBulletin sites. This is a feature which can be turned off in the preferences.
- On the bar you will find the breadcrumb navigation (forum drill down links), page navigation, handy links (search, usercp, new thread, new reply) as well as some handy links for working with FfvB itself.
- Also, the color of both the background and text is customizable to match your favorite board.
Subscriptions:
You can now "subscribe" to your favorite forums (even if they're just subforums) and view all of the thread lists in a single tab. Each forum will auto reload at intervals of your choosing (30s, 60s, 120s, etc) and are displayed in easy to read black on white text with no images.
Sidebar:
Very closely resembling the subscriptions page, this feature loads a single forum's thread list into Firefox's sidebar so that you can continue to see threads being created and bumped as you browse other sites.
Import/Export:
New in 2.2.3, there is now a feature in the preferences where you can simply copy and paste your FfvB saved lists from one installation to another and your information will be available in each copy of Firefox!
Replacement Boxes:
If you've ever ignored someone using vBulletin's ignore feature, you will recognize the replacement box stating "this user is on your ignore list, click here to view"...
This feature is off by default, but you can enable it in the preferences and all ignored users, threads, prefixes, keywords, avatars and sigs will be replaced with a box stating what was ignored and why, with an option to view.
Magic Paste:
On forums without the "enhanced textarea" which shows images directly within it, magic paste (on by default) will automatically add the [IMG][/IMG] tags when pasting a jpg, gif or png into a post. -
The problem is, ancillaries are not and cannot be designed for specific primaries or secondaries (unless Castle decides that balance just isn't worth dealing with anymore... which is about as likely as Jay becoming un-sexy).
Edit: Feh, beaten to the (much more eloquent) punch. -
Pretty much the best way to deal with this. I was originally following the devs using the method the OP and Zombie suggested, but this is a much more solid way to deal with it. Thanks!
(not saying the OPs work wasn't helpful, this is just... moreso :P) -
The info in the title is all there was on his Twitter page.
However, I'm pretty sure you can see both themes in this video... or at the very least what they looked like at Comicon: http://www.youtube.com/user/GrumbleC.../4/0X1Hi3sOS5U
Hopefully this isn't technically helping leak info... I would assume not since it was publicly viiewable at the Con. <shrug> -
Haha, glad I could assist. My characters of late have all been Bleach-themed (and thus quite Japanese or Spanish of origin), so it was nice to break free from that theme for a bit.
