It depends on what you want? Nrg is a good pairing for AR for many reasons (boost range, build up, ) while Devices relies more on trip mines and cloaking device.
-
You are a few weeks early for April fools day.
-
Even after three or four green beers I wouldn't buy the littler feller at that price point. Besides the way he follows you is creepy but his death animation (dies easily) is obnoxious.
-
Solo build is solo.
Team build is team.
You said this is a solo build, so keep it that way. -
Quote:So far, my experience is that he's as squishy as a blaster, and goes through endurance like a tank. And DPS can be best described by slightly misquoting "Blazing Saddles": "Don't shoot them; you'll only make them mad." Soloing him, I find I have to rest and recover after every group. What really helps is if I can avoid getting the attention of more than about two opponents at once. Maybe I'm just too used to the relative efficiency of blasters. Thanks.
You shouldn't be as squishy as a blaster once you pickup FFG or seeker drones to soak up alphas (which comes much later). Assault Rifle is an AoE set and you haven't picked up the heavy hitters (Flamethrower, and Full Auto) yet or even Ignite.
Using SO's there are several ways to slot attacks:
2 ACC, 3 DAM, 1 END
1 ACC, 3 DAM, 1 END, 1 RECH
2 ACC, 2 DAM, 1 END, 1 RECH
For an Assault Rifle corruptor using SO's my opinion is don't bother going for recharge for flamethrower, buckshot, grenade launcher. Having at least 1 rech SO in Full Auto though makes a difference. But an additional RECH is not worth giving up DAM or ACC for.
If you notice though all variations have at least 1 END reduction SO (out of six slots). Yes, six slotting attacks is a good idea if you are using SO's.
From there you can determine what else you need to put end reduction in, but your priority is to put end reducers in the attacks first.
Most importantly put two additions slots into stamina, to have three END MOD's. -
1. Don't use DO's as it is a waste of influence.
2. SO's can be found on the auction house at good bargains. Snatch them up before you become F2P. Cheaper than buying them from NPC stores.
3. Defenders have better Trap values, but Corruptor scourge helps a lot with SO builds. It is up to you based on preferences. -
Quote:I don't know if you have heard, but there is a lot of pushback with MMORPG's that focus on making a players character the star of the story as it really devalues interaction with other players (hint lightsabers). The SSA arcs do that already, then again some argue not enough, but a balance must be found.Sure it is. Did you know that Maria Jenkins was my blaster's schoolteacher? Does it matter to you? Not at all. It doesn't affect your play one bit if my characters' backstories weave into the lore of the game. In fact, that's the entire point of playing a role-playing game.
If some new lore disagrees with what I've dreamt up, then I adapt and come up with something new. I assume everyone else is doing the same with their characters, if they role-play at all. Players build upon the given lore with their own stories.
But forcing lore down a player's throat where the NPC is the star? I'm not interested. They're bit players in my story. It should never be the other way around. -
Good issue, and the olympian guard costume pieces are amazing. Like almost as versatile as the barbarian costume pieces. Kudos to the art team!

I want the sash for a male ninja/pirate hybrid! Please Paragon studios pretty please?
-
The Paragon team has hinted at love for snipes soon, and I suspect they will do something similar to AS changes for Stalkers.

I don't view alignment change in equal value of a respec, thus I reiterate that it should be 600 not 800. At that current price point it is too high even for VIP's. That is my feedback and thank you. Edit: I don't understand the outrage over Ghost Falcon's post as it was an honest point of view.
-
Before I22 debatable. After I22, highly likely.
I am leaning towards not having it frankly, but I can change my mind on it seeing it doesn't require slot investment. -
Actually Black Hole is more useful than time bomb.
-
I like the idea of proliferating existing rifle options to other sets, and the retro rifles as new additions. Gimme, gimme, gimme! o.O
-
The respec is 800, but I don't think alignment token should be the same cost though. Realistically 600 points because 400 is too low.
-
If they rotate what is in the packs it theoretically can be sustainable revenue generation, but like GPbunny said not for the long term if things stay as is.

Quote:Haha true. What does that say about US, though? The contacts might be thinking, "You know, we called you on six different occasions, and now three heroes are dead. You can go ahead and sit the rest of this out. We're thinking maybe we'll give Blast Furnace a chance instead..."
I think the shift that needs to happen is the player has to thwart Wade at some point regardless how prepared he is. I look forward to finally being a wall he can't drive through, because right now I feel like a minor speed bump to this guy who once upon a time I worked with smuggling artifacts with. :P -
Quote:I think the Freedom Phalanx is very incompetent so if they are killed off it allows room for growth.Thought we could use a thread about SSA6 that wasn't about "it's here" or "and other stuff on the market" or "and new powersets" but just about *the story* and the big reveal.
Sister Psyche is dead.
So... Who Will Die? Isn't just about Statesman, but about Sister Psyche, too. And who knows... maybe more. Characters in and out of the Freedom Phalanx are now dead. More to come? -
I am inclined to agree short term these packs will have some appeal but long term that will fade.
I think it is an interesting way to offer variety, but needs to go back to the drawing board for some revisions IMO.
