  1. Ignoring my point and instead insulting me. Way to go.

Ditto on this. Defense caps are easy to hit, while resistance isn't, so I love having a resistance buffer on the team when I'm on a melee person.

This specific problem has already been stated by developers as something they want to rectify. If you're going to badmouth people, get your facts straight instead of throwing hyperbole everywhere.
  4. Generally speaking, debuffs from buff/debuff sets don't stack, while debuffs from blast sets do. If you have mids, you can check this by hovering over the effect and seeing if the popup includes a tag of "Effect does not stack from same caster".
  5. I knew this thread would deliver eventually.
  6. Ah it was, I didn't notice that. Thanks.
  7. The only way to hit 80-100% -res is to start using screech in your attack chain, which is only useful if you're on a team. If you're solo, it's best to use the attacks.

Definitely healing. With spiritual (which you're no doubt using in a build like this) the heal hits for about 352 followed by about 646 over the next thirty seconds. And this is an area heal. More if the target is accelerated, of course.

The endurance costs are the most prohibitive part of the set. And -regen is overrated and won't make any noticable difference for most players.

There was a sonic blast DPS thread that I contributed to. No idea where it is now though. Basically, you want to do shriek, scream, shriek, shout unless you have an extremely high amount of recharge, in which case you want to alternate between shriek and scream. I don't know what the exact boundary is.

    /Fire Blast

It is. The defender version was copied over from blasters and modified.

    Who to talk to?

Black Scorpion is the lead powers guy, but Synapse has been more active on the boards recently. Depending on what it is, a bug report might be best.

Time's Juncture debuffing to-hit just as much as hurricane does. Now THAT was interesting.

Compared to the other time stuff that got fixed in beta, this is pretty minor. Like you though, I don't really understand how this didn't make it into an earlier patch.
  15. I definitely advise the leadership pool as well.
  16. Here's a list of powers you want to take, along with suggested slotting. Not everyone likes siren's song, but I suggest you take it and give it a shot. Easy enough to respec out of it if you find out it's not for you.

Note: You may be unable to load this build. I'm using a screwy version of mids.

Current goal with the next mids version is to have it done by monday. If it's not done by monday, it's going to be over another week before it's out.

fire doesn't get any kind of bonus on defenders compared to other ATs.

Let's not get started on how overpowered VEATs are.

This is a widespread, but inaccurate, belief. The target cap or low radius on the two -res powers in trick arrow result in it being about the same as the other sets that have resistance debuffs, even if you somehow manage to hit every enemy with acid arrow's small area.

  21. You're looking at neutrino bolt-cosmic burst-neutrino bolt-repeat being your single target attack chain. Throw in electric fence before the repeat if you're using the electric APP.

Sonic and force field at least do what they specialize in better than any other set. Trick arrow does not accomplish this.

This is exactly why I advise people to take pistols on a defender/corruptor and pair it with a set that debuffs damage.
