Hey, assuming you want this pve and not pvp your build looked ok but i thought some powers were under slotted and better sets could be used so i just tweaked it abit, reaaranged some powers and rejigged the slotting. Personally i hate snipes so i took that out but if you enjoy using it you can switch it in for consume and just use 5 sting of the manticore IO's.
Your build has quite a few purples in and these are very expensive so i didn't really bother using them in the 1st build. The second build loaded is with purples so you can work towards them as you get more money.

muahaha Cages ftw, we had a grav/ff with dual cages i kept telling him to cage you max while will kill SRM :P. Was great fun i wasn't there the whole night only towards the end but was wicked.

Your build was ok, although i thought some of the slotting could do with a little tweaking and some powers could do with more slots/less slots etc.
Also in my opinion i don't think there is any point in taking power push because all the energy blasts have KB so having 1 power dedicated to KB is kinda silly with 4 other spammable powers that do KB Also The dmg from power push sucks :P.

I play Ice/em alot in zones and personally with 50% global rech you can maintain and nice attack chain, there isn't really any need for 3 melee attacks (exclu. Power thrust ofc :P). I dropped total focus because the long animation time was leaving me vulnerable to melee classes. I would suggest you drop either Energy Punch or Total Focus for boost range.
I could post my build if you wanted but yours looks fine, Only thing i would change is to mix up some IO's on where you have slotted Apoc's and Heca's to get some better accuracy on those powers. Also although it might only help a little, i think it's handy to have the +perception IO somewhere. I have one on aim.

ty for your reply Jackal, i have updated the build a little. I switched the thunderstrikes in Subdue to decimations to give a little more recharge. I mostly did this because i dropped one of the Dark watchers despair in RI and added in another Touch of lady grey to get more recovery and abit better def debuff. I moved the slot from EF and put it on mental blast to squeeze in more recovery from thunderstrikes.

I personally would prefer health and regen over ranged defense, seeing as there is a lot of blasters around, the extra health is really needed. Ranged defense wont make a differece to a blaster once hes used his BU+Aim.
Also the extra HP and regen will help you in situations when fighting a melee clas such as a Brute or Stalker.
i would also recomend slotting 3 rech on your BU+aim, you will want them as often as possible when fighting stronger targets, Blaster fights nowadays are kill the other person before they kill you :P

It sounds like your build isnt really made for straight up combat, alot of people use SS+SJ as movement for pvp so they can easily move around and keep distance from their target when fighting and also cause its fast :P. I think if you're going to be laying mines then tp foe onto them and finishing them with your primary attacks, SJ won't really be needed. You should be ok with Teleport as virtical movement it is kinda fast as a travel power but just annoying. Set up the bind that lets you hold a key and click where you want to Teleport and it should make things easier.

Well i don't really think Flares is needed for either the attack chain or to get the most benefit from the new Defiance. Even if it is another ranged attack it still will only be good for finishing off the enemies with very little HP left. I wouldn't recommend taking it.

I have a Fire blaster and i wouldn't recomend taking flares the damage isnt great.I seem to be alright just using Fire Ball, Fire Blast and Blaze.
