*(done!) Set storage racks/tables/bins to store/sort alphabetically, the same as personal storage.

    * Fix the behaviour of the Vault Storage to work like Salvage Racks & Personal storage (ie. clicking, drag-n-drop, etc). This may mean looking at how the Vault works in the game overall.

    * textures on the undersides of the large floor tile and small SG tiles so they are not invisible from underneath. Use the base ceiling and floor skins instead of the white pattern on the floor tile so we can have several options of tiles to choose from (this would greatly reduce the number of items needed for "second floors", thereby also the rendering load).

    * Large wall items, in a similar fashion as floor options suggested above... y'know, to make skinny walls within a room, instead of again using a gazillion desks.
^^^This ALL day this, pleeeeeeease give us this!
  2. Will be back on soon mate.
  3. You still putting team together for dxp?
  4. Im interested, send me a /t @Skyscrape if you have anything in mind.
  5. Looking for some feedback on the current build im looking at using. Main thing i was looking at was to get GangWar as close to perma as poss (i can actually get perma by switching 1 power for another and changing 1 slot in GangWar) but i figured 4sec difference was ok.

Also looking for as much pet survivability as possible.

    - You don't have double tactics so you won't be able to see stalkers, which is one of the prime reason to play a VEAT.
    - Your hp is a little low.

Otherwise not a bad build. Defense numbers look very good. Recharge bonus is a bit more than I would shoot for; with DR you won't be able to get hasten up nearly all the time like mids says.

    My recommendations...
    - Switch out CT:O for Mental Blast. Steal slots from boxing for MB.
    - Drop Eviscerate, Take Maneuvers in place of it, take tactics where you have maneuvers currently.
    - Leave just the single slot in tactics and move the perception IO over there.
    - I'm not a fan of 6 slotting glad javs. I prefer to 3 slot for the hp bonus and split with another 3 slot hp bonus, or go with 4 slots for the hp/range def and frankenslot the other 2 with enhancements needed or another proc depending on the power its in. 3 glad jav, 3 apoc works very well on builds with only 2 ranged attacks.

Eviscerate doesn't do enough damage for its activation time. You already have a long animating high-damage attack in shatter armor. Mental blast gives you the range attack chain, and tactics lets you see stalkers. Leaving it with the single slot doesn't waste any, as its use is situational when you're up against stalkers. This leaves you with several slots to do as you choose. More hp and accuracy would be good.
Thats some really great advice, thanks. Looking at making those adjustments now. One thing i was looking at was possibly switching out the figthing pool for the healing pool to get a self heal, do you think this would also be worth while?

Ok here in the new build:

  9. Hey all, just hit 47 with my NW and i am looking for some much needed help, have looked at various threads on NW pvp spec and some have helped some have confused me even more.

Being that i have been absent of pvp since pre I13 i have alot to catch up on. While pvping i have noticed most taking multiple phases and self heals, seem to be slotting for HP first and then what ever their specs primary meant for.

For this reason i have went for HP and DEF then some rec on my build, basically im looking for some critique on the current build im looking at, which will be for zonal (sirens/warburg/rv) and arena, im prepared to graft for the recipes and cash but anything in the excess of 10bill may be a push.

    Anyways here is the build:

Regen's better, but you can be focused down. Elec has Res and a heal, so decent survivability, but not the sustained sort Regen has.

None of this matters. You shouldn't be rolling a KM anything. If you want damage, play a Blaster. Downs is rough, I'd guess, but kids would be less bad if they didn't rely on heaps of HP and a single hard hitting attack. It's less effective, just more suited for the mentally challenged, I guess. I don't understand how you can play with all the drooling over the keyboard, so maybe there is hidden talent somewhere.
LOL so u recomend a blaster ... let me guess ... psy/erg ... cause thats any harder to play!

Anyway, listen to Nutty i seen and been up against him, he knows whats hes talking about. Least km/elec is switching things up some what, unlike km/regen and the 100s of cloned blasters out there.

Yes i do have km/regen in making, but have put it on hold, as didnt realise how many there where.

Word of advice though, if you are going KM purely down to the OP CS, it will no dubt recieve a nerf at some point.

H iall looking for some critique on the current build im looking at (im aware theres 2 slots left).

Will be looking mostly at zonal teaming with this one.

  12. Hey sorry to hijak your thread, but its only one i seen on widows. I am also looking for some help, have had a look at the above thread and its been very helpful.

Anyways here is what im looking at so far:

  13. Back again, and wow Local very comprehensive guide. Has given me a lot to think about, and in your PA build you have taken the powers she prefers to use.

Id like to add that she plays the toon mostly in teams and as pretty much a support class as opposed to any kind of damage.

Also reasoning behind sleep ios in blind was purely i didnt feel all that extra cash was worth 6 sec extra hold, you can slot FH IO's for way cheaper than basilisks or unbreakable. Also it rec every 2sec so its way beond perma anyway

With you on choking cloud, wasnt sure it was worth it. As for spectral im now looking to put that in to replace choking.

Why EM pulse aswell? Purely for the sets? I have found it on previous toons to be a waste, im never a fan of something that leave me with no end and takes me out of the fight.

I strongly suggest you take a look at the information and builds in my Illusion/Radiation guide. The link is in my sig. The guide will explain why I have suggested the powers get slotted the way I did. I have a recommendation for leveling up as well as end-game builds. (I think players need to learn what they like in their character before worrying about an end-game build.)

You have some major issues: Skipping Spectral Wounds. Slotting Blind for Sleep. Underslotting EndRdx in Superior Invis. Underslotting EndRdx in Choking Cloud (which I don't recommend taking for an Ill/Rad, but it is great for a Fire/Rad). It would be far faster for you to read the guide than to go over all the issues -- which is part of why I wrote the guide.
Hey Local, tnx for the constructive advice, im going to have a look now and ill repost a build for it after taking into consideration what your guides says.
  15. Hey all, making a build for a friend who is new to game, as i have never played a controller let alone ill or rad im looking for some advice please.

    Here is the first draft:

  16. As it says in the title, was wondering how DR actually effects everything?

How much rec is it worth slotting for before DR comes into effect, same for def and anything else it effects?
  17. Well not sure on the numbers side of game, but in testing myself and at least 2 other friends have found it works best in burn, must be a case of on initial hit and at the 10second mark, which means it would have the chance twice every 10secs its active to hit, also taking into account io sets, brun rec time is reduced significantly. Mine rec every 5.9 secs and is perma if need be.

BA really is not the place to put this, BA ticks way to slow, as for FS yes it hits more targets in a single hit but burn ticks faster than BA and is constantly hitting those 5 targets for way longer resulting in it eventually having more opportunites than either power to proc.

BA ticks to slow for it to make it worth it, it is in testing way better in burn as it ticks alot faster.
  20. If you are looking to farm with your current build, i really advise strongly against it, of course it certainly can do, but at a very slow rate compared to the ss/fire rec monsters out there. I myself have ss/fire brute i use for farming and i went with the opinion of kill them before they kill me, go pure rec then whatevers left over top up your fire def.

Id post my build, but id have to kill you

Anyways, im running ambush farms and demon farms np at all +4 +8. Sitting at 191% rec, 90% fire res 24.5% fire def, i use the spiritual alpha to add 45% more rec and its just silly how quick my powers are up , especially that all important heal. In total i spent 1.5 bill (not including 5 lotg+rec, use merits for them) and i destroy the ambush farms in under 5 mins np, demon farm np aswell.

Foot stomp is defo where to put the +rec kb io aswell, procs almost every other stomp.

Also if money is no object stick a FotG chance for res debuff in burn, its godly against the boss's.

Lastly, i run two builds, as PS kindly gave us the option to carry multiple builds then do so, setup a second build for tfs and tanking, personally thats what i did.

    Hope this helps.

PS. max your rec in FE it makes massive difference to your attacks and if your farming take pyre or mu epic pool for more aoe, drop jab, haymaker and taunt.
  21. Hey all, aint pvped since around issue 6. From what i have read its a whole new ball game now, so i am looking for some help with this build, and yes i know its the noob choice, like i said been a while, besides kinda looks fun.

  22. thanks all, much appreciated now to get a villain to 50
  23. Thanks folks for both not flaming katana and for actually giving some useful advice on how to help out, i know its not the 'pvp build of choice' but i would rather it was my ability than my build that done the work
  24. Nope this is my only 50, i have read alot on katana and i know what people think of it, but i would rather use this toon.
